Love Your Lawn

i called love your lawn based on angie list reviews. every spring i need someone to do the spring cleanup of beds and plant replacement. this year i needed the old mulch to be removed and replaced with new. i was very happy with the responsiveness from holly and her team. holly worked with what i had and simply made some adjustments to my landscaping. i plan on having love your lawn back to do some additional yard work

They came on time and did good work. We had the leaves raked and the yard cleaned up for the winter.

They are excellent and would use them again.

In many ways they did well. I got upset with them because they let the branches in the alley get long enough that I got a letter from the city. It took a couple of calls to get them to correct the problem. I also got upset with them because they didn't cut some branches I wanted cut in my yard. I told them I would pay extra for the extra tree trimming. I called three times before I gave up.

Great! I used Love Your Lawn all this last year at my rental house and now I've had them start new service at my first home. They are always on time (or early) and keep the yard looking great. Couldn't ask for better customer service and work.

Holly responded the same day I called the office. She came out took measurements, called the nursery and had a quote on the spot. I called the next day to confirm. The following morning her crew was out to do the work. They finished by noon and left the job site cleaner than when they arrived. I am pleased and will use Love Your Lawn for my next landscaping project.

They are very responsive and they do a great job.

He was way out of my budget because I didn?t quite understand what it took to do the job. I didn?t realize what the scope was for the project. They walked me through the process really well and they told me what needed to be done and why so that I would understand. I couldn?t afford what I really needed to do. The price is probably realistic and I should have expected it if I had known what the job really was.

I called two weeks prior to the job being done and she came over and evaluated the area. She drew up some plans and talked about what I would like in the area. She came back and showed me what she thought I would like for the area. They came back two days later and did the job in one day. They were really fast. I would absolutely use them again.

They are dependable and do what they say they are going to do. I don't know that it is the best value around, but I am satisfied.

They did the last mold job for us yesterday. They are flexible when it comes to pricing. If we want to do one event or something where we want to do more of landscaping they would do that separately. We can pay them monthly or annually. They are very consistent and do a great job especially when it comes to landscaping.

I've never used a lawn service before but needed some help to finish out the summer season. Called Love Your Lawn and they showed up for the first service that same day. I thought they did a much better job than I normally do! The lawn looked great and they continued to show up on time, as scheduled. If it's in the budget for next season, I'd love to have them take care of my yard all year!

They were pleasant and quick to respond. They came out to give the quote and that was about all of the interaction I had with them.

I received a phone call from Monty (owner) very shortly after submitting my original report on Angie's List. He was concerned about my satisfaction with the work completed and the unfortunate ongoing problem of the invasive ivy. I discussed with him a few options that he had in mind for trying to get rid of the ivy. He promised that he would send out a worker within the next few days to spot treat the ivy that was currently visible in the front flower beds so that the new plants that had been placed would remain unaffected. The following week I noticed that the areas had been spot treated and the visible ivy from before was beginning to die. Monty followed up with me by telephone to ask if we were happy with the results, which we are. He stated that the ivy may go dormant in the winter but to contact him in the spring again and he would return out as often as needed to spot treat the areas. I fully understand that the issue of invasive ivy is not an easy one to treat. I appreciate his desire to make us completely happy with the work his company performed and to ensure our ongoing happiness. This is the kind of professionalism and dedication you can expect from Monty when choosing Love Your Lawn. We couldn't be happier, as stated before, with the landscaping and his continued commitment to the ivy issue makes us completely happy. Thank you to Monty.

I called Love Your Lawn, they gave me an approx estimate over the phone based on size of lot. They showed up the next day. People in the office are very responsive and professional too!

They are also professional, responsive and punctual. They are also dependable and do a very good work. I have been satisfied with their service.

They mowed the lawn and treated it. They did a good job. We hired them in the middle of June. They have done an excellent job. Initially I had a few complaints because they did not know what I wanted them to do. Once that was clear I have not had any complaints against them. I am not here most of the time they do the job. I am not sure what they do with the mowed grass. They don?t leave it here. In the winter they will be coming in twice a month to pick out the leaves. I am looking forward to that part too.

I submitted, to Holly Allaire, a sketch of the yard showing where the new beds were to be located and the amount of direct sunlight each receives daily requesting she recommend sutable plants for each. I wanted plants in some of the beds to create a privacy screen while the plants in the other beds were intended to enhance the appearance of the yard. She submitted a proposal with multiple choices from which I made my selections. The work was scheduled for Friday 8/14 and had to be rescheduled to Tuesday 8/18 due to a change in the workers availability. This was not a problem for me. A crew of 4 men arrived on time at 9:00 AM and worked until 8:00 PM. When Holly went to pickup the Viburnum she found they were not of the qualtiy she wanted and the nursey had to order new plants. This caused completion of the work to be delayed until Thursday 8/20 which took the 4 man crew about 3 hours. Again, this was not a problem for me. A cable service line was cut in the process of preparing the beds which caused significant inconvenience for an entire day. It was replaced the following day by the cable company and I received a credit of $100 from Holly for the inconvenience which was to my complete satisfaction. The only other issue was the way the sod was removed for installing the downspout extensions which prevented it from being put back properly. This was corrected by laying new sod. Sometimes a project does not go strictly according to plan but Holly is very professional and makes sure it all works out in the end to my complete satisfaction. I have additional landscape work planned and will use Love Your Lawn to perform it. No one is perfect but they come pretty close.

We selected this company from Angie's List (imagine that) and could not be more satisfied. We will use this company next year when we are planning work in the back yard. Their rep, Holly, responded quickly, prepared the estimates and we decided to go with them. She was knowledgable, professional, and very personable. The work crew that performed the resoding was excellent. Their cleanup at the end of each day was great. The quality of the St. August Sod was excellent and was installed over a layer of organic rich dirt. (We didn't get that when we had our backyard resoded by another company a year ago) The same crew constructed the new stone edging and we couldn't be more pleased. The same crew then removed all the existing plants in the beds and planted the new plants in accordance with Holly's design using peat-moss and organic rich dirt followed by a layer of mulch. The same crew removed three trees in the side yard and planted two new trees using the same materials around the ball as used in the front beds.

My riding mower kicked the bucket and I didn't want to go through the expense of getting it fixed or buying a new one and then just having to mow the grass myself every week. It was worth the expense of hiring an outside vendor to do the job so that I didn't have to worry about getting it done every week. So, after finding Love Your Lawn on Angie's List, I decided to give them a try. So, I signed up for a month of service first. There were a couple of small hiccups in the scheduling system at first, but the customer service staff got it right and had my job scheduled for the next available day. I was pleased with the attention to detail on the edging and blowing. The job was done as well (or better) than I would have done myself. So, I signed up for the year-long service. They have been punctual and gotten my yard serviced every week for the past 3 months. I'm very satisfied with their quality of work. If you don't know if you want to commit to a long-term contract without having sampled their service, then i would suggest you try them out for a month first, too.

I was pleased with the punctuality and efficiency of the work.

A crew of four men completed the work in two days working from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM each day. When the work was completed they collected and hauled off all of the resulting debris leaving the premises in good condition. There were only two issues with the work. 1. The variety of Gardenia I wanted was not available and a different one was planted. Holly Allaire who oversaw the work said if I was not satisfied with this variety when it bloomed she would replace it free of charge. 2. The residue from cutting the stone left the grass brown in several areas. The presumption at this point is that the grass will restore itself in time. Holly said she will tell the crew not to cut stone on grass in the future.

It went great - Holly stayed in touch the entire time and did a great job of managing the project. Very pleased with the quality of their work and attention to detail.

It was great. Holly was incredibly knowledgeable. We did a walk around the yard and discussed the overall look we were going for as well as the logistics involved in fixing the areas that needed to be sodded. She was totally on the same page and understood that we were looking for low-maintenance and a budget-friendly solution. She left the estimate for me so I could discuss with my husband that evening. We were both happy with what was estimated overall and we did a bit more negotiating to make sure we were at a price we could be happy about. Holly was able to have a crew out within 2 days of doing the estimate and they worked very quickly. Amazingly our yard was transformed in a matter of 48 hours. The team even worked as a storm was moving in and finished up the job (final watering and clean up) as the sky opened up and started pouring. The yard looks beautiful - even with all of the hot weather we've had lately - and we were wholeheartedly pleased with the job done.

She had taken a lot of time explaining to us what they were going to do and also gave us suggestions. She had given us a detailed little booklet of how our landscape would look if we totally changed it. She had also told us what the previous landscaping people had done correctly and what they had done wrong. We were also given the price by her.
