King Moving Company was fast, efficient and the movers were courteous and personable. In less than 3 hours they moved my office from one suburb to another; out of one building and into another (up a formidable flight of stairs). Even though I was a small move for them, Mr. King called the next day, on a Sunday, to see how the move had gone. I will definitely use King Moving Company again!

The move went great! I set up the move with Omar who was very friendly and answered all of my questions. They only had a 2man crew available on the day i needed to move but i only had a few large items so Omar agreed. Omar also let me know that if a 3rd man became available they would send 3, i said that was fine. The movers were actually able to come earlier than expected which was great! The 2 men that showed up were friendly and hardworking! They took care of the job quickly! The job took just a little over an hour. The price was exactly what Omar had told me it would be. It was a very smooth move both with with the communication and the actual move. I would highly recommend King Moving and will certainly use them again if the need should arise!

We used King Moving to move us from an apartment in Richardson, TX to a house in Mckinney, TX. Best move I have encountered to date and we have moved three times in the last three years. Ruben and his crew were excellent. They were punctual and were extremely careful when moving items, which we very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend King Moving and will use them again if we need to move in the future.

The team was punctual to the dot . We were very impressed with the care they took in moving our household . I had heard horror stories from friends about movers stealing phones or credit cards . With Kings Moving I could have left my safe open and my cash on the table and they would have moved it as is to the new location . With one of the beds (IKEA ones ) which need a lot of assembly they had left a screw out - we called them up and they came that very day in the afternoon and fixed it . Not just that they sent us a $xx gift card apologizing . We were happy that they had been so prompt so the apology was unexpected and floored us That is one of the reasons i was keen to write a review. I hope they continue this great customer service.

1) They were on time :) 2) They were very accommodating. 3) They were very professional and nicely dressed in company attire. 4) They moved the furniture very carefully and were mindful of walls, etc. 5) I have moved with national carriers several times. This group of gentlemen was by far much more careful with the furniture and surroundings and did an awesome job. In sum, from the initial appointment on the phone to set-up the move to the end, this company did a phenomenal job. I would suggest them to anyone! Thanks for the FANTASTIC WORK!

King Moving is a wonderful company, we have used them twice and recommend them to everyone. They showed up on time and got right to work. We hired a four man team to move us from a 3/2.5 1900 sq. ft apartment in Carrollton (lots of stairs) to a 3/2 1750 sq. ft apartment in Plano. The men had the truck loaded in two hours and we were unloaded and done in about four and half hours. They also hooked up our washer and dryer, then put together our daughter's bunk bed (not the easiest to dismantle and put back together). They guys worked hard the whole time (no wasting time),were incredibly polite, and very clean.

I was very pleased with King Moving Co! We moved from a 4 bedroom house into another just a few miles away. They showed up right on time, got right to work, and were extremely professional and polite and careful and patient the entire time. They helped us get the refrigerator door off because it wouldn't come out of the first house otherwise. And they helped us get the gas dryer hooked up by using their tools. I highly recommend them!

Fabulous experience. From initial contact to the finished move, these guys were awesome. A contract was emailed to me and filled with important information and the movers responsibilities as well. I got a courtesy call on Sunday to remind me of our scheduled time. On Monday, Omar called and said they were running ahead of schedule and could they come early...fine with me. They were quick,efficient and very nice guys to work with. Very impressed!!!

Scheduling was very easy. Owner came to our Plano house to provide a not-to-exceed estimate a few days before the move. Crew called half an hour before they arrived. Arrived at 7:10am, and was professional/efficient. Everything went well. They were very helpful.

We had a large 2 bed apartment and a storage unit that was very full of furniture, as well as a large storage unit that was full. King Movers showed up 10 minutes early. The three man team worked very carefully to cover and wrap our furniture and handled them cautiously. They were efficient and worked well together. It took us almost 14 hours to finish. They were happy and helpful the entire time. I would recommend them to anybody!

They were there on time, were able to adapt to almost hourly changes in circumstances, were very professional, did not damage anything that I could see and I think they would of fessed up if they did. If they were neighbors I would have any problem inviting them over for for game day or a backyard barbque.

I have used these guys twice and cannot say enough good things. Clean cut guys that are young and STRONG. They handle items with care and move carefully, then literally run back to truck to get next item. It is almost too good to believe. They are the best part of moving. I have used other movers in town (the big names) and nothing compares to these guys. Use them!

They had a large truck, 3 men, and were right on time (7:30am). They asked lots of questions to make sure things were done the way we wanted. They moved us out of one house very quickly, and when they were done at the new house, they again asked if they could help arrange items. They disconnected lines to the fridge and washer/dryer and re-hooked everything up and tested the connections. They took apart the bed frames and reassembled. My wife and I were very pleased with their work.

I'm pleased with their reviews from Angie's List so I hire them. They are the cheapest most I ever bid. They charge you by hour and if pay by hour you're thinking that they're going to stretch it a little bit but it's not and they did a solid job. They are on the go that they all work well together which is important.

They were very professional and responsive. Seating up the appointment was easy. Greg King was very helpful and his guys showed up on time and did the job exactly as promised. I'd recommend them and or use them again.

Contacted King Movers and made the appointment. Scheduler made the reservation and promised to send an email confirmation on a late Friday afternoon. We did not receive the email confirmation as promised, but after contacting King again, we did receive it late that Friday night. This will turn out to be our only complaint. So after that little hiccup, everything went off as discussed. King Movers delivered a handful of wardrobe boxes to our house a few days prior to our move date, which was a tremendous help ! On move day, Ruben and his 5 man crew arrived promptly at 7:15 AM with 2 trucks ready-to-go. All crew members introduced themselves upon entering our home and shook my hand. This was a good start ! The crew was dressed alike in King Mover shirts, were polite, courteous and mostly spoke English. They immediately got to work loading our packed boxes. As items and rooms were discovered to have nicks/dings/scratches etc., Ruben and his crew promptly pointed these areas out to me to ensure me that they hadn't damaged anything while loading and unloading. After 3 hours of load time, everything was cleared out of the old house. Towards the end of the load, the crew was voluntarily packing a few boxes and grabbing any and all remaining loose items from our backyard before the trucks left for the new house. Upon arrival at the final destination, Ruben and crew wasted no time unloading. Again, the team took great care of our items and home, pointing out anything unusual or damaged. The crew was definitely experienced and worked really well together. They crew worked diligently and most importantly didn't damage anything. Everyone behaved in a professional manner and was respectful of their job and our belongings. They didn't seem to rush at all and took the extra time to assist one another with heavy items, especially up and down the staircase. After 3 hours of unload time, the move was essentially complete. They made sure we were satisfied with everything before they packed up their trucks and left. We even used the crew to rearrange furniture throughout the house and garage before we let them go. I would definitely recommend King Movers and use them again. Professional from start to finish. I was amazed at the job they did and in the time they did it without incident. Very impressed with King Movers and Ruben and his Crew.

King Moving Company was wonderful to work with. They scheduled us at the time we needed to move. They confirmed the time prior to showing up. They arrived on time and they worked diligently to get the move done as expeditiously as possible. The crew was very professional and cooperative. A glass pane in a curio cabinet was broken when the load shifted in transit. Greg King, the owner was very apologetic and insisted that we not pay for the move until he had replaced the glass, which happened two days later. Greg followed up with calls a few days later to make sure that we were completely satisfied with the glass repair and the move in general. He even sent an official letter of apology with a small gift card enclosed. I would highly recommend this company to anyone anticipating a move.

They confirmed our appointment the day before, then they called on the morning of to let me know they were on the way. Had some heavy bulky furniture upstairs that I needed to move to the garage. They did a great job and specifically did not bang my walls or my furniture. I painted all the walls and trim so I am very sensitive to anyone bumping or dinging them up and those guys were marvelous! They were quick and professional. I will be using them again when we sell the house and have to move to San Antonio.

Giovanni and the crew were excellent. They showed up promptly and worked very hard. They were very careful with our items and new hardwood floors. They were also extremely accommodating in allowing us to put felt pads on the furniture. In addition to the professionalism they showed with the move, they also were respectful and positive. We would definitely use them again.

All of the items we have not yet unpacked are safe in our home or stacked appropriately for future unpacking. We could not be more satisfied. In my experience, the kind of follow up and 'making it right' are seldom found in a service provider today.

I had a wonderful experience with King Moving. I first used them in October of 2012. They were punctual and courteous and the pricing is fair. I had initially wrote a review that may have caused some confusion because I had mistakenly put a negative review for a moving company I used in 2013 under King.When I moved in 2013, I used a different moving company only because the date I needed was already full for King.I would like to rectify that review by making this update. The staff at King moving is very professional. They send you a confirmation of your move time and date and call you about 30 minutes prior to arriving on your move date. I would highly reccomend them to anyone needing reliable, courteous and professional movers at a great rate!!

Overall the actual move went very well. The movers were very professional and careful with our possessions and the walls and doors in both the Baytown and The Colony house. They shrink wrapped the items I had previously identified and some new items that I identified as the move progressed. I had done price comparisons with two other companies based in the Houston area which quoted lump sums from $1,600 to $2,400 more than King Moving Co. and if I added an item, it would be more, if I subtracted and item, there was no price adjustment. King Moving Co. allowed more flexibility in that there was a base trip charge, then a cost per hour for loading and unloading so I could decide what I wanted them to move versus what I would take myself to lower the cost of the move. The movers worked continuously during the load and unload with no breaks and kept me informed of the price before they began loading, after the load and after the unload. The only negative comment I have is in the responsiveness of their electronic communications. There is no on-line way to receive an initial quote for a long distance move. You have to call and give the information to the person who answers the phone, then they get back to you later with a quote. There were additional e-mails back and forth based either on their questions or mine which got lost in their system. I had to call and ask why I hadn't received a response to my questions. Once I made my decision on a moving company about 3 weeks before the move, I received a confirmation of schedule with a request for the exact addresses for pick up and delivery. I responded to the request via e-mail within 24 hours. However, the day before the move when I attached detailed instructions via Google Maps on how to reach my house in Baytown and The Colony, I got an e-mail response saying that they had never received the addresses. The owner of the company called my cell phone the night before the move to confirm the pick up address and was very apologetic for the mix-up. The movers did call my cell about an hour before their arrival and they did arrive within the timeframe specified. The owner also called me after loading to confirm that it went well and to confirm the delivery address. The movers called to confirm they were on their way for the unload and arrived within the specified time. You can tell a great company by the way they respond when things don't go as planned. Once they get a better system for tracking electronic communications they will be an excellent company.

Great. Got ahold of Curtis Williams in the a.m., he was able to contact the person selling me the cabinet and work out a pickup time. Everything was pleasant, punctual and those three guys worked their behinds off to get that cabinet upstairs.
