Description of Work: We were very pleased from the time I scheduled with Omar through the move done by Ruben, Rudy and Manuel. They were very careful and efficient. Best movers we've ever had!

Description of Work: I don't know about you, but I put "relocating" pretty stinking high up there on the List of Things That Absolutely Stress Me Out. Thank goodness for King Moving Company...their part in my move helped my stress level considerably. I sent a request for a quote to 5 companies I found on Angie's List. 2 of them got back to me within 4 hours, and the most professional by far was King Moving Co. Omar and I communicated through at least 6 emails (mostly dealing with my silly questions) and I was booked for my moving day, ready to go and confident within a day of reaching out. Omar emailed me the names of the guys who would be moving me, along with the team leader's contact info the night before my move. The team leader called me the morning of the move and even arrived 10 minutes early - no small fete especially considering I asked them to arrive at 7am on a Saturday. Price was fair, the time to complete the job was excellent, movers were quick and professional and everything arrived at my house in the same condition it left my apartment in. I'll definitely be using King Moving Co again!

Description of Work: I called King Moving Co. on Sat to arrange them to pick up furniture that I was purchasing Mon. from Craig's List. They were very professional. Stated that they had two moves planned on Mon. and if I needed it done on Mon. that they could get another crew and complete it, but that it would be late in the evening. I was pleased with their honesty. I chose rather to go with Tues. as they were open and it could be a morning pick up and delivery. They picked up the furniture on time and delivered it just as expected. Best moving experience. I have moved several times and was very pleased with King! They picked up the furniture from Keller and delivered it to Plano. A++ superstars!

Description of Work: They moved furniture from room to room - very heavy and oversized furniture. They sent 3 men who were very nice and willing to move furniture again once it was inside the room. They took care not to damage the items, doors, walls, etc. Will definitely use again.

Description of Work: I had a large house that I moved from Frisco Tx to Dallas Tx. IT took four men working from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. They worked non stop, were extremely careful with my belongings. There were stairs in both houses, they were very good. They also put pads down on my hardwood floors. They put together beds and set up my appliances. I had a problem wit the dryer vent, they came out that day and corrected it. Best Move I've ever had.

Description of Work: King moved my mother from one apartment to another. She was very happy with their service and kindness. They hooked up the washer and dryer and were courteous and later called her to make sure she was happy with their service.

Description of Work: Moved from a 3 bdr house to a 2 bdr apartment within the same city. The crew showed up on time. They were very professional, polite and friendly. They made the moving experience much more pleasant. I would definitely hire them again whenever we are ready to move.

Description of Work: They moved my Mom's 1 bedroom apartment furnishings and her car from Texas to Arkansas. Jim was so helpful in preparing the estimate and setting everything up. The crew who moved her things arrived promptly, worked quickly and efficiently and got the truck packed in a short time. They were polite and neat in appearance. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Found King on Angies List and called them in October and scheduled move for early November. We found some others listed that might have been cheaper but we found Mr. King and the Angie ratings to be the best sounding for our needs. I can't imagine that a moving company could perform any better than that crew. After describing what we had to move (4 bedrooms, dining room and etc.) and the distance(about15 miles) Mr. King told us that they would be at the house at 8:30 moving morn and we would be moved and set up by 12:30. And.....amazingly.....that's the way it went. A truck and 3 men pulled up the the back of the house while a truck and 3 men and a truck came to the back. Very professional and well trained guys did a great job without wasting a step. Thanks King Moving!

Description of Work: I contacted King Moving last week about moving my household when the movers that I had used previously were no longer available. Right from the beginning, Greg made suggestions on how best they could help us and fit us into their schedule on fairly short notice. We were the 'moving teams' second move of the day, and as promised they called when they left the previous job and gave an accurate estimate of their arrival time. Once there, they surveyed the items to be moved, verified the cost per hour, Angies List Discount, and also told us that if they needed to make two trips (which they did) - that the drive time coming/going during the second trip would not be included in the calculation of the cost. The three people that moved us worked diligently, efficiently and took great care of our belongings. We didn't get all finished up till almost 9PM with the second trip needed, but they kept at it till they were done. There were several pieces of furniture that had to have special handling due either to 'family antique' status, or simply because of size/shape and where it went. They handled everything professionally. I would highly recommend Greg and his team, if you need a mover. All of that, and this move still cost me less than the last time we moved! Thanks.

Description of Work: I recently used King Moving for the second time and the experience I had the first time was excellent, as was this one. They are very professional, hard working and and reasonably priced. I received sevaral calls confirming the crew was working hard and that there weren't any problems. When the move went longer than anticipated, they sent an additional crew over to help finish. I was extermely happy with their work and also want to point out that unlike many movers they'll do anything you ask them to do. They set up beds, moved furniture around that we changed our minds on, set up and connected the washer and dryer and moved items into a very hot attic. I highly recommend them to anyone who's looking for a moving company and isn't sure who they can trust to do a terrific job.

Description of Work: Six guys 2 trucks. Moved 1300 sq foot house plus a completely packed gargage, down the street,. They did it effeciently and carefully- no damage to the walls or any of stuff! Came in right on budget. JIm did a great job with estimating and the crew were a lot of fun. It was 100 degrees but they kept going from 7am-4 and then moved on to other jobs in the area. Professional and effcient. My advice when comparing prices- break it out into the price per man hour. If you get a quote as one fee for a move, they could send two guys and it could take all day, or more. The more guys the quicker the process.
