+ -1 moreI called a computer service company in the phone book and they recommended Mr. Houck. I bought a new desk top computer and printer and they needed to be set up, some software installed, everything connected. He obviiously knew what he was doing and did it confidentially and well. When he left, the computer was ready to go and I was able to just sit down and use it. At this point, there are some things I need to figure out how to do like back up, clean up the viruses, figure out why the identified viruses won't go in the virus vault (it appears the D drive has filled up with some files that shouldn't be there). I have a whole list for him, including the fact that it won't connect to the network and hasn't for some time - but I couldn't remember his name until I saw it on this site.
Description of Work: I had just bought a computer and Mr. Houck came to the house and installed whatever was needed. I am absolutely not a technical person and was helpless to get it started. He worked hard, quietly, efficiently, and when he was done, he gave me a bill based on t he hourly rate we had agreed on. I am going to call him again shortly to "clean up" the machine as it has problems that need to be addressed.

+ -1 moreThere has never been a time that he has disappointed us. He will check things out before he even bills us to make sure we are satisfied. He is always spending so much time when he is here and doesn't even always charge all his hours.
Description of Work: We discovered Paul about 5 or 6 years ago. He comes to the house and repairs all of our computers. He usually can get there that day or the next. He has helped fix broken computers, viruses, load on new programs... Anything you need.
