The crew was one man short of the promised 4 but they were quick and efficient. We had originally asked for help in moving a few large items to our storage but since they were a man short, the move took to long and we ran out of our allotted time before this could be done.

What I found very puzzling is that this is the first mover that did not wrap anything in plastic. Apparently they have blankets in the truck that they use to protect things but that doesn't protect things up to reaching the truck nor after leaving the truck. I think they need to use plastic like other movers do. Secondly, I wasn't completely ready when the movers arrived and I was taking care of some things via my cell phone and while the movers were putting remaining things in to boxes, one of them actually asks if we are going to help. First of all, I'm paying them by the hour. Secondly, I'm taking care of trying to sell something on Facebook real quick that they said they couldn't load. Lastly, they put my mattress and box springs on my sofa to store and I was concerned how the springs would hold up on the sofa with that much weight on there possibly for months. So I had them move them off of it. This might have been proper procedure; I don't know.

King Moving was fantastic to work with. Great planning over the phone and getting scheduled. The three guy team that moved us were professional and worked fast! I couldn't have asked for more. Glad I used King Moving and would call them again for any moving needs!

Perfectly! The guys worked quickly and efficiently but also carefully. They stacked the POD to ensure safety of the items but also to get as much in it as possible.

Very professional company. I booked them about 2-3 weeks in advance before our move date. They said that the day of moving was very busy and that they could only offer a 2-5 pm arrival time. We still took that option since this company was very well rated among all other companies in our vicinity and they also offered a coupon valued at $100 for services for $75 purchase price. For those interested, our price breakdown was $55 initial arrival fee + $105/hr for a 3 man crew, including disassembling and reassembling of furniture. The owner/manager called about 2 days before the move date to confirm and also told us that we will get an extra 5% off for Angie's List members, after the application of the afore-mentioned coupon. On the day of moving, we got a call at around 1PM from the movers telling us that they'd be there within 20 minutes. That was well ahead of the promised 2-5PM arrival slot and we couldn't be happier. They arrived at roughly 1:25PM and we went over what had to be moved and how and the clock started at 1:45 PM. They even brought wardrobe boxes, even though we did not need them since we had our own. Good thinking, IMO. The three man crew worked very fast and quick and took no breaks in-between since they had had lunch prior to arrival. They did have to endure two interruptions in the form of neighbors who had to get their cars out in order to leave, but that did not prove to be much of a hindrance. They were fully loaded in just a little over 2 hours and took extra care to disassemble our bed and pack our fragile glass top dining table and flat screen tv carefully. Since the move was quite literally across the street, there wasn't much of a travel distance to estimate any damage to items during the travel. A small gripe was that they had loaded boxes on top of the not-so-sturdy, extra-large boxes (to fill with pillows and other light bulky items), but as soon as I pointed out the error, they readjusted and put these boxes on top. Unloading all our stuff and reassembling of our bed took a little less than 2 hours. Our boxes were marked with where they were supposed to be and they followed the instructions correctly. They did a great job rearranging stuff from our older garage to the new one, since the latter was a little smaller in width. All together, it took 4 hours and we paid, with the initial arrival fee of $55 + 4 hours of moving @ $105/hour - (afore-mentioned $100 for $75 coupon and the 5% discount) + tax, about $460. Every item was well-taken care of, no scratches whatsoever and just yesterday, 3 weeks after the move, the owner/manager called to confirm if everything was fine and I thanked him for his services. Very professional to follow-up on a client. Definitely plan to use them again for our next move to a permanent home. Note: Make sure you call and ask the company before you buy any of the advertised coupons here, so they have it on file. Despite my telling them that I will be purchasing the coupon when they called me 2 days prior to our move and mentioning the client name in the comments box during the purchase transaction on here, they couldn't find it because for some reason Angie's List was down on the day of the move. I had to send the transaction from Angie's List to the owner's email directly- a minor inconvenience that took my focus off of the moving.

King Moving personnel showed up on time, with the proper equipment, and were identified by a uniform shirt. In addition, they arrived with three men, which is critical if any heavy items are to be moved (Other companies I called only promised two men...). They were quick to load, careful with the household goods, and very courteous. They did not doddle, and were very efficient in loading the furniture and household items. They knew how to utilize the proper moving equipment, and wrapped the appropriate items so as to protect them from damage. They loaded following a set plan, and neatly and lined up and gently stacked items to maximize needed space in their van. When loaded, they drove carefully and cautiously to the storage facility, and quickly unloaded. They again lined up and stacked the household goods so as to maximize the unused space in the storage facility, in case I needed to add more items to the storage facility later. I am very pleased with the crew that King Moving Company sent. They were professional, and helpful. Further, the price was very reasonable. They exceeded my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I will call them when I need to make any further moves.

They are professional! I just moved and regret that I did not go with them this time. They took great care with my things and setup my bed and washer dryer. I just had a bad experience with a mover and thought about how smooth it was with King's. I will hire them for my next move and request the same crew I had before...

Movers were on time, very courteous and worked with all our requests. Highly recommend.

Arrived on time at our storage unit. (Called ahead as promised that morning ).The three man team was very professional, organized, courteous, and efficient with packing the truck. Upon arrival to the house the team quickly unloaded everything carefully and placed everything carefully where we requested. Our newly remodeled home had just had the painting completed and new floors installed, the movers never dinged a piece of trim or wall. They had to maneuver a large sectional through a narrow hallway with a turn, set up a very large (95" high) two piece bookcase credenza in the living room where the ceiling is only 95 3/4 inches high, carry a mahagony king size bed upstairs, etc. they did move quickly but never seemed hurried or impatient. Overall, a job well done, I am forever thankful they managed that beast of a bookcase.

I purchased the Angie?s List $399 package which is 3 movers for 4-hrs, and time after that is at an hourly rate. I also purchased $50 insurance which is the equivalent of $10,000 insurance with a $250 deductible. The movers (John, Ted & Tony) are moving maestros! This was absolutely hands down the best move I have ever had in my life. I?ve used King Moving Co., LLC before when buying furniture but never for a full apartment move. I asked them to bring a twin XL moving box for my wet noodle Tempurpedic mattress and as promised they brought it with them. They called beforehand so I knew they were on the way and arrived with a 24 foot truck on time. During parking, they were conscientious of the trees above the truck and didn?t remove a single branch. I then signed the paperwork and showed them what needed to be moved. I had a few special requests since it was sprinkling outside: 1) Go out the back door as much as possible 2) Move a dresser into the utility room but not take it on the truck 3) Wrap my furniture before exiting the apartment 4) Bring wardrobe boxes (this is optional ? just let them know at least 2 days before) The movers kindly honored each request. There were no ?smoke breaks? which was a huge sigh of relief for me. If they needed to use the restroom they asked politely. I had water available in the refrigerator but they executed the move with such precision that none was needed. After all my goods were loaded up in the trailer, they asked me do a walk through to ensure everything was on the truck. It only took them about 1.3 hours to load my 2 bedroom apartment (and I had some very difficult pieces of furniture to move)! The drive to the new apartment only took about 0.5 hours and it was 10 miles north of my old place. My new place is in a gated complex so they called as promised on arrival and I let them in. They followed me to my new apartment which has the garage on the bottom, then about 15 stairs up is the main floor and about 15 more stairs up is the master bedroom. I thought surely this would kill them. It was slightly raining outside and because I had brand new carpet and they ended carrying the boxes up one by one instead of using the hand trucks. Again no complaints or smoke breaks. I had another special request: unwrap a brand new 8x10 rug and lay it out on the dining room floor before putting the furniture on it ? no problems here either. I should mention here that moving blankets were laid down to protect my carpet in both places because of the rain. I?m so glad they wrapped my furniture before the move (you can request this) because the clouds just would not cooperate. I had water available at the new place and each took only one bottle. I was surprised because this was a killer move with all the stairs. At the end of the move they made sure everything was to my liking (I have some really heavy furniture so I wanted to make sure it was all in place) and asked if there was anything else I needed. I asked if they could take my mattress out of the twin XL box and take the box with them so I wouldn?t have to carry the box to the dumpster. No problem. I thought this was going to be an 8 hour move but they are so efficient it only took 4 hours! I paid with my credit card and my bill was $50 for the insurance plus the amount for the twin XL box they brought ($90). I realized afterwards that the 20% tip I gave them only was on the amount I paid using my credit card because I had already paid for the package deal upfront. I only tipped them 20% x $90. That means they only had $16 to split between the three of them. OMG! I realized my mistake after the credit card went through. John, Ted & Tony you each did a superb job and I will be sending you each a $25 gift card for exceeding my expectations. Thank you!

The move went very well and the crew was very friendly and professional. We underestimated how much we were moving and we required an unexpected 2nd trip. They worked with us on pricing even though it wasn't a fault of their own and I would highly recommend this moving company to anyone. I've used several different movers in the past and this is hands down the best one. I will definitely use them for all future moving needs.

This was our second time using King Movers and they were just as good as the first. The previous stop had an unexpected issue pop up, but they were up front and gave us a new arrival time which they met to the minute and discounted our move rate. As always, King was extremely attentive to our needs, took care with all of the belongings and were as efficient as a well-oiled machine. Couldn't be any happier with a company.

The entire process went perfectly! The movers showed up exactly when they said they would and were very courteous and efficient. They handled antique and delicate furniture very carefully. There was absolutely no damage to anything. I am completely satisfied and would definitely use them again.

I called and spoke with Corey. He was very cordial and his prices are fair. They don't charge two hour minimum like the other companies I called. After the first hour, they charge in 15 min increments which is really nice. I set-up for the next morning and he had three guys at my office right on time. They took care in wrapping and padding the piece and getting down the stairs. They didn't waste any time. They met me at my home and placed the piece where i asked. They were professional and courteous guys. I would definitely use King moving again. Thank you Corey and your crew.

The movers called me 30 minutes prior to arrival. They showed up early as scheduled. Very prompt and ready to get to work. They worked so quickly. They were very organized and were very careful to move all of the furniture. They wrapped up items that needed to be protected. They took apart furniture that needed to be disassembled to be moved. They were very careful to move items and there were no damages to any of the items when they were moved to the new location. The movers remembered which room items needed to be moved to so at the new location the movers quickly set up items in the right location. They reassembled beds and dressers at the new location. They put boxes in the right rooms. The movers made the whole process of moving so easy for us. This is the second time I've used King Moving Co. I would definitely use them again and again. They are all professional and hard workers. They are a company you can trust and depend on to do the job right the first time!

My daughter and her husband are in the process of building a new home and getting their current home ready to put on the market. They are on a very strict timetable to get their current home up for sale asap. Very stressful situation for 2 working parents with small kids underfoot. Then, of course, my sweet son-in-law hurts his back while trying to lift furniture all by himself. Ends up on a heating pad with muscle relaxers and pain killers. Being the helpful mother-in-law that I am, I put in a call to Kings Moving Company. After talking to Corey, I never even called another company on the list. Corey listened and told me all the details that I needed to know. Plus, he was NICE, RESPECTFUL, and seemed to be willing to do whatever it took to help my daughter and her husband out in their stressful situation. Who would ever expect such courtesy and customer service on the end of the phone from a moving company in today's world? Corey follows through with emails and phone calls leading up to the job assignment and a phone call afterwards to make sure we were happy and everything went as planned. I can't even remember the last time I had a company or contractor call me after the job was finished to see if I was satisfied with the work performed. The moving team consisted of 3 clean, polite, soft spoken, respectful guys who were dressed in matching sweatshirts with the King's Moving Company name and phone # on them. I liked that. My husband said they were the picture perfect model of good teamwork. My daughter thought the price was extremely reasonable. Much cheaper than the doctor's office visit, Rx's, and the days her husband missed from work this week due to his back injury from attempting to do it all by himself. Usually, I can think of something afterwards that a company or contractor could do to improve their business practices or work. But, I can't think of one thing that the King's Moving Company could do to improve their business model. In fact, they ought to give seminars to teach others how to correctly run a small business. By the way, my daughter and her husband will be using them in the near future to move into their new home.

I couldn't have asked for a better company to deal with. Corey and everyone over there was very accommodating. Due to construction timelines, we had to change the date of the move several times and they could not have been any nicer about it. They went above and beyond to get our move done when we finally had a date to do so. The 3 movers we had were excellent; polite, professional and hard workers. They never skipped a beat and never wasted time. I will definitely use them for any moves we have in the future.

The movers arrived early and efficiently went to work. They emptied the townhouse quickly and without damaging any of our furniture, in fact one gentleman fixed a handle on our refrigerator before he moved it! The crew was professional and ensured our belongings were well taken care of. They delivered our furniture to the new home and quickly put everything in its place. They even moved pieces of furniture if my wife didn't like the placement. We hired them for 4 hours and it took them 4 hours and 30 minutes, but they put everything back together and did an awesome job. We would definitely hire them again and have recommended them to our realtor for her clients. Awesome job!!!

They were on time, worked fast and were extremely nice. My Dad likes to talk, they didn't stop working , but did talk to him and laugh with him while they picked up furniture and boxes, I really appreciated that the men were courteous and respectful to my Dad, which helped the move go easier for my Dad. The price was very reasonable and they got him moved in less than 3 hrs, since King Moving charges by the hour at a very reasonable rate, this was great!!

They were great. Punctual. Careful. Thorough. Considerate. They'll assemble your furniture, move stuff around, Anything. We've used them twice and I recommend them to my friends. Best movers we've had.

My tender outdoor plants needed to be moved into the garage before the first freeze, so I called King Moving to help me out. In addition I needed some furniture moved downstairs and felt put under the furniture feet before they went on my new hardwood floors. I also needed some building supplies to moved to the attic. King Moving sent three movers and a truck to help me. The men were very careful with my plants, electing to hand carry them to the garage to avoid any excess trauma to the plants. They put felt furniture pads on the feet of furniture they moved downstairs, just as I asked them to. In addition they moved around boxes and furniture in several rooms of my house, and in my garage. The King Moving men were very careful with my things. Even though my list was longer than I told them on the phone, the men acted like they were glad to do anything I needed. They were punctual, easy to work with, careful, and I would use them again.

The move went great! They showed up first thing in morning and started right away. They were very careful moving all of our furniture and other fragile belongings! I would highly recommend Kings Moving Company!

I'd been searching through AngiesList for a mover for a couple of weeks reading review after review. Why i chose King was because of the well articulated reviews by other AL members. King didn't have the most reviews, they had the best reviews. My first conversation with Cory put me right at ease and instilled confidence that they would get the move done to my satisfaction. As we downsized, there wasn't a lot to move, but what did move were many large vintage pieces of furniture (along with a front-load washer and dryer on pedestals). Could not have asked for a better crew. ET, Eddie and Mavs were great to work with and got the job done professionally and quickly. And they had to work hard bringing everything to a third floor! Even hooked up the washer at the new location. Cory told me on my initial call that once I used King, I would use them for any future moves. He was absolutely right!
