 + 1 moreScott Greenwood handled working with our Town Inspector and got the required permits and made sure that everything was done up-to-code. He ensured us that the new overhead porch roof was structurally attached to our main home and was pitched to handle future New England Storms, avoiding another collapse. He kept a very organized and clean work site and was always on-time. His professionalism and meticulous carpentry skills were above our expectations. The project was completed prior to the commitment date, which was very impressive considering it was a large job.
Description of Work: We would like to share our experiences with contracting Great Scott the Handyman. The first time we hired Scott Greenwood was to remove an existing overhead porch, which was partially damaged during a snow storm. He assessed the damaged and provided us with detailed specifications, recommendations and competitive pricing. We specified the options which we wanted to include in the final project. They included a sky light, rapped 8x8 pillars and shingled roof. We also wanted our new addition to match our existing siding. We also hired Great Scott the Handyman to install exterior and interior doors. Our house was built in 1941. His creative carpentry skills were needed, to ensure the proper fit of the new doors to existing not squared off, door frames. He did an outstanding job and really enhanced the character and charm of our older home.
