The work went very well both times, the costs are reasonable, the work is done efficiently, the area is left tidy. I'm very pleased.

It took a second appointment two days after the diagnostic one, but everything went smoothly and the new opener is great.

Tech Steve was very efficient and professional. He quickly assessed what needed to be done and did it in a timely manner. Pricing was fair. The company was very prompt in responding to my need. Will definitely use them again and would recommend to others.

Garage door was inoperative. Called late Friday afternoon. Frank showed up promptly at 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Cleaned up motor, and oiled all moving parts. Door works fine. Had same problem earlier and unfortunately used another company that charged four times as much for less work. Highly recommend Plano Garage Door opener.

Job went well. Repairman actually showed up a little early and called me to say he was ready. A new spring was installed, everything was adjusted and he was on his way in about 30 mins. Good job.

Special order took a few weeks to come in, but it was expected. Installer was punctual and replaced the door in about 2 hours. Only minor concern - I drove to the show room/office once and there was a "Be back at 2pm" note tape to the door. Another time I visited, 10 minutes before closing time and I caught them just leaving (thus the "B" rating for professionalism).

The technician, John, came out at the promise time of arrival and he was extremely pleasant and professional. He examined the problem areas and quickly repaired the problem expeditiously! He even made some needed adjustments with recommendations for the ongoing maintenance of my gate. I was completely satisfied with the overall workmanship and I will definitely use this company in the future for any upcoming problem, as well as future maintenance. We went there to get a quote on garage doors on the recommendation of our general contractor. We went on a Saturday. They had very few models on their floor. When we asked to see their selection, the woman seemed put out. We had to explain to her that she must have catalogs or brochures because otherwise no one would be able to order anything from them. After we used that logic on her she grudgingly showed us their catalogs. She tried to tell us that what we wanted (we had an example on our architectural drawings) did not exist. She could not have made it clearer that she was not interested in selling us any garage doors. We went to Plano Overhead Door instead, where they had a large selection of working garage doors (and openers) on their floor. Including the exact door depicted in our drawings. We bought from them.

This morning, for some reason, my garage door would not go down, so I called Plano Garage Door & Opener at about 10:30AM. I as told that a technician could be available at my house between 12:00 and 1:00PM later that same day. Technician Steve gave me a confirming call shortly before arriving exactly on schedule. Turned out to be a broken spring that is used to tension the door. Within 30 minutes he was done. In addition to changing out the spring, he also relocated the door sensor, that had gotten knocked of the wall and was just supported on an old box that I had placed under it for a temporary fix. He then stayed to make sure that I was satisfied with the repair that he had just completed and even checked my other garage door to make sure it did not show any issues. I have used this company consistently after having had bad experiences with other garage door repair service providers and would recommend them to anyone.

they came out within a couple of hours which was important in this case because it was very hard to get my car out of the garage with garage door being broken . They did a good job and the cost was as discussed .

I have used this company before so when I needed service I called them again. They are always quick to respond, very professional, and are honest. I was concerned that the whole opener needed to be replaced, and they felt it just needed a repair. They did the repair at a reasonable price, and the opener is still working well.

They were very responsive and willing to work with us to get the gate designed exactly like we wanted. The gates are high quality and the Liftmaster openers are silent. Our goal was to enclose the driveway so kids could play and to add landscaping to create a relaxing place for adults. Raymond completed the job within 3 weeks from signing the contract. His crew even saved us money by digging the trench for the electrical work. The gate openers are MyQ enabled which allows me to control them from my iPhone. Very cool!

We purchased a home with a 7 year old iron fence in desparate need of help. Every section needed sanding and painting. Some sections had already rusted away. Raymond Kimbrell addressed which sections needed replacing and which could be replaced or repainted. He determined that the posts were in good shape. We contracted to have all of the sections replaced. The workmanship is beautiful. Raymond adjusted the installation from what had been to what will not rust in the future. While no sanding was needed, the posts were painted to match the sections. The installation gentlemen were timely, polite, neat and worked to make sure of my satisfaction.

We called on Oct first in the afternoon. The person was very helpful, and told us they recommend replacing both springs when one breaks, which we thought wise as the springs were installed in 1996. We asked if an appointment was available the next day, and were told that between 11 and 12 the next morning was available. Scott (the technician) actually arrived about 10 minutes early, told us it would take about 30 minutes, and it was done in less than that time. As he was filling out the paperwork, I asked (believing that the answer would be 'no') if the company could provide a new remote opener for our elderly garage door opener. He checked it, and said that he had one in the truck. So I bought that also. He did the coding and checked that it worked.

My Genie garage door opener was 26 years old and would no longer open. I had used Plano Garage Door & Opener a few years ago to repair it. They were very nice at the office when I called to schedule an appointment. The first technician that came out was on time and professional. He determined that it could not be repaired so it had to be replaced. The next appointment was at 9:00 AM. The technician arrived at 8:50 AM and had it replaced (all by himself!) at 9:30 AM. A Liftmaster 3255 was installed. They are professionals and I would absolutely use them again. I am very pleased with the service. I think they are fair and the cost was reasonable.

They arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and quoted a price. It took less than an hour. Job well done.

Gararage door was scary loud; now it's not!

Technician arrived in a timely manner and was a courteous, professional individual. Work was done quickly and appears to have been done well. He seemed knowledgable and I learned some new things about our particular door.

Amazing - they were extremely responsive, fast, thorough, and fair. Coming home from a quick errand, the garage door almost fell off the track and the track was horribly bent. They were out in a flash, fixed it completely, lubricated the system (so quiet now!!!), and charged us a fair price.

I'd been having trouble with the door not going down on occassion for a couple of days (sometimes it would go down and sometimes it would start going down and then about halfway down go back up). I kept checking the sensors and then seemed to be aligned. They came out and couldn't find anything wrong but I asked them to go ahead and do the service. It has been working fine since then.

When the garage door wouldn't open, I called Plano Garage Door based on the reviews they received. They came out promptly and diagnosed the problem. I'm very happy with their service.

Great experience overall. I contacted the owner Raymond and he came to my home and gave me a quote the same day. Went to the showroom a few days later and selected the product -- approximate 42 feet of custom wrought iron railing with design(scroll) inserted in the middle of each 8' panel. He gave me an estimated time of frabrication and installation of 2 weeks, but it only took him 1 week. Ran into an issue of supporting the posts to the top of the stone retaining wall (issue dealt with type of stone and NOT Plano Garage). After conversing with masons who just completed the wall, it was decided to remove parts of the wall and anchor the posts into the masonry wall (instead of the stone veneer). Raymond's crew worked with the masons and correctly installed the railing. Even though his crew came out multiple times, and Raymond met me multiple times, the original quote was the price I paid. Craftsmanship on the fabrication of the railing is outstanding. Raymond is a great person to work with, and strives to get the job done right. Would use this company again without any reluctance. Also referred this company to a few friends needing fence work.

Called in the morning the they were able to come over the same day. Two guys showed up but one stayed in the truck the whole time texting on his phone (not very professional in my opinion). The second guy was nice and did all the work fairly quickly. I felt it was a little expensive for the amount of time/effort but not too far out of line.
