Services we offer

We remove load bearing walls to open up floor plans. We only remove walls and install structure to support load that was previously resting on said wall. We also correct significant structural problems. Must be structural, we do not do cosmetic wood repairs. Most of the structural remediation we do requires heavy duty jacks to lift or move parts of the house that have failed. We correct saggy garage ceilings and add attic storage to homes. wallBgone.com

Everything went just how they said. They showed up on exactly on time left the walls just the way they said they would and got the job done in one day. I would highly recommend.

Jason came out in December of 2015, and spoke to my wife and I and outlined the project. We weren't ready to commit tot the project, and waited - never took another bid or entertained another company, strictly we needed time to think finacially was this project/upgrade worth doing. In February of 2017, I called Jason back, and asked him to do the work. He not only stayed with his original quote (didn't have to do that, could have charged me more, as most contractors will not honor a quote after 30 days), but remembered my name, my wife's name, our address, and exactly what the job was instantly. He was on his cell phone driving, not looking at a computer or paperwork. That showed me he was truly a professional. The guys showed up, on time, the pre-date email reminders, checklists, and "what to expect" was fantastic. The guys showed up on time, were EXTREMELY professional, did an amazing job, and the clean up was SPECTACULAR! They did the whole job in one day, were no intrusive in any way, they did their job and went home. They were polite, and asked a lot of questions to ensure they knew exactly what I wanted and were satisfied. The collected half of the fees up front, and then collected the other half when the job was completed and would not accept the payment until I assured them I was satisfied with the job. It was possibly the BEST remodel/contractor experience I have ever had. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Description of Work: We had a three car garage (two doors - a 16'x8' and a 8'8) with a support pillar between the two garage doors. The smaller door was far too difficult and small to parka a car, so we asked Load Bearing Wall Pros to come and move the pillar and rough out two equal size garage doors and although cutting the garage from a 3 car to essentially a 2 car, it made the garage more functional.

The work that was done was excellent, the guys provided excellent recommendations and performed all work on time and very professional. I would definitely use them again and am very pleased with the finished work. I wish all jobs went as well as this work did.

The Load Bearing Wall Pros were excellent to work with. Jason came out and reviewed my structural issues and made some recommendations that even my structural engineer didn’t consider. I had talked with two other contractors who didn’t give me the confidence they had the skills to do the work correctly. After talking things over with Jason, I realized right away this was the company I wanted to do the job. Jared came with his crew at 1:00 PM and reviewed the structural deficit in my upstairs home addition. He pointed out where the framer had made mistakes during the addition. Jared came up with an easy alteration that would resolve my problem. His crew only took about four hours to make the corrections, supporting a LVL beam which was over-stressed. This resulted in closing up cracks in the Sheetrock and allowing the doors to close properly. The crew masked off the living areas to keep any construction dust from other areas of the house. They cleaned up nicely after all the work was done. The owners of the company and their crew were professional and courteous. I highly recommend Load Bearing Wall Pros for any structural issues in your home or business.
Description of Work: One of the LVL beams in my second floor addition had bowed in the center and needed to be raised back into place and blocked from below.

The Load Bearing Wall Pros did an amazing job over 2 days. They started Tuesday morning, walking through the area, calculating load, running through design options to create a solid plan. They hung the largest beam the first day and two smaller beams the second day. They sent a crew of 6 and it was evident that they were a true team. They all seemed to know exactly what needed to be done, jumping in to help each other, wherever needed. They were very respectful and cheerful, and they cleaned up many times throughout the day. While they were here, they removed a couple short cabinet support walls in the kitchen, framed two doorways, and removed a balcony overhang in the living room.
Description of Work: I wanted to convert my 1984 2-story maze of a house to an open layout kitchen, dining, and living area which required removing a number of walls including an enclosed wet bar.

They were prompt and the final product was good but they are incredibly overpriced. The owner is also ridiculously cocky. Only went with them because no other company would touch steel beams or drive this far. Not a huge fan that they didn't finish until 11:30pm and my husband had to work the next day. We were told they had to finish because they had a job lined up the following day. The workers are overworked in my opinion.

The work was completed in a single day. A steel beam and supporting steel columns were installed. They closed off the work area in plastic to minimize dust and cleaned up the work area after they were done. Extremely professional and the work is top notch.
Description of Work: Needed a wall moved to enlarge my garage. The wall was load-bearing, so my contractor brought in Load Bearing Wall Pros.

Load Bearing Walls came out and bid the work. Prior to commencing the work LBW also provided a structural engineer and secured the city permit. We wound up installing two 18 foot steel beams totally opening up our den, kitchen and dining area. We also had LBW add additional support below the pier and beam home to distribute the load. We feel like we are in a different home. The owners of the company and their crew were professional and courteous. These guys are really, really good at what they do.
