Very quick to come measure and quote. Took a while to schedule. But they did a great job once they finally came and did the work. The color match was much better than what they removed too.

We just moved into our home and the pool inspector told us our in-ground pool needed a new mastic joint seal in order to prevent water damage below the surface. I researched a few companies online, made a few calls, and decided on Master Mastic. Brian and Michelle were extremely helpful in describing their company's experience and approach, including a detailed description of the mastic product they use, the maintenance, the life expectancy, etc. Brian gave me a courtesy call the day before to remind me of the appointment and the expected work time. The crew was prompt and professional and went beyond their scope of work (helped me remove a lock for which the key had been lost and gave me suggestions on how to remove grease stains from our deck). They also came in below their original estimate. I highly recommend Master Mastic to anyone needing this type of work.

So this was an interesting process. Through Angie's list I got about 5 quotes and they grouped with almost a $1000 between groups. I chose Master Mastic as they seemed per Angie's list to do a good job and the people with the higher end pricing said it was overhead. We have had a wet spring in Texas so it took a long time to get this done. I would get calls saying we can come at 6 pm. I said I wanted a scheduled time. Finally got one. They were punctual and ready to go. What I was not prepared for was the amount of follow up clean up you have to do. I had been told to go ahead by Master to get my stone cleaned and sealed which I did and not that work is shot. The soot is going to take many power washings to remove. I am so glad they came on Friday so i have the weekend to work on it. The windows which were just cleaned are needing to be redone There is sand in the pool and just sand everywhere. Spent about 2.5 hours cleaning up and would guess I need to do several more times. We will see what the pool guys say. The actual work looks good- regular sand color as opposed to the color of the rest of my flagstone will blend more overtime I am sure. I am not sure if the more expensive guys would have cleaned and done a better job of matching but just know to ask what clean up they do. I really did not expect the mess on the windows, the fence which is not even close. Needless to say the fine dust comes into the house as well.

Brian is awesome! He brings a crew, knocks it out and the end result looks wonderful! I can't say anything negative.

on 6.19 I requested a refund and to cancel my order as I haven't been given any information from provider since 6.14. poor communication and follow-up.

Scheduling was a bit of a problem initially because of the rain. And when I contacted them after the bad weather pattern had passed, I was told I had been "put on the schedule" without being asked it that date would work for me. I believe scheduling communication could be better. Scheduling issues aside, I am very pleased with the work that was done. It looks very nice.

They did a great job. The B on responsiveness had to do with the rain putting them behind, but they still should have reached out to communicate that to me. Overall, great experience.

Excellent job! I don't think I could have received better quality work. The price was very good, and the service was punctual. I was considering doing this myself, but I am glad I used Mister Mastic, and I would definitely use them again.

Brian made sure we were taken care of with the weather not cooperating. His crew had everything in place in less than an hour. It didn't take any additional care after they left. For a small extra amount he took care of a driveway joint that had fallen apart since the driveway was poured back in 2000. I couldn't be happier with the finished product.

The work looks great. They even did some extra mastic between our decking and house. Would use this company again.

This is the third time I have used Master Mastic. The first time was the installation of my pool, the second to renew the mastic around my pool. We did not hesitate to call them to seal the joints in our driveway. They do excellent work and we would hire them again.

Showed up as scheduled and got to work immediately. Within an hour or so they were done (4 man crew) and the job looked great! Cured overnight and I have had no issues at all. I will definitely use them again when its time!

Brian (the owner) and his crew showed up promptly at the time and date agreed upon, and were ready to get to work. Brian is very personable and we had some good conversation when he wasn't working, himself. He had told me the day before that he was willing to move about 500 lbs of existing dirt that was piled on my pool decking prior to starting the pressure washing (at no extra charge), but I decided to do it myself the night before. I was impressed that he even offered to do that! He also offered just to check and see if a 25 square foot rust stain on my front sidewalk could be cleaned, since I told him that I had tried to remove it but could not (the work I was paying him for was only in the back of my house). After he and his crew left, I noticed that he had totally cleaned the rust stain on the sidewalk! He did not charge for that. Pardon the rhyme, but the mastic came out fantastic! They used a self-leveling mastic and poured sand over it, which adhered to the surface to give it a longer life and help it blend into the concrete aggregate around it. The only thing I had to do the next day is vacuum up the excess sand with a Shop-Vac. They worked very efficiently and did a great job of cleaning up. I am also very impressed with the sealed flagstone, rocks, and aggregate. The water just beads up on them and the semi-gloss "wet- look" is a nice touch. This was my first time to have any work done on the mastic or surfaces around my pool, and I am very pleased with the outcome, as well as the price. Brian went well above and beyond what I have experienced from contractors in the past. I highly recommend Master Mastic!

It was okay. It took a while to coordinate a day, had multiple delays and reschedules. They arrived and did the work. The workman didn't see/talk to me after they were done, just left.

They did a fantastic job. Came when they said they would. Lower-end of pricing with no surprises at the end of the job. Color matches very well. If you are going to get your mastic replaced, call these guys and if they are in the average range on price, use them. Very professional - - all around VERY satisfied.

I had this company do the mastic around our pool 3 years ago and they did such a good job then that I wanted to use them again. I called and left a message and they called me back in a reasonable amount of time to schedule the job. Actually, I think I missed their first call back and then they called me again and said they could come out the next day, which was perfect. Plus they charged me the same amount per foot that they did 3 years ago since I was a repeat customer. I didn't need to be at home. Just needed to leave the gate open. It looks great and will use them again in the future.

This is a husband and wife company and they do very well. They are really nice people. They also do concrete stuff as well. I am glad they fixed this for me. At first, I had no clue what mastic was so they could have totally taken advantage of me and they did not. I am very thankful for that. They were very honest. They could have made lots of money off of me because I did not know what it was.

MICHELE CAME FOR A FREE ESTIMATE THE DAY AFTER I CALLED AND SCHEDULED MY APPOINTMENT FOR A FEW DAYS LATER. SHE WAS UNDERSTANDING AND HELPFUL WHEN I NEEDED TO RESCHEDULE. BRIAN KNOCKED ON MY DOOR TO LET ME KNOW HE WAS WORKING AND TO ADVISE AGAINST USING THE POOL FOR 24 HOURS AND THEN WENT TO WORK WITHOUT DISTURBING ME AGAIN. HE WAS FAST AND THE JOINTS AROUND MY POOL LOOK GREAT. I COMPARED PRICES AND THEY WERE THE BEST I FOUND.
