Pella Windows and Doors

We had an outstanding experience with Pella Windows DFW, thanks to Ernie Borroto, our Replacement Sales Consultant. Ernie did a phenomenal job educating us on the quality, longevity, and logistics of installing the windows. He was always timely and maintained strong communication throughout the entire process. Ernie guided us every step of the way, even after the installation was complete. On installation day, he visited to ensure everything went smoothly and checked in on us, demonstrating his dedication to excellent customer service. He was flexible and helped us explore various financing options for the windows, making the process much easier for us. Ernie was always courteous and professional, and we believe all Pella consultants should follow his example. He's clearly the best at his trade and deserves a raise. We also want to commend Ashton and Mekshek, the father and son duo who installed our windows. Their expertise and seamless teamwork were evident in the flawless installation. They were professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Overall, our experience with Pella Windows DFW was exceptional, thanks to Ernie, Ashton, and Mekshek. Highly recommended! I will be telling family & friends about you guys and I will definitely be sending more business your way.

Buyers beware. I contracted with Pella Windows & Doors, Plano, Texas office to replace 30+ windows and 2 exterior doors; including installation, over $50K paid and I am still waiting for the job to be completed, 14+ weeks and counting. This company has similar customer service practices as the airlines and IRS, so beware. There is a long list of miscues by Pella (mis-measuring windows, order delays, production issues) and it's people and to-date, they have failed to recognize or recover from their errors. Their products are good, however the process to completion is challenging. I chose Pella over Andersen and in retrospect realize I hired the wrong company.

The sales team was extremely responsive and professional. Unfortunately, the team who came to install the new windows was less than professional in behavior. In addition, they ended up doing some sloppy work like leaving a mess and filling in gaps between the window and the frame with putty. I discovered this when I attempted to install blinds and was met with putty...not wood. The weekend after the installation, we had a very bad storm and one of the new windows leaked significantly. My contractor came out immediately (during the storm) and put up plastic. The problem was resolved and I have not had a problem since. Pella has been very responsible to my needs and issues. The windows are beautiful and the quality is worth the expense.

1st rain we had there was major leaking at the bottom. They quickly came out and discovered the pieces on the bottom were not inserted so they fixed the problem. We've not had any problems since and have been very satisfied with the service and product.

The crew was punctual and professional and the work is high quality. Installation took close to a full day for both doors.

The window was installed on time and in good quality. However, the sales person didn't even bother to answer my emails and phone calls after the installation.

Horrible. The salesperson will promise everything, and they still owe me refund after 3 months, and never respond afterwards after the work is done. Looks like I may have to sue them to get my refund back. So think twice if you want to hire them. They will not respond after the work is performed.

They were okay. I am undecided as to whether I will use them again in the future. There weren't that clean when they installed the window and I think they left some oil or grease marks on some of the walls. I would tell someone who might use them to make sure they wash their hands before they start the job.

It was fair. It costed enough. They could have better communication. They make promises they couldn't deliver. They have inconsistent workers. I would get a quote from them. I wouldn't just call them directly. I'd compare.

It was real good. They did a good job. They are not cheap. They came in and measured everything, put it all together and it was done.

It was great. Just their personal care, they watched what they were doing. They took stuff out, carefully cleaned out well after themselves, followed up after everything was in. I had a question about how things handled, and they sent someone out to look at it.

It was my first time using the company and everything turned out very well. A crew of 4 came out and completed the job in about 10 hours. They had to completely cut out the frame for the installation. They were knowledgeable and did a good job. They were also professional and were hard workers. I had no difficulty scheduling the service. It does take about 1 month for them to install the door after you schedule the service. After they installed the door there was a tiny hole on the top of the door. It did take them about 2 weeks to call me back about that.

The service is okay. It's just that I've got a couple of windows that are leaking there. I wasn't really satisfied with them. Now, I had a different guy come out to install two french doors and did a great job. Those are great but I wasn't really satisfied with the windows. I wouldn't use them again in the future.

It was satisfactory. It could have been better but we were satisfied with them. We get a little bit of fogging up on the doors but other than that, the construction and quality of the work was excellent. It was very good. It was good quality work and we like them. It is just that the doors have shades in them in the main room on the double French doors and they fog up which I don't think they are supposed to do. It is when the sun first shines on them. It is likely up after the sun moves up and doesn't shine on them any more. The guy did excellent work and it was very good quality. The price was fair. I would consider using them again but I am thinking about a few companies because of the issue with the main double doors.

They turned out just fine. I had compared the price to some others and it was a fair price. The person sent out was very capable and it was done to my satisfaction. They are probably not the cheapest but they are very competitive. I would use them again without hesitation.

Installation was nice and everything is working great. We haven't had any problems at all. They are a little more expensive.

It was a very good installation. We had to have them come back to make an adjustment to the door and they did that. We were very pleased. I'm sure they were in the ballpark of other estimates we had. Everything about it was a good experience.

Their service was fine; they did an excellent job. They came back about 3 months later to replace one window. They were very well mannered and did a very good job.

Their service turned out very good; we have used them before. We had one window with a flaw, but it was replaced totally by them and they are actually the ones that said it had a flaw. So there was nothing we had to prove or anything. I appreciate that honesty. Their price is okay. They are expensive, but we know it.

It was wonderful. I would highly recommend them. The person that came, sized the windows and gave us the quote was outstanding. Their name was Maryann Steele. She worked with us the whole way.

Very professional, punctual. High quality product, but was priced out of my budget.

I had used Pella a few years ago to replace 5 windows, one door, and a sliding patio door. This project was just a trapezoid window replacement on the back bathroom. After submitting for an appointment online, I got a call to ask for a few more detail. Mariann was most helpful and was the one coming for the initial measurement and price quote. She discussed with me different options and I was surprised to learn that it was less expensive than I expected. In prior quotes I think I was told it could be about 2,000 to replace the window, but was told that with the discounts being offered a clad windows would be 1,400 or 700 for a vinyl frame. Since the warranty was the same, same energy efficiency, and it was a window high on the wall I went with the vinyl. I placed the deposit of 50% and had a precise measurement appointment two weeks later This later appointment took only 5 minutes of my time, so was surprised about that. It may be inconvenient but I guess the salesperson cannot always perform the duties of full measurement specially if it is a window 8 feet off the ground. Installation day came and was performed quickly by a two person work crew. They were polite cleaned after themselves and did a beautiful job. They told me that it was a very hard job to remove the old window due to the silicone used and it certainly sounded like a demolition work. I only wished that Pella would do the paint job, as there is trim wood used on the outside and any other touch ups that may be needed. Otherwise it is a beautiful job and the bathroom is now not cold as before. It will certainly made a difference.

First visit went fine. After that, response was increasingly slow. All communication after first visit was by email. Responses were seldom correct and complete. No follow up by the provider. No interest at all after not signing an agreement on first visit. Will not do business with Pella in the future.

The estimate for the doors was quite expensive as it seems they do not primarily do door work. Their service was excellent. They do have a pressure component in their sales. The person who came out was professional.

The saleswoman Lindsey, was great and on top of things in the beginning. We waited 7 weeks for them to design and order our doors. As soon as I opened the door for the installers, everything went down hill. The project manager did not think they had the double doors that we had ordered, but it turned out they were just not in yet. That was just a bad start. It seemed like everything was an inconvenience to him. The next day, they came in to install the front door. They told me they had messed up the measurements, and would have to go back to reorder the transom. They said it would be several weeks before the project would be finished. I also got a flat tire because they had dropped a dead bolt lock in our driveway and I backed over it. They did pay for the tire, but it caused me a great deal of inconvenience. They did not provide quality customer service. The quality of their product is great, but the service is horrible.
