Recently, we engaged the services of Marott Contactors Inc. based on Angie?s List reviews. We would like to take this opportunity to relate our personal experience. From our initial meeting and beyond the Owner, Scott Strock was patient, thorough and knowledgeable. He took time to answer questions, explain options, worked with us to make it affordable and fit the job into our schedule. Our project was a Kitchen remodel including complete replacement of the existing cabinets. There is no doubt; Scott?s efforts and professionalism were responsible for making our relationship and improvements to our home a pleasant transaction. Marott Contractor?s provided a high quality craftsman product tailored to fit our expectations. The effort, energy and commitment Scott provided for the work on our home falls in the above and beyond category. Each member of Scott?s staff was on time, polite, efficient and truly talented craftsman. They clearly took their work seriously and it shows in the finished product. We consistently found Scott?s staff to be sincere and straight forward in all dealings. Because of these fine qualities, I am confident we will work together again. We look forward to working with Marott Contractor?s again, it?s refreshing to work with a company that performs at the level they say they will. After being scammed by another contractor who put boxes in and took our money and never finished, Scott came in and moved his schedule around to get us cabinets. We had been out of a kitchen for over 6 months. The cost was really high but after reading the reviews we decided to ahead. The cabinets are beautiful. We learned a few things like to make sure to get the measurements for the bathroom so the mirrors could have been centered over the sinks but we can live with that. The negative on the whole thing was that the lights above and below the kitchen cabinets which were very expensive also do not work. It has been almost six months and they still have not fixed them. We finally gave up and fixed them without them. We paid all that money and didn't get the job done on the lights. I called a few times and keep getting told they have ordered a part but seriously they could have gotten a part from another country by now. Overall the service and the guys were wonderful and the cabinets are really nice but paying for lights and then having to fix them ourselves was disappointing.

Scott is the owner. He is meticulous, punctual, reliable, and we could not have asked for better work. He perfectly matched the new cabinets he created with the existing cabinetry (paint and style)

Scott and his team did an excellent job in every regard. They were always on-time, on schedule, on budget and very professional. They left their work area very clean after each day's work. They also provided great ideas to improve our original plans. They far exceeded our expectations which were high to start with. They are totally customer-focused. We recently had a slab leak that ruined 30' of the trim. Scott was immediately available and replaced the damaged trim with perfectly stained new trim. I highly recommend Marott Contractors to anyone seeking the highest quality work, performed in a very professional manner and at a very fair price.

Since posting on Angie's List, Scott got in contact with us, apologized for not following up and has since been very responsive. We are scheduled to meet with him again this week to move forward with our project of re-building our family room built-ins and quoting us on re-facing our kitchen cabinets. It's been more than 3 weeks since our appointment. We have followed up with Scott several times via email and voice messages and have never received a response, an estimate, or even a courtesy call to let us know he can't do the work. We are quite surprised by this lack of customer service, given the size/scope of this job, and his glowing reviews on Angies List.

I contacted Scott Stock with Marott Contractors for replacement cabinet doors and drawer fronts for several rooms in our home. He provided pricing for different cabinet styles and wood types. I wasn't sure if I wanted a shaker-style or raised panel cabinet doors, so Scott built me a sample door for me in each style to consider and dropped them off for me to 'live with' for awhile. I ordered raised-panel solid ash wood door fronts for my living room built-in cabinets. I asked for them to be installed unfinished so that my own painter could finish them (rather than have him paint them in his shop). No problem, Scott was happy to do this small job for me. Scott is a master carpenter, a good salesman, provided a great product at a fair price, and he was always quick replying to email and phone calls. The doors were installed yesterday - they look terrific - I love the self-closing new hinges. I hadn't selected knobs or handles yet - so he provided a template to help me painter line up the drill holes once I selected my hardware. I will definitely call Marot Contractors for other replacement cabinet doors and drawers in my home. Thanks Scott!

Scott and his team were great. He was personable, timely, and patient. He always returned phone calls, and maintained schedules. Since this my first time doing a cabinet/pantry modification, I was nervous and apprehensive. This was a great experience. Initially, I wanted pullout shelving in my pantry and pullout drawers in my lower cabinets (I was tired of lying on the floor get pots and pans). I say initially, because Scott came out and gave me a quote. He came with a portfolio of his work, which was wonderful, because I was able to visualize what he thought would work for me. His ideas were better than what I thought I wanted. What he could do would give me much more space than I originally had. He told me that he would be able to give me a timeline once we signed the contract. A week or so later, I called him and said I wanted to make a couple of changes, and believe it or not, he showed no signs of frustration. I told him what I wanted over the phone, and he was able to visualize, what I wanted. I forgot to mention that I spoke with a contractor prior to Scott, and was told that one portion of my project could not be done. Scott was able to do it PERFECTLY. This was to add a door to a dead space on my bathroom cabinets. I have not been able to access this space without having to take everything out of the cabinet for 7 years. Now all I have to do is open a door on the end of the cabinet and everything I need is right there. He matched the stain perfectly. He also added platforms to the tops of my upper cabinets so that dust won't collect in that area. My pantry is the best, but I love it all. As for price; since this was my 1st experience, I would say it was expensive, but after speaking with friends who have had cabinet modifications and remodels, his pricing is right on point. I would most definitely use Marott Contractors again. As a matter of fact, I have my next project in mind.

We had a unique situation with an existing bookcase like structure that we wanted re-modeled to fit our needs. Scott was very helpful and gave us some ideas and options to consider. Once we made our decisions Scott and his team arrived on time on the scheduled day to begin the work. We had projected the re-model to take one day however there were some finishing details that needed to be added so Scott and team arrived on time on the second day to finish the work. We really appreciated Scott's attention to detail and felt he went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the end result....and we were!!! Scott and his team definitely know what they are doing and are true craftsmen. I will definitely use them in the future for any cabinet or bookcase needs!

I CALLED AROUND LOOKING FOR A CONTRACTORS WITH A REASONABLE PRICE. FOR TWO DAYS, I COULDN'T FIND ANYONE. SO I WENT ON ANGIE LIST AND FOUND MAROTT CONTRACTORS. I DECIDED TO CALL THAT VERY SAME DAY AND SCOTT WERE THE ONE I SPOKE TO. WE SCHEDULED A DATE FOR SCOTT TO COME OUT TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE, WHICH HIS PRICE TURNED OUT TO BE REASONABLE. AFTER A COUPLE OF OTHER BIDS, MY WIFE AND I AGREED ON MAROTT CONTRACTORS. ALSO, INSTEAD OF I HAVE TO CALL TO CHECK ON THE STATUS, SCOTT WOULD BE THE ONE WHO CALL TO KEEP ME UPDATED ON MY CABINETS. I THOUGHT WOW, THAT WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL OF HIM. THE CABINET ONLY TOOK TWO DAYS AND IT WAS DONE. AT FIRST, WE WERE PRETTY WORRIED ABOUT THE OUTCOME, BUT NOPE THE OUTCOME WAS AMAZING! WE DID NOT FIND A SINGLE FLAW. MY KITCHEN CAME FROM OK TO WOW! SCOTT AND HIS TEAM WERE GREAT, THEY DID SUCH A GREAT JOB. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR QUALITY WORK AND GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND MAROTT CONTRACTORS TO WHOEVER NEEDS THEIR KITCHEN REFACE. From start to finish it was excellent. Scott came and took the measurements and was pleasant and helpful. He gave me an approximate date it would be completed and called along the way with updates. One call was even to say the construction cost less so the bill would be less. Mark came to install. He was prompt, thorough ,kind and clean. It was a fantastic experience and quality work. I love my new pull outs. I would use them again.

We were pleased with Scott, the owner of the Co. He came himself and showed how the system works. He is backed logged which indicates to me that others are happy with his services and he offered to contact previous customers and get their permission for us to contact them.(respecting their privacy). We have decided to go to him after the first of the year and sign a contract for cabinet refacing and new granite counters.

Scott, the owner of Marott Contractors was a true professional throughout the process. When we initially contacted Marott, Scott came out to our home and spent quality time going through the approach they take, showed us multiple options and gave us high level pricing. Marott makes new cabinets and also does refacing. Due to the quality of the interior of our cabinets, Scott recommended refacing vs. new cabinets. By leveraging this approach, we were able to save significant dollars while still achieving a high quality product. We had several more discussions with Scott before making a decision and each time he was prompt in his response, never tried to pressure a decision and was extremely helpful. Once we made a decision to proceed, Scott came back out and spent significant time with us in selecting the type and finish of the cabinets. Through this process, he was very patient and effectively showed us multiple options and explained the pros and cons of each. Once we made our selection and began the process, Scott contacted us on a weekly basis to let us know the status of our job and the projected installation date. Once installation began, Scott and his crew did an excellent job of installing the new cabinets. They insured that the work exceeded our expectations. The refacing job looked outstanding and the new island cabinets were very well constructed. The final product exceeds my expectations. The quality of his workmanship is incredible. It is much superior to any of the competitors that we evaluated and once installed looked even better than we ever expected. We are exceptionally pleased that we took advantage of refacing the cabinets. Scott and his team were professional, responsive and patient throughout the process. I would highly recommend Marott for either new cabinet construction/installation or refacing cabinets.

We converted our old colonial-style cabinets to the shaker style. Marott did not have the lowest price out of the 3 bids; but we were impressed by Scott Stock's knowledge of the all the intricacies of applying new facings and with his description of all the various techniques that he and his installers use to create a like-new appearance with a straight-from-the-factory look and style. In addition we appreciated all the suggestions that he had for "completing" the job with items that we had not considered. Scott was even able to offer a variety of tinting for the finishes that we chose. His hardware choices were pretty complete. After taking all the measurements, they completed most of the work in their shop and took only a couple of days of on-site application. We accommodated the work by moving our cars out of the garage during the daytime so they could "set up shop" in our garage. Marott brings all the materials and construction essentials in a trailer which they parked in our driveway. I'm still not sure how they got everything in that trailer. Everything fit to a "T." Apart from the craftmanship on the cabinets themselves, the primary distinguishing feature of Marott's work is the project management which is top notch. I guess, actually, that is equal to the overall professionalism and courtesy. The obvious down side to this type of project is the loss of full use of the kitchen for a few days. We were able to access the kitchen and use the sink, stove, and microwave oven and, of course, make the morning coffee. We paid the standard half down and the remainder after we were satisfied with whole job. After Scott said it was done, though, we had no issues to address. Even after it was a "done deal," Scott followed up by phone to see how we liked it. It looks like brand new cabinets. We couldn't be happier.

Honestly it couldn't have gone more smoothly. Scott, the owner, was present the entire time supervising the project plus working with his team. They put down protection for our floors to bring in the new cabinets prior to installation. We will be redoing our cabinets in our kitchen and doing a redesign. There is no doubt we will call Scott and his team for any work we have in the future. The cabinets we had were builder grade--these are quality cabinets!

Scott provided excellent service. He is professional, friendly and responsive. Scott is an artist. He showed creativity and imagination in helping to work through certain engineering issues in our request. The completed cabinet is beautiful and installed with precision. His pricing is elevated to reflect the level of his work. We chose to pay the higher price of his quote to receive this excellent level of work, and we would make the same choice again. We highly recommend Scott and Marott Contractors.

Marott Construction had done a kitchen remodel for me two years ago, so I did not hesitate to call Scott when I needed to fit a new refrigerator into a space that was several inches too short. I was confident that he could make it happen!. When I explained the problem to Scott, he checked his paperwork from the work he had done in my kitchen earlier and assured me that he could modify the cabinet to give me the extra space I needed. After the new doors were built, his crew completed the modification in less than two hours and nobody but me will ever know that anything was changed. The new doors look exactly like the ones that were replaced. His crew was very polite and moved my refrigerator and connected the water line when they finished.

The finished work was beautiful and the quality of craftsmanship was superb. Scott was prompt in showing up for the original estimate and he kept me informed during the manufacturing process. Our goal of having all the cabinetry built and installed before our move-in date was met with days to spare. I asked for quality and Scott and his people delivered. The professionalism was noticeable from day-one and the final furniture products exceeded my expectations. Great job, guys!

Choosing Marott Construction, Inc. to work on our kitchen make-over was the best decision we made for the project. And we would not hesitate to use them again. Having never done a major home-improvement before, we were a bit nervous about taking on the floor-to-ceiling update of our very 1980's kitchen (think 28-year old wallpaper, linoleum floor and a range that literally hung from the old countertop). Over many months we sought advice from lots of different sources, attended a home show, and secured multiple bids on everything we intended to change. When it came time to select a cabinet re-facer, we kept coming back to how impressed we had been with Scott from Marrot whom we had initially met almost a year earlier at the Fort Worth Home and Garden Show. A huge plus to using Marott was that they are local ! Not only would Scott himself make the new cabinet doors, drawer fronts and new drawers in his local workshop (other companies we talked to sent the specs to an out-of-state manufacturer to be made and then shipped the finished pieces back to Texas), but he would actually be on-site with his own crew for the installation. That was a major benefit to going with Marott. We ultimately decided to contract with Marott to do the cabinet re-facing, and to build 4 new under-the-counter drawers in space that had previously been cabinets. We also had them do our granite countertops and install a tile backsplash. Scott suggested other small touches that made all the difference in how updated our new kitchen looks (for example, we had enough granite to add a granite window sill over the sink). All the work crews were on-time and knew what they were doing. Scott was on-site with each crew for part or all of their work. We had great communication throughout the entire job, from the initial bid proposal and the signing of the contract through the completion of the work. Being newbies to the remodeling world we had tons of questions. Scott was easy to reach and addressed our concerns & questions as they came up. At one point before the install of the new cabinetry, he made a quick trip to the house to move one of the existing cabinets an inch to the right to accommodate our new stove. And the routine updates he gave us during the three weeks or so that he did his shop work for our job really helped us to plan other work we were having done. The actual on-site work at our house lasted from Monday thru Thursday as planned. What a difference 4 days made ! We are excited about the new look of our kitchen. Overall it was a surprisingly smooth process. We highly recommend Marrot for the high quality of their work as well as for their reliability and honesty. The craftsmanship and attention to detail really show !

We love our new kitchen and the team that made it happen (Scott, Mark and Steve)! Thank you for all your hard work! We met Scott in January 2014 at the Las Colinas Home Show. We set up an appointment for him to come to our home for an estimate on our kitchen remodel. He was prompt, very professional, very knowledgeable and explained everything we needed to know to get our process started. He explained things to us that we did not know and had never thought about since this was our first kitchen project. After our first meeting we called Scott with more questions. He always answered his phone and was very kind, sincere and there was never any pressure, which was very important to us. We did have another company come out, from the same home show, to give us another estimate. They were very pushy and not very cooperative. That salesman wanted us to sign up that day. The discounts he offered were good only "while he was at the house". He was a 'salesman' and did not instill confidence. Scott, on the other hand, was the owner of his company. He told us everything he would do, promised he would be on the job with his team, was very accomodating to our needs and most important he was very honest! He had so many good ideas for us to consider. We wanted to keep our cabinet boxes. Scott, Mark and Steve removed all doors and prepared the cabinets for refacing and for the installation of the new wooden doors they made. They built a new drawer around our new double oven and built three new drawers where only fake fronts had been. They enclosed our microware to be flush with the cabinets. They repurposed a built in desk with two large drawers for small appliances and removed two small drawers and replaced them with a cabinet for the heavy KitchenAid mixer. They also repurposed the cabinet over the oven with raised dividers to hold cookie sheets, etc. while still giving us a shelf under the dividers. Scott also installed pull-out glider shelves/drawers in our pantry and made three (under countertop) pull-out cutting boards. Scott, Mark and Steve were a great team working together to give us a fabulous kitchen! The new drawers and doors they made were beautiful. They started installation at the house on a Monday, had completed the wood work by Wednesday, granite and sink were installed on Thursday, backsplash and plumbing were completed on Friday. Scott finished the last of the clean up by 6pm Friday and left us with a new, beautiful, sparkling kitchen. He did everything he had promised. We are very happy with the quality of work that was done by Marott Contractors. We will call them again for our next project. We will gladly refer them to our family and friends and recommend Scott and his team to all who read this review!

From the first estimate visit, Scott was a joy to work with. We have done a lot of remodeling in our house and Scott and his crew were so far above all other contractors there is hardly a way to compare! After deciding the style of cabinets and color, Scott did all the measuring and then the building of all the new drawers and cabinet doors was done elsewhere. This left us with four days of on-site installation. A lot of time passed between the estimate and installation, but this helped us have time to purchase new appliances, decide and purchase new hardware, etc. And Scott was in contact with us weekly if not more giving us a progress report on the jobs in front of us as well as our job. And he was always available by cell phone to answer any questions that came up. Our new kitchen looks great! And I love how much more functional the kitchen is.

It was fantastic I absolutely love it. Very happy it is just beautiful. I will definetly recomment Marott contractors to my friends and family.

We could not have been happier! Scott was very professional and stayed in good contact with us between the time we signed the contract and the work was done. Although we had to wait about two months for the work to be done, Scott was honest and let us know it would be that long because of his previous work commitments. Once they got started, it only took two days for the complete installation. His team was very careful to keep things as neat as possible. We absolutely love the result! Although the old cabinets didn't look too bad, once you looked closely at them you could see they were very shoddily built. They had thin veneers, drawers that would come off the glides every time you opened them, thin cabinet doors and hinges that often pulled loose. I love my cabinets now!

We cannot ask for a better experience, a turnkey experience. Contractor was extremely detail oriented, very thorough, neat, and well organized. Contractor explains cabinet design alternatives and provides price point options. We opted for more expense solid Maple wood materials, and multiple cabinet redesigns. All base cabinet shelves and doors were redesigned and replaced with cabinet drawers. Storage now significantly more useful..!! All cabinet drawers, drawer faces, and cabinet doors are solid maple material. We selected Sherwin Williams paint color and contractor matched the color and utilized within his paint finish process (multiple coats of primer, color and clear finish). Cabinets are very durable. Cabinet hardware is substantial and appears top of line, with soft close doors. Incorporated new trash can drawer and separate cooking utensil / knife / cutting board drawer within existing base cabinet footprint. Scott is a true craftsman (and perfectionist), to say the least. We are extremely happy.

He was very nice and professional. We set a time to meet and he was right on time. Bid was prompt and reasonable. We decided not to do the project just yet, but will as soon as we can.

They were very professional.and were very helpful with design ideas The vendors they sent us to for the granite etc were very good and the material was very good quality. Scott gave us a start date and the workers were here everyday until the job was completed It went very well He also made sure everything was done to the higest standards. We would highly recommend them
