Award winning. Owner operated. Nancy offers a free, in-home consultation for prospective clients so that she can see the problem area(s )and answer homeowner's questions. Each actual organizing session is subject to a 4-hour minimum. Additional time is prorated based on the hourly rate of $65/hr. Payment is due at the end of each appointment. Payment methods include cash, check, Zelle, Venmo or PayPal. Helping Hands is happy to offer a referral bonus of a free 5th hour for you after your referral completes their first 4-hour appointment. Description of Work: Nancy is amazing! In four hours she helped me clean out, file, and discard almost four years of PAPER that was cluttering up my family room since having three back surgeries in two-and-one-half months in SUmmer 2014. I will have her return, but likely not until Christmas Break when I have time to work with her. Again, Nancy is phenomenal. :-)

Description of Work: Nancy came for a free estimate and is very prompt and accommodating with scheduling, etc. She came another day for the four hour minimum and was focused but not at all pushy as we cleaned out file cabinets, sorted office supplies and stored them, sifted through some genealogy, unloaded and moved a 30x72 inch bookshelf. I was happy with how things went and very appreciative of her attitude and versatile approach. She was adept at doing things herself, at working with me in tandem on things that took more than one person to do easily, and in letting me set the pace, yet she helped me stay focused. I would definitely use her service again. It was a good experience.

Description of Work: Nancy came right in and got to work. She is super sweet and calm and explained what we needed to do and how to do it. My daughters and I felt like she was a close friend helping us unpack and organize. We got to most things that were in my girls room and then While girls were working on projects Nancy And I got busy in the kitchen, unpacking, organizing, and making donation piles. By the time she left we had several bags and boxes of things to donate, and things to take to children's consignment store! |We had her scheduled for all day last Sunday and our beloved poodle died unexpectedly Saturday night. My daughters and I were completely devistated and had been at the ER with out dog all night. She was so sweet on the phone. She did not charge me to reschedule bc death is unavoidable. Even though Nancy and I are the same age, she is like a mom and best friend, and professional, all at the same time, no bossy pants, no judgement, a very calming and it's all going to be ok, type of positive energy. I can't wait for us to finish! Love love love this lady!!

Description of Work: You would not believe the mounds of paper, boxes, stashed documents and overall "stuff" that accumulated in our home office over the past 13 years. It was out of control and so bad that I kept the door continually closed from guests. I kept putting off cleaning and organizing the office because I did not have the 3-4 days it would take to do the job. My time is filled with work and family so I decided to find someone to help me. I searched Angie's List and narrowed it down to professional organizers close by. Then I read the reviews and selected Nancy. Her review were really great - and now I can see why. We talked in advance to coordinate, discussed priorities and scheduled a date. She was on time (even called the prior day to confirm), was very professional and was ready to jump right in. She was totally qualified and an excellent organizer. She worked fast but the execution was well thought out. I was amazed AND she even made it fun to where my husband pitched in (who knew!). We finished during that one day!! The office looks awesome, everything in its place and totally sparkly and organized. I feel like a new person and have opened the windows and doors to welcome anyone wanting to use the office and our computer now. I HIGHLY recommend Nancy and we've even scheduled next dates for more projects! Thank you Nancy. You are delightful, a hard worker and I am so glad we met!

Description of Work: Nancy Peham is a miracle worker - fast, efficient, a calming presence in a chaotic situation. We spent two half-days in a master bedroom, closets and drawers; another two half-days in kitchen, all drawers, cabinets, relined and reorganized. Items were sorted into keep, donate, sell. We have future dates scheduled to continue in other parts of the house, including laundry room, garage, various storage closets. She is so pleasant, a very hard worker. I cannot say enough good things about Nancy and Helping Hands Personal Services.

My experience with her has been absolutely great. She is an organizer and she is very organized. She accomplished things very quickly and unpacked things in a very organized way. She is dependable. She arrives on time. She arrives with all the things you need. I would absolutely use her in the future.

Nancy Peham, of Helping Hands Personal Sevices is outstanding. She is extremely organized and efficient. I called Nancy to come over and provide an estimate for helping me prepare to move out of state. She schedule the appointment and showed up promptly at the designated time. After review of the work needed to be done, we agreed on a date and time to get started. Again, Nancy arrived on time and prepared to work. She does not waste any time and is extremely organized and efficient. She has been over several times, to help me, and each time, she is able to accomplish a tremendous amount of work. Nancy assesses the needs and knows what materials are required to get the job done. She will inform you of what to purchase, or she is willing to get it for you. Her professional packing skills are incredible. I will have long distance movers coming for my things on 7/11, but I am confident that they have been well packed, and are secure for the long trip out West. I still have several more hours worth of work that I will ask her to come take care of for me, while I continue to work. Every dollar I have paid Helping Hands and every dollar I will pay them in the next week, has been, and will be, well worth it. I am on a tight timeline to be moved out of my house, and packed to move across the country, while maintaing a 40 hour/week job. I could not have accomplished it without Nancy's excellent skills, and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend Nancy to anyone. Don't wait until you have to move, call her now to get your home organized and clutter-free. You'll be so glad you did. Thank you Nancy!

She has been here several times. She is good and efficient. She keeps at it. I get anxious when dealing with paper and I wanted somebody that would really, really help me feel calm about it and that doesn't happen. I feel like stress gets to me. That’s the criticism that I would have of her. I don’t think I will continue to use her.

Extremely well. She came to my house 8/18/2010 and 08/23/2010, charged $55/hr, and worked 7 1/2 hours.
Description of Work: Nancy straightened and organized my son's room and the garden room and gave me new ideas about storage I hadn't thought about before, such as hanging all of my son's jeans and t-shirts rather than finding enough room to stack folded items. These rooms were beyond my manageability at this time, and she was extremely efficient in attacking the problems. Plus, she gave me incentive to tackle other areas in my home. I also enjoyed spending the time with her.

She is very efficient, does what she says she's going to do. She arrives on time and brings things with her to assist. She is very helpful, makes suggestions, and is great to work with. We went thru the entire contents of the house and she made herself available when I was available. She was very accomodating.

Nancy came in and gave me her estimate. She took a look at my junkie closets (which are rather small) and let me know that I needed to clean up the floor before we started work in a couple of weeks. When she got here to start working she went right to work in the closet by pulling out things and asking if they were needed. We then moved on to the other two closets and finally the bathroom cabinets. I felt completely overwhelmed but she kept pushing at it and kept me going. If it hadn't been for her I would have quit! I wound up giving up six LARGE garbage bags of stuff to donation and about three bags of just trash! My mornings run so much smoother now. Everything has a place and it's easy to get to. I'm so happy with the results and will hire her again to work on the kitchen and garage.

This was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anybody! Nancy was a pleasure to work with, showed up on time, worked with my schedule, willing to work as long as needed to get the job done. She was extremely organized and brought all needed supplies. Working with her, we were able to accomplish an extraordinary amount of results in a surprisingly small amount of time. As a reformed pack rat living in a small house and who inherited 2 houses worth of stuff, I had a lot to sort through. She was always kind and respectful of any attachments I might have had to items while still asking effective questions and helping me decide what to keep, to toss and to donate. Even when cleaning my incredibly dirty garage on a hot day, she remained pleasant, cheerful and fun to work with. Best money I've spent in a long time. I am thrilled with the results and will continue to hire Nancy for other projects as needed.

OK I HAVE HAD 2 ROOMS, YOU KNOW THE KIND, FULL OF JUNK. ONE WAS MY OLD OFFICE/SPARE BEDROOM, THE OTHER WAS A NEW OFFICE/CRAFT ROOM. I THOUGHT THERE WAS TOO MUCH CRAP TO FIT IN THAT ROOM, ENTER NANCY PEHAM. I FELT LIKE THIS WAS A LUXURY I COULDN'T AFFORD, BUT I'M SO GLAD I GOT NANCY TO COME HELP ME. THERE WAS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ALL MY STUFF, AND NOW I CAN SEE ALL THE SUPPLIES SO I WON'T WASTE MONEY BUYING MORE. IT'S THE BEST PRESENT I EVER GAVE TO MYSELF.
