NOLAN'S INSPECTIONS LLC

As a first-time home buyer, I didn't think that I would need an inspection on a new build. Now I know that you should always get a home inspection before buying! Nolan created a meticulous report that included mechanical, structural and cosmetic flaws of the new house. The report even included photographs of many of the problem areas. We presented the report to the builder, and he agreed to fix most of the flaws before move-in. Very pleased!

Nolan was AMAZING- he took his time and went over EVERY detail of the house. He showed us how to complete some projects and what repairs would be needed as well. His report was over 30 pages and had many details that we would have never even noticed or thought of- AMAZING inspector and I recommend him to anyone!!!!

Nolan was great!! We knew we would be overseas when our house was being built and as such we wanted to meet with inspectors during a visit to Texas before we hired one. A number of inspectors would not meet without us and Nolan was one of the few who was willing to meet with us free of charge. Initially, he was unavailable due to our tight time frame. However, once I explained that I really wanted him to complete the inspections he rearranged his schedule to accomodate us. His reports were very detailed and thorough. It was challenging as we were overseas but he was very understanding and worked with us. He returned all my calls after normal business hours due to the time difference. We were new to the process and he was very patient with us. He took the time to explain the contents of his report to ensure we understood everything. He explained what was normal and what we should be concerned about. I would definitely recommend Nolan to anyone who is looking for a great home inspector. We will be using him again for our 1 year inspection.

Nolan and I scheduled to meet at the house at 9am. When I pulled up in front of the house at 8:45 (I'm habitually early), Nolan had already been there 20 minutes, let himself in and started the inspection. He was VERY thorough, spending about five hours to inspect the 3,000SF house. He took several digital photos and made notes on his laptop as he went. After finishing an area, he would call me in and review the issues he identified, making sure I understood them. Nolan also was very helpful in that he gave me the details of the standard of practice, but then also explained the issues in the context of what he had seen at other houses in the same area, of the same age/style, etc. This was very helpful in determining what we needed to address with the seller right away vs. what we could handle on our own after moving in. I highly recommend Nolan's work.

Nolan didn't disappoint. He was on time, professional, and very thorough. Although he may charge a little more than some other inspectors, it was an excellent value. He spent the necessary time to cover every aspect of the home and insured my client was fully aware of what he was getting into - about double the time of most other inspectors. And to top it off - he is a really nice guy with a great attitude who will spend the necessary time to fully explain his findings. If you are looking for a highly competent, trustworthy, and professional inspector, I highly recommend Nolan's Inspections and won't hesitate to refer my future clients.

I was present for the inspection. Inspector was punctual, through and presented me with a detailed report via e-mail the evening of the inspection. Digital pictures of discrepancies were included in the report. This facilitated negotiation of discrepancies between buyer/seller so contract could be finalized during 7 day window. Furthermore, for $150, Mr Kienitz did a follow-up, prior to closing to ensure that all was in order. I was especially grateful for this, as we closed from 1400 miles away.

Nolan showed up exactly on time and went to work right away. He is very professional and very courteous. He was very thorough in his inspection and paid attention to every detail. I was there during the whole inspection and he went above and beyond what I expected to point out potential problems, explain everything he was doing and gave me good tips on possible improvements. He had initially planned to spend around 3 hours but ended spending more than 4 hours. I received a detailed report with pictures and his recommendation the same day.
