Melendez Foundation Repair

This company is ran by a bunch of crooks they steal your money and do a horrible job then they give a worthless certificate “lifetime” but never answer their phone calls! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

Did most of the work, would not come back to fix the area that was done incorrect. Always had an excuse about not showing up. Have warranty that is worthless. My advice stay clear of this company.

He did a fabulous job. His price was very moderate.

After dealing with a contractor who wasn't providing the services agreed to in his contract, we decided to part ways mid-job. His team ended up walking off the job because I was too diligent in making sure the service provided is what we agreed to in our contract and it wasn't (don't use Dura-Tech). So I was left with 10 empty holes that needed piers and 21 that still needed to be leveled and checked to make sure they were pressed to the appropriate depth. I got Mr. Frank Melendez's name from a neighbor that had used him. After my neighbors satisfaction with him I decided to give him a call. From what I understand, he previously had worked for a larger foundation repair company and gotten fired for doing jobs outside of their business. So he did have foundation background, but not sure of how much or how long. Mr. Melendez came over to the house to see what needed to be done and started work a couple days later. His team worked Friday and Saturday to finish up the unfinished job that was left. Mr. Melendez's team rechecked all the prior piers from the other company- pressing some that weren't to the correct dept in. His team finished the piers and leveled the house. Mr. Melendez is also going to warranty the other company's work after checking the piers they had pressed. He was very accomodating on keeping the same type of piers the other company was suppose to be installing. He said and quot;You tell me what you want us to do and we will do it that way.and quot; He was fair in his pricing, very knowledgable if I had questions and had a team of about 6-7 guys that worked for him- not subcontractors. At first I was a little apprehensive because he is a little hard to contact and verify times with- but he did what he said and showed up when he said he would. I'm sure this is because he runs, schedules and takes all the calls himself and it is just him and his team doing the work. BUT hopefully after this review he will have lots of new customers and he can hire someone to help him out with that aspect of his business. He also need a website for internet traffic, but all businesses take time to get going. Mr. Melendez seems like a honest man who does honest work, I hope he continues to do business like that because the world needs as many people like that as it can have.
