Rick Manning is a ghost. Jennifer the “office girl” is a liar and you can’t believe a thing she says. She told me to sent an email to rick@blahblah. I did. I didn’t hear back even a “I got it” that day, evening, night or the next morning. I called. She was still driving in to work even though the office hours they posted show them to be open. This is just another case of an idiot with a pick up truck. Don’t call these people. If you did by mistake. Change your phone number and move to Florida.

We hired Rick Manning and his remodeling team to redo our kitchen, install new floors and paint. From our initial meeting with Rick we were impressed with the knowledge he has in the construction and remodeling industry. He gave us ideas to improve the flow and function of our kitchen which I believe is one of his strengths. He has insight and can visualize how a completed project will look. We had our kitchen completely redone which required demolition. This means we had new cabinets installed, new counter tops and new back splash. We also had our lighting completely redone in our kitchen and living area. There were times when we didn't receive communication we had hoped for but upon speaking with Rick, we had our questions answered and resolved. We liked how we didn't have to pay for the remodeling up front, however, when we requested additional work, we didn't receive estimates, the work was just done. Costs should be more clearly defined. We are very happy with our new floors and the painting completed by Kevin and his professional painting team. The project was even completed prior to the estimated date which allows our family to enjoy our new kitchen during this unfortunate time of quarantine of March 2020. Quality Work! Yes!

Poor. We ran through 4 project managers, almost all talked trash about the company and how shady the prices were. . I could not get an updated scope/estimate when the scope changed. Yet I had numerous requests for draws. We agreed to part ways and he had a final invoice that included 1000.00 for permits. I asked him to transfer to my new GC company and he said they were cancelled and were non refundable. I called the city and checked the etrakit site. He never paid for them. So He stole 1000.00 from me and lied about it. He is not responding to me. So don’t hire this guy, he comes off really genuine, but he is one of those shady GCs you hear about. Stay clear

Complete update of house interior prior to selling

Rick Manning and his team were gracious and flat out awesome. We made the mistake of starting with another contractor and fired them after the first day. We asked Manning Construction to come in and take over the project. Rick and Joe came in and even though we were down in the cue they immediately jumped in and finished the demo of the bathroom and started work. The bathrooms turned out absolutely fabulous. I will use Manning Construction again. Their people are very good and look out for the customer. I can not sing all the virtues of this organization. I highly recommend Rick.

It was great working with Rick and Joe and planning out our master bathroom. We liked that we could use our own materials and they would just 'do the work'. After speaking with Rick the first time I got a quote I knew they were the guys that were going to remodel our bathroom. He wasn't the lowest quote, he was the right guy for the job. Very professional, I liked the way they handled everything. We were terrified of having a contractor take our money and run, finish half the project and run, and everything about how Rick run's the business alleviated all those concerns. On top of all that, they have some top notch guys doing the work. We did have a slight delay in the project, when one of their painters was out on leave for a newborn. Now, obviously we didn't like that we had to delay one step of the project a week. But think to yourself, how many contractors/remodeling companies would have just grabbed the first guy they could find to show up and finish your project? Or not let the guy have leave at all without threatening to fire him or whatever (or use employees who may not be entirely above board that wouldn't get leave anyway). So once again, back to how they handle everything in the business. Very professional, above board, and very appreciated! We are extremely happy with the bathroom! Our kitchen is next and I know who we are calling. Ok, I'm kidding, no one calls anyone anymore. It will probably be a text. But it will be to Rick Manning and it will just say "When can you start on my kitchen"

They were very professional and the results were great.

We had two different crews that came to our house depending on what needed to be done. Both crews exhibited the same core values which tells me that the leadership of the company has communicated these core values and expect them to be followed. Each person acted in a professional manner but were also kind and approachable. The work that they did was exceptional and they never failed to clean up at the end of each day. They were here for three months but that was through two holidays, illness, and last minute changes that we made. I will use Manning again in the future for anything that comes up.

The kitchen remodel is now complete and we are in the process of completing the patio cover. We are extremely pleased with the remodel of the kitchen. Manning and his staff were very responsive to us and completed the project on time and within budget. It looks awesome! We moved the small island and made a L-shaped peninsula out of it, changed tile flooring to wood to match rest of house, repainted dark kitchen cabinets white, replaced appliances, removed fluorescent lighting in ceiling and installed canned lights and added four (4) pendant lights. We couldn't be happier with the results. .

Outstanding workmanship, all work completed as agreed, excellent communications and courtesy by everyone involved.

Rick and his team did an OUTSTANDING job on the remodel of my kitchen, guest, and master bathrooms. This project took about 4 months to complete. Rick is an absolute professional and he expects the same from his team. They listened to my ideas, gave me great suggestions (things I hadn't even considered), and, most importantly, stayed within my budget. I was able to reach Rick or the project lead by phone, text, or email and they were extremely responsive. I never felt like I didn't know what was going on with the project. It was great that Rick stopped by often to check on the progress and inspect the work. He and his project lead followed up with me throughout to ensure I was happy with the work being done. I am very pleased with the remodel and have provided referrals to many of my friends and neighbors.

These guys were outstanding. Mike (the project lead), Tomas, and Ruiz are the team to have. They were with me for pretty much the entire project which was about three weeks. They did quality work and they did it correctly. I have had other contractors who just wanted to get the job done and move on to the next project. If these guys had the same thought process they did not show it. The were detail oriented and wanted to make sure the work was done right and that I as the customer was satisfied with the work. They were extremely responsive, they cleaned up each day. It was a very pleasant experience. If you are looking for GC's, you can stop looking, these guys are it. I will be using them when I begin Phase 2 of my home project!

This was the best remodeling project I've ever had. They were very punctual, very clean and great craftsmanship. Great at communication. I will be having them do my master bath soon.

Currently, job is still ongoing. They are 2/3 way through. So far the job is going well.

I've had good experience. They were good to work with. They worked with me.

Rick was easy to work with in the planning and quoting phase. He was very agreeable to my doing some of the work myself (painting and some plumbing) and readily removed those items from the quote. The guys who came out were personable and industrious... that is, they came every day and worked all day. And the work was done well. All in all a very satisfying outcome.

We were extremely pleased...they exceeded expectations in every way. Almost hate to share this delightful experience too broadly, but they have earned the kudos.

Rick and his whole team are great! They will come in and listen to what you want to do and then explain to you in detail how they plan on accomplishing the task. If you want to get into details they will get into details. If you just want them to get the job done then they will do that also. They are a little bit more expensive than some of the other estimates however you get what you pay for with Rick and his team. They professionalism, quality of work, willingness to go the extra mile and craftsmanship are far superior than some of the other low budget places will give you. Rick also uses a dedicated team, so no sub-contractors. All of his guys are expertly trained and have been doing this work for years. There is no learning on the job here. As for materials and supplies, Rick and his team use all of the best materials and supplies needed to get the job done right the first time. They won't attempt to short-change you by using fewer or subpar materials just to get the price reduced. Lastly, his whole team is very professional and thorough. They will explain everything even as they are doing the work if you are interested. They also do all the small things like properly covering all flooring, fixtures and furniture. Cleaning up extra well after each sub-task. All in all I would definitely recommend Rick and his team and would definitely use them again in the future! If you want to save some money and hire someone who will use cheap materials and labor and hire third-party contractors who are not well trained and who will do a shoddy job then hire someone else. If you want a great team with highly experience, well trained company employees who use premier tools and materials to do an excellent long-lasting job then hire Rick and his team.

Rick was very professional and responsive to requests. There were a couple of miscommunications but that it to be expected on a job this size and length of time. The quality of the work is superb and we are very happy with the results. We would definitely hire him again.

Rick and crew were the best people we worked with in the entire 6 month remodel effort. I got estimates from 3 different contractors (plus interviews) - Rick came in about 30% less than 1, and the same as another. His crew came in and ripped out everything that was to removed in the first 48 hours (floors, wall trim, changed counter shape, counter tops, fireplace, wallpaper, and appliances) and removed from the premises the same day. The team performed the following: -Installation of new appliances (including a new vent hood which required major configuration changes & vent outside) - installation of new built in cabinets/sideboard combo in our dining room - wall repair, texturing & painting of the entire house - installation of new fireplace stone (floor to ceiling) & rustic mantel - installation of kitchen back splash tile (because it was installed vertically it required LOTS of care & work) - installation of custom lighting in the new built-ins & under all kitchen cabinets - installation of pendant light fixtures in the kitchen - installation of new lighting over the fireplace - installation of new lighting (including new spot) in the 2nd bath - installation of a mixer lift in the kitchen & new custom cabinet door (had to remove old door & interior) - PERFECT match! - installation of new size door interior - new frame out of kitchen island (changed from 2 level to single level height) - managed subcontractor installation of granite (kitchen) & travertine/ marble in the bathrooms I just can't say enough good things about this crew! They were very agile and easily accommodated the few changes we requested. They expect 100% perfection from their work, and I can't say that I can find fault in anything they did. UPDATE 12/29/15: If you need to have flooring done and Manning recommends using Starwood Wholesale - I recommend finding your own flooring supplier/installer. The service was completely dis-satisfactory, but i would not downgrade Manning's rating due to a recommended sub-contractor. See my review for Starwood.

The project went well, and we're happy with the results.

We are extremely pleased with the bathroom remodel and other items they did. This project has hung over our head for years, and we finally got it accomplished. Rick and his crew were friendly, clean, efficient, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. We were kept informed during the process and Jana in the office was also friendly and efficient with the estimates for the additional items I kept adding to the initial work order. We will definitely use them again for remodeling. The bathroom looks great!!

The project went GREAT! Manning Remodeling was very professional. They did a complete remodel of our master bath: new shower, bath, sinks, lighting, flooring. It looks beautiful! They were very focused and organized...and easy to communicate with. We will definitely call them again!

This was a complete end to end rip out, tear down and re-do entire bathroom from floor, to walls and ceiling. Rick and his crew displayed professionalism from the start of the project until they finished this week. The project took about 6 weeks to complete which was within expectation provided. We are very happy with every step pf the process and the quality of workmanship as well as every member of the work crew that came in and out during the phases of the project. Thank you Rick for all of your hard work and we will for sure be calling you again when we start our next project.

It all went great. Frist and foremost, Rick Manning called me back within 10 minutes after I left a message on his phone and he set an appointment the following day to come by and look at what needed to be done. He had the quote for the work back to me in 2 business days. Once I made my decision to go with Rick, his EMPLOYEES (not sub contractors) were here within 2 days working on the house. This was an extensive repair job on the eaves and siding and they worked very diligently to complete everything in a timely manner. They always came when they said they would and they did a fantastic job. The best part is when Rick contacts you during the job, his question to you is "Is everything perfect?" If it is not, he will get it fixed to your satisfaction. Rick has his own employees who are covered by workman's comp and they are very nice and very respectful at all times. They do great work. The only 2 subcontractors Rick used were the painter, Alfredo, and the roof repair guys. Alfredo was the most thorough painter I have ever witnessed. Fantastic job. The roof guys made the repair in my roof and it has rained 3 time since then with no water coming through where it was previously coming through. Overall, fantastic job. I have already talked to Rick about doing more work on the house and I won't even call for a price comparison. Rick and his crews are fantastic and I will not use anyone else for my home repair and renovation work. The best aspect of working with Rick Manning is that he does what he says he is going to do and he wants you to be 100% satisfied with his work. It is a pleasure working with Rick and look forward to the next project.
