Nielsen's Remodeling

It went very well. Nielsen is such a professional as are all of his employees. They are very talented at what they do and work to ensure everything is perfect and the customers are always satisfied. We have been using Nielsen since we moved to Dallas and would recommend him without reservation. He really does care about his customers and they know it.

They did an excellent job. They arrived on time completed the job very neatly and professionally. I could not even tell where the previous holes were in the walls. I would highly recommend this company and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Nielsen and his team have done major (repaint 5 rooms of home)?and minor work for me - ?this time it was the latter but both times they have done a fantastic job. ?He's always responsive, attentive to detail, and wants happy customers. ?As someone who has owned multiple homes through the years and worked with many painters, he's my guy and?I would highly recommend him and his team.

Everything was superb. We were so pleased with the work. Not only was the job done professionally but Nielson's team was personable, helpful and extremely patient. Thanks to Nielson the doors in my home look fabulous. We were unsure about the choice of color for the doors and walls. Neilson was so patient and helpful. He worked with us until we identified the best color. Everything turned out great. Plus, it was all done on schedule. I look forward to painting more rooms with Neilson and his exceptional staff. .

Nielsen said he could have guys out within 1-2 days, compared to other providers who said it would be at least a week or more. Team of 3 guys showed up early and got to work taping and prepping both work spaces and then one painter stayed to complete the job. Work was finished by that afternoon and he did a really fantastic job in both rooms. Asked several times for me to look around the rooms for areas needing touch ups. He did a great job of cleaning up both spaces and helped move furniture back, etc. Will definitely use again!

Nielsen and his crew were just great. They also did additional touchup work that I found. A crew of 3 were working diligently for 2 full days. I couldn't be more pleased. And I will definitely use them again.

Nielsen is great - he provided us options without overloading us with too much information, took care of getting everything ordered, kept us up-to-date on order delivery dates and impact on project, always returned texts and calls promptly, pays close attention to details, and inspects all work closely. We had same people come work very day (except for 2 days where additional crew members came in to help texture walls) which I liked since this was a multi week project and I work from home. Everyone was professional, on time, and courteous. I appreciated that they were careful to not let the dog out and they tried to minimize the dust. This was our first major remodel of our house - we have more remodeling plans and we will use Nielsen for all future work.

Amazing communication. Nielsen was always responsive via text messages anytime I had a question. Very timely. The project took less than 2 days like he initially projected. Very polite crew who made adjustments and took our recommendations as we oversaw the work being done and executed them to our liking. Very reasonably priced, quote was several thousand dollars less than another company for the same work. Will absolutely call Nielsen again for any future work.

Nielsen was very professional and responsive. He provided me with a quote and altered it based on the specific work we wanted completed. His team arrived when scheduled, worked quickly, and finished in less than the estimated time. Nielsen came by afterward to ensure everything was done to our satisfaction. We had no problems or concerns with him.

Fantastic company. I needed a bedroom and hallway painted, and some trim touched up. They called me back right away, gave me a great quote, and even worked me into the schedule the next day. Due to a poor texture job which had left uneven edges, I also had them paint the ceilings and they did a great job creating nice, even lines. I had a crew of 3 people all day. They were very clean and took their time. All painting was done with rollers and brushes. Very satisfied and I plan to use them in the future.

Last year we hired Nielsen to repaint the interior of our house. His estimate was in the middle of the pack in terms of price point. My wife and I have lived with his work for over a year and are still as pleased today as we were after they completed the job. During the entire process Nielsen was attentive to all our needs, prompt in returning our calls, and once the work started at every step of the process he made sure that we were happy with and understood the scope of the work. Prior to hiring Nielsen we reached out to several contractors. Some did not even return our calls and others expressed their concerns over how difficult the job was going to be because of the height of the ceilings. Nielsen looked at the house, took some measurements, spent time talking to us about our tastes, color selections, and overall expectations for the finished product. The high ceilings were not an issue for Nielsen's crew. When it came time to work in the high areas of the house he brought in his very clean and well kept scaffolding on wheels. His crew was able to move around to all the difficult places with ease and in a very safe environment. Ironically, the shutter installers were here at the same time and borrowed his scaffolding to install the shutters in all the high window areas. As he would conduct his walkthroughs if he saw a minor flaw that was not visible to us, he would still instruct his crew to redo that section. Overall we were extremely pleased with Nielsen's professionalism, price point, attention to detail, supervision, and follow up after the job was done. Working with Nielsen and his team was a great experience. We highly recommend that you consider his company when you have a need for his services.

First of all they were on time and finished the job in one day. They did beautiful work and were meticulous with their cleanup. Neilson personally came by to check the work before the work was finished and he called me the next day to make sure I was completely satisfied. I will definitely hire them again!

All work was done according to estimate, and attention paid by workers and supervisor(Nielsen himself). Mr. Nielsen did final walk through after job to make sure that I was satisfied.

I was thoroughly impressed by Nielsen and his crew. Nielsen came in and gave me a very fair quote for painting several rooms in my house. His crew members were very professional. They showed up on time and finished on time. The work that they did was impeccable. They kept the area very tidy while they worked, and there was absolutely no clean up on my part. I get so many compliments on each of the rooms. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give them a 10. I plan on using them in several more rooms, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a painter in this area.

We used Nielsen's services to paint all the ceilings in our new build home in 2014. Our builder recently did repairs on our great room ceiling, and the painters they provided were unable to provide the quality of work we originally had received from Nielsen. We contracted with him to repaint the great room ceiling and do some accent painting in our home. We also were going to use his company to install crown molding in our guest suite, but his carpenter moved away before the job could be started. Nielsen didn't have someone else he felt could do the job, so we can't comment on the quality of the carpentry work his company provides. The painters (Luis and Juan) arrived at our home on schedule and stayed on task. Their workmanship was impeccable, and any small detail we mentioned was immediately addressed. They were here three days, and they always left our home looking neat when they left for the day. They worked quietly, were polite, and let us know when they were taking lunch breaks. Nielsen stopped by each day to monitor the progress and answer any questions we might have. Nielsen price quotes are a little higher on the jobs we have used him for, but the quality of his painters' work makes us hesitant to risk going with a less expensive painter. We would definitely use Nielsen's Painting for any future painting needs!

Everything went very well. Painter came in, took care of business in a very professional manner. Painter was friendly and informative. Nielsen came by at the end of the job to review the painter's work, asked if there was anything that I needed redone. Informed me that if I came across anything that needed improving to give him a call and he would take care of it. Loved the service! Great provider. Will definitely use again for additional home improvements.

Nielsen and crew were prompt, professional and expert in every way. It was a pleasure working with them. Nielsen met with us several evenings and made sure we were happy with work. Helped with color selections and even gave us advice on avoiding making our house color on the exterior from looking "sad" (too dark)! He was spot on and I would definitely recommend / use him again!!

Excellent service! After contacting the owner he called me back promptly even though it was New Year's Eve. He showed up on time to do a walk-through to discuss the project and scope. He was prompt in giving me a quote and scheduling the work when it was convenient for me. There was a 3 person paint crew and they finished up ahead of schedule. Neilsen also allowed me to have a painter to come back and touch-up any paint they may have missed since there was a lot of surface area that needed to be touched up. He was also incredibly nice to pick something up at the hardware store for us while he was out getting additional paint. He followed up to make sure everything was completed to my liking. I would highly recommend this company for your next project! He and his crew did a excellent job.

A good quality job. Would use them again. Not much to write about as everything went smoothly.

We remodeled the kitchen and three other rooms in our house. We had another painter we had used before do the other rooms first. While the work was OK, we were not confident he had the skills to do the kitchen. Neilson was recommended by our decorator. We had him remove the popcorn from the ceiling, remove a light box, make extensive wall repairs due to a cabinet removal, paint the cabinets (inside and out), and repaint the walls and ceiling. He worked well with other contractors, coordinating their work. While he cost a little more, his work was outstanding! It's been a year since this was done, and it still looks like new (indicating he used good material and painting techniques). We were so pleased, we also had him return and redecorate a half bath.

Professional in every way. Work was on time and all work was completed in detail. They never took a short cut to save time. We were verey happy with the way the work was done and the final product was excellent.

We hired Nielsen after interviewing 3 different painters. His bid came back very fair and his suggestions were great! We did a very extensive remodel on a new purchase home. They spent 2 weeks repairing various drywall issues from demo, rebuilding trim on doors, and painting almost every surface! They did amazing work! Nielsen is a perfectionist, and it shows in his work! After his first part was done, the rest of the contractors came in. After all of that, Nielsen came back for touch ups. He also did some extra work we needed done at a very fair price! I am still so happy with the quality, professionalism, and beauty of his and his crew's work!!! We will be using Nielsen for ANY future paint project we need!!!
