They showed up on time, started work right away, were conscientious about my hardwood floors and doorways when carrying things, were calm and friendly and solid guys. Nothing was broken, scratched, detached, or misplaced - a first for me with moving companies!

Contacted King Moving about first move of storage cabinets. Move was efficient and cabinets arrived intact. Movers surveyed work to start with; began moving and packing in truck in orderly manner. This move was successfully completed, so company was chosen to make succeeding moves. The two final moves involved furniture and boxes. Nothing was damaged in any move, and the movers were diligent about getting their work done. In unloading, they were attentive to placing furniture and boxes where they belonged, asking questions when necessary. They obviously have been well-trained for their work.

It was approximately 5 days (including 4th of July weekend) from the first point of contact to when the work was performed. They called when they were on their way, arrived when they said they would and were very professional. They looked at the Armoire and the route they would take to move it to it's new location before begining the work. This was a very heavy piece of furniture, so they had 4 guys to help move it and did so without incident. They were very careful not to damage walls or the furniture.

Called about moving between Dallas and Houston. Jim came the next morning and gave me an estimate. Four guys would be loading, two travelling to Houston to unload. On moving day, there was supposed to be a phone call when they were on their way that didn't happen. When they arrived, I wasn't 100% ready, but they got to it immediately. I was annoyed by this, as I was finishing my lunch and my cats weren't "secured". I take some of the blame for this. They were very quick and efficient. My friend and I were discussing later about the swarm that descended and were there 4 or 5 guys. Anyway, the off loading was much less harried. No damage. Hooked up my washer/dryer. They were professional and pleasant. I've moved alot, not much stuff by comparison, but I haven't had a totally "uneventful" move yet. I'd use King Moving again.

They returned the call for an estimate very quickly. The work was done swiftly and promptly, but I thought the price was a little steep. While I was glad to have someone else moving that metal monolith, the gentlemen were in my house for literally less than 5 minutes.

It was wonderful to have such professional movers who performed to expectations. They were honest and very careful in moving our items.

They sent out four men. They were very polite and seemed to know what they were doing. They showed up on time. We had construction going on in front of our house. They were very conscious about that. They packed carefully and did a great job. Their price was reasonable.

Was able to arrange pick-up date without a problem. Said they would be there between 8:30 and 9:00am and actually showed up at 8:00am. All three workers were very polite and introduced themselves. Very fast, efficient and careful movers. We were extremely impressed. Would definitely recommend King Movers to everyone and would use again!

The move went smoothly. The weather was very cold and icy, so Mr. King called the night before and asked if we could delay the move by 2 hours just for safety purposes. The movers (4 movers) arrived exactly on time and had all the furniture and boxes in the truck in about 15 minutes. The men followed me to the new apartment, and again had all the furniture/boxes up to the apartment in another 15 minutes. The original bid was approximately $160.00, but everything went so smoothly that the move took less time than quoted and the final cost was $94.00. The men were very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend this company and I would definitely use their services again. A perfect move.

Movers showed up on time and did an excellent job. This is the second time we used King and they did an excellent job both times.

They showed up at the appointed time, wrapped-up quickly (within 5 hours) and were professionals.

The movers arrived exactly when they said they would. There were 4 men including one supervisor who asked me to show him if there were any special instructions. They got to work and very efficiently and quickly packed up everything. They had brought two trucks (one large and one small), and were able to fit everything in. They then drove to my new house, and again, unloaded everything into the correct rooms very quickly and efficiently. They did not damage anything, were very polite, and did the work in an appropriate timeframe. I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

Excellent service! I had to make a last minute change to the move date and Mr. King was very accomodating, rescheduling us without a problem. The movers arrived on time, were professional and courteous, and did not damage or break anything. Will definitely use them again.

They were very good, on time and professional. They were also very flexible. There were four guys that did the last move and three guys for the first move. I would recommend four guys for the move. I would use them again.

They worked out very well. I have absolutely no complaints. They were very good. They charge per hour and then for 15 minutes after first hour. They had 4 guys that did the work. Our move was a little unusual in that we were moving from one apartment to one literally next door. They blitzed it. They were fast, professional and excellent. We had a large cabinet that was awkward to move, but they handled it superbly. I thought it wasn't going to work, but they lifted it over some banisters and just got on with it.

They arrived withing the quoted time, brought 4 guys to do the work and had the truck packed in 1 hour 15 minutes, the items were packed well and all wrapped in furniture padding where needed. They go to the new place quickly and unloaded in under an hour. All four employees were very professional and polite. We have unpacked about half of the items so far and nothing was misplaced or broken. They helped to put in a table leaf, placed items exactly where we needed, unhooked and re-hooked the washer and dryer and also offered to help moving other items. Overall it was a good experience. There were a few items they didn't want to move since we did not have the correct materials to pack them, but nothing that was too bothersome. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a well priced, quick and punctual move that wants good results.

They arrived on time, explained the contract, we signed it, they started work. It was less than I was expecting. Wow, that's a new one! Really, they were so good and timely but careful. Does this sound too good? I'm telling you, Angie's List, you did it again!

I sent out emails to several movers on the list asking for a quote. Some of the movers didn't respond at all, some did respond with outrages quotes and others responded saying the job was too small as they were a large moving company. King Moving (Greg King) responded quickly with the best quote. When we talked by phone, I found out King Moving has been in business many years and does large jobs. He was willing to do my small move for me between jobs at a reasonable price. The movers had to retrieve the furniture at the end of a dock at Lake Lewisville and then get it through a gate before loading it on to their truck. The table itself was extremely heavy as it is 1 inch of marble. They set it up at my home and were kind enough to move it around until I was happy with the spot. The four movers themselves were great too. They were courteous, efficient, professional and funny! At one point I said to them that they make it look like going to work is fun and they worked so well together. They told me they were all family - brothers and cousins. They really did care about their work and my furniture. King Moving is a great company.

FANTASTIC. These guys are truly amazing and were literally life savers after a horrible situation (The apartment where I was moving in Austin wasn't ready). They were truly angels and I owe some of my sanity to them after we had to return to Dallas the same day with everything. I can't thank them or write enough good things about them. Handled everything perfectly and were nice and never complained once. PERFECT.

Just Great. Contract was signed, crew went to work and it was a very professional job. Crew members were uniformed. Communication was no problem. Our move was loaded one day and delivered the following day to our new home in The Hill Country. When we unpacked there was NO Damage to anything. This was a first for us after many moves in our lifetime.
