This was a gift for our son & his family - a congratulations on updating their old kitchen. The board is absolutely beautiful - they love it! It is an expensive cutting board, but hopefully it will last for many, many yearrs. It appears to be very well made, and of course it is gorgeous. Son is a gourmet cook, and appreciates the fine quality and beauty of the board. Thank you, John at Lonestar!

Everything went well. They made the cutting boards exactly as I had specified, and the boards arrived on schedule.

I ordered it on Friday May 2nd thru Angie list.LoneStar Artisans contacted me first thing Monday morning to verify the exact spelling for my gift. I received my parents gift the next week at my door,it was well packaged to protect it. I can only say that it is so beautiful, that we have not yet brought ourselves to use it,my parents have it on display to this day.

Overall it went well. The first board split prematurely, but they were easy to work with and sent out a replacement immediately.

They contacted me via e-mail to get details for the custom cutting board after I purchased a Big Deal. It came out beautifully! Our last name was laser engraved into the board and it had two types of wood. He really loved it!

I ordered a personalized cutting board with our last name in-laid in the wood on the front. I had the board in my hands in about a week after ordering it. It is beautifully crafted. It is so pretty that I am not sure I can ever bring myself to use it. I may just display it in my kitchen. I would not hesitate to order another one. My husband is going to love this on Father's Day. The whole experience was excellent. It was a cutting board with a last name engraved on it--and I couldn't be more pleased. He was even able to make sure that I received both cutting boards by Christmas Eve. My parents love theirs, and it even came with a how to care guide to keep it looking good. I would highly recommend this service provider to anyone who is looking for anything made out of wood. They do quality work, and if I lived in the Dallas area, I would use him more. I hope he is able to offer other Big Deals for other things in the future.

It was fantastic. The quality was top notch. I would definitely purchase from them and will probably would.

Man talked to on phone very courteous, to the point and I trusted him. I saw the distance between Waco and Plano as obstacle to the work but he worked, he said, on south side of Dallas and I would have had to drive only that far. I have been able to find very few furniture repair people (seat weavers,etc.)and it would not have been unusual for me to select a long-distance craftsman. I had other financial priorities and chose not to employ Lonestar Artisans. He works with museums in Dallas and is a valued contact.

Purchased a personalized cutting board. Angie's List asked me to set up a date with the provider, which confused me because I didn't want to meet them in Plano. Turns out, it was truly just an on-line order and the provider clarified that for me. The quality of their product was excellent.

They did an awesome job, shipped to my home. My Son really liked it!
