Description of Work: They fit a built in microwave into our wood work.

Description of Work: Asked and received bid. Had owner and son come out and look at work to be done. I recently had my cabinets refinished and spent $3000. I needed the doors to the cabinets reinstalled as the painter did not do carpentry work. I was assured by owner and son that they could do the work with no problem. Asked for a receipt for monies paid as we went along and never received it. I was present in the house when the work began and would hear the owner asking the son how to do things which made me nervous so I asked them again were they comfortable doint the installing of the cabinets as I had just spent a lot of money to have the cabinets redone. They assured me again they could do the work. The cabinets needed hardware for handles and hinges which I bought at Elliot's Hardware in Plano. The hinges needed to be counter sunk in order for the doors to close. Instead of countersinking the normal way that carpenters install locks on doors, this man brought out a cutting tool and proceded to cut into each cabinet in order to counter sink the hinge. the cut the area half at least a 1/2 inch larger on both sides of the cabinet. The couldn't get the doors to close properly so they added magnets to each door. The magnets were only attached on one side so the swing about which is useless as far as the door closing. The also cut 2" off the cabinet above the refrigerator which I asked for so that a larger refrigerator would fit in the area. The line they cut is not straight. In the hall bathroom, they were to install diffrent knobs which I showed the owner and told him to install those in the bath. The son called me from the bathroom to tell me that he had made a mistake and installed the same knobs in the bath that were to be used in the kitchen. The kitchen knobs had 2 holes and the bathroom knobs had one so mothing could be done to fix the problem. Plus, I had to spend more money and order more knobs which we had to wait another 10 days for. They also cut down a cabinet in the utility room. The work was fine but the son painted the area where the cabinet had been removed and used one coat of paint so some of the white shows where it wasn't painted completely. I had to have surgery in the middle of all this which the owner knew before they started that I was to have the surgery and would call them when I recuperated. Once I did recuperate, I called the painter to ask what he could do a
