The move was an excellent experience. King Moving sent 3 very capable guys to handle my move. They took care in the handling of our stuff, but still managed to be very efficient. By comparison to previous moves and other local movers I have hired there really was no comparison. These guys are better, with stronger and more capable employees, a better sense of urgency in performing the work and very reasonable prices. I will use them again and recommend them to everyone.

Called several weeks out to get pricing information and Omar quickly responded and gave me preliminary quote. Several options based on man-power and trucks that would be provided. I waited several weeks before firming up my quotes and went back to King Moving as my mover of choice. I had used a national company for my most recent home relocation, and their quote five plus years ago was significantly more than the quote I received from King. We decided to go with the 5-man crew and two trucks/trailers. And I'm really glad we did. Those two trailers were filled to the gills. They arrived promptly at the appointed time at 7:30 AM and did a quick walk through before starting to stage things and move items into the trailers. They broke down all of the furniture and we never heard a single bump or incident in which they couldn't easily figure out how to get something out of the house. They took the handles off of the side-by-side refrigerator and basically disassembled a piece of furniture that just couldn't make it out of a narrow hall way. I'm not even sure how we got it in there in the first place! The piano move was a thing of beauty I'm told by my wife as she watched as they moved "her" piano. They wrapped it up tightly with plastic wrap and easily moved it out of the house after removing the legs. While I ran to the new house, my wife stayed behind and kept me updated. We had purchased new pedalstals for our front-load washer and dryers - thinking this would be the ideal time to get them since we didn't originally. By the time I had those uncrated and ready in the new home laundry room, I heard that they were finishing up and heading my way. By approximately 1 PM they were unloading at the new house, one trailer in the front of the house and one trailer in the back alley. Another quick walk-through and they knew the general layout of how we wanted the furniture arranged and soon boxes were rolling in. They re-assembled all of the furniture and hooked-up the appliances, including the refrigerator icemaker and made certain that water was flowing through. They even attached the pedalstals to the washer and dryer and connected the dryer vents. There was only one minor mishap, the corner of a cheap file cabinet was damaged and they quickly pointed it out to me. We noticed no other dents, scratches or missing items. After all the trucks were unloaded they made certain we were happy with the placement of items and asked if they needed to move anything else around for us. Definitely a smooth, pleasant experience. It took the 5-man crew 9 hours at $155/hour, plus an $85 trip charge and $50 additional for the piano. They very nicely provided a 10% discount to Angie's list users. Oh yeah, they also provided closet wardrobe boxes free of charge to use for the move. Of course, they weren't new boxes, but it did save having to source those on our own. I'd definitely feel comfortable using King Moving again and recommending them to anyone that needs a move. Owner Greg King called later that evening to double check that everything went smooth.

King Moving had excellent reviews on this site and with good reason. When called for an estimate, Omar was both prompt and professional in quoting a fair and reasonable price. We agreed on a move date over the phone, and King Moving followed up with an email confirming the date and time and contract documents. Just prior to the move date, we received another email reminder. Throughout the process, their communication was excellent. On the day of the move, Greg, the owner of King Moving, called us to let us know precisely when the crew would arrive. The moving crew was clean, polite, and attentive to detail. They worked efficiently and carefully with all of my aunt's belongings and furniture which included sofa, recliner, swivel chair, table and chairs, bedroom set with large mirror, etc. Each piece was beautifully loaded, unloaded, and reassembled with no damage to any of the furniture or walls at either apartment. Greg, Omar, and the professional crew made the entire moving process from start to finish a pleasant and stress-free experience for both my aunt and myself. Many thanks!!

These guys are very efficient and work quickly. They arrived about 15 minutes early, clarified what I wanted moved and bean working. They had everything packed up an ready to go in a little over a hour and finished unloading and setting things up all within about 2 1/2 hours. The owner even followed with a call to make sure everything went well. Another great find on Angie's list.

We were thrilled with the service and the great experience. They were in constant communication with us so there was never any question or doubt about whether they could help us or when they would be coming. We were able to get scheduled on short notice and the entire move took just a few hours. The team worked miracles getting the furniture to go through the doors. They didn't complain about the steps or the slope up to the house. They ran back to the truck to get the next item. They hooked up the appliances and everything worked great. They advised my husband how to correct something with the dryer for the new location. This was the best moving experience we have had. Greg even called that night to follow up on the service. I've never had a moving company do that before!

Before they left, they verified all the work had been completed and offered assistance for anything else. I would highly recommend this company.

The company was effecient and fast. They did cause some minor damage to my washing machine, but they had it repaired and back to me within two days.

The movers arrived early and finished all in one day. They were very careful and efficient. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and they made me feel very comfortable on a very stressful day for me.

It was an easy process. My husband called and recieved estimate. We purchased coupon from Angies List and turned it in upon completion of service.

Great Job, Fridge would not work at the new house and Mr. King offered assistance for my trouble. I saw them move it and they moved it correctly or I would of complained. Where else do you get that offer?

They scheduled us with a late afternoon move, depending on the speed of their first move of the day. The staff communicated with me by email and phone and answered all of my questions. They were extremely professional. They called when they were on their way to the job, and were finished within an hour and a half. I appreciated their smiles and can-do attitudes!

Excellent service. They communicated well and arrived on time. They wrapped and packed everything perfectly and took great care with moving the individual pieces. I was a little concerned about paying an hourly rate because in the past I've had workers who worked really slowly to prolong the time they needed to do the job. These guys worked solidly from the minute they arrived and it cost us no more than the original amount they estimated. After the move was completed the owner called to thanks us for hiring them and to ask if we were satisfied with their service. I've moved a lot and this is definitely one of my two best moving experiences.

Movers were on time with all necessary equipment. Items were wrapped and moved carefully , transported and unloaded with care and speed. Very impressed with the follow up and attention to details.

The team was not only on time but early after seeking approval from us to do so. They arrived well equipped, were very professional and immediately went to work. They expertly navigated several large, very heavy pieces through tight doorways and stairwells making only one small scratch that they immediately notified us about rather than try to hide it like some would. Start to finish, it took them about 5 hours to complete the work. We were please enough to give them a 20% tip (included in spend amount provided) based on the total after their Angie's special offer. Would definitely call them again.

King Moving Co. was fantastic from beginning, speaking with Omar about scheduling and pricing was simple and easy. I was very happy to receive a confirming email and a call the day before the move. We have moved several times, and they are by far the best movers we have had. They were on time (even a little early), efficient, professional and friendly. I had no doubt that great care was taken in moving our furniture and personal items. Before the movers left, they made sure we were happy and satisfied with placement of items, the move, etc. They were done quickly (but nothing felt rushed) and we were very happy with the final price.

Great moving experience from beginning to end. Front end office was great, they returned my call right away with quote, called to confirm moving date a couple days before hand and answered all my questions. Ruben and his team showed up right on time and were fast and efficient. They worked hard and finished faster than I expected but took great care with all my stuff. I will happily use King Moving in the future.

perfect... we packed, but they moved everything great... and we were upstairs when we started.

The movers arrived a little before 7:30 (the arrival time was stated to be between 7:30am-8am) so they were prompt and ready to go before 7:30. There were three gentlemen that moved me about 15 minutes from where I was to. They were very nice, they handled all of my belongings the way I wanted them to. They even took my big screen T.V put it in it's original box. They moved my dying bookshelve to the dumpster. When I moved to my new apartment instead of them putting everything just in one room, they put everything in there respective places which made things easier when I was unpacking. The move took a little over 3 hours, I was moving from a 3rd floor to a loft style apartment that had two floors. the only thing I was suprised about was the trip charge which was $75.00, other places I called (I called like 4 different places before I chose King Move Co.) and there's were like $25.00 for a moving charge. I knew the price before I hired them so I wasn't in the dark about it but if anyone is concerned about the trip charge that may be an issue. Other than that I woudl hire them again.

Overall, the experience was great. Super professional, punctual and fast. I had several questions pop up before and the day of the move and Omar returned every single one of my calls. We were worried about moving our sleep number bed and Omar assured me his guys had experience moving that type of bed. I also at the last minute had a washer/dryer and fridge to add to the haul and Omar sent it an extra trailer to make sure they got everything in one trip AND I wasn't charged extra for the trailer. My in-laws are set to move soon and I will be assign along the info for King moving! No gimmicks and they don't charge by the box.

They handled the second move as well as the first and for a very fair price.
