Description of Work: Installed system. Need follow up adjustments and program Control4 device. Installers can't program Control 4 and can't get the Geek staff to respond to needs for adjustments. I do not recommend this company.

We purchased a new t.v. & installation from Best Buy and Geek Squad. The television was delivered on time and no problems were experienced. The Geek Squad was a different story! They never called, so I called them 4 days later, the date of installation they didnt call and didnt show, after I had waited the day at home. The Customer Service dept wouldnt have a team come out until 3 days later. On that day a tech did show up only to tell me that he was alone and couldnt install a 70", which is the install I purchased. Customer Service wanted me to wait 5 more days for a 2 man team to be open. I completely understand miscommunication and mistakes in such a large company. It is the unwillingness to fix their mistake by sending a 2 man team immediately or the next day that earned them the F.
Description of Work: Didnt show up. Unwilling to help.

We talked to Ryan & Brad - Two of the managers there. When we talked to them, they were all about customer service. They took all the time in the world to answer our questions & help. They acted like they appreciated our business & want to make us happy. When we went back the second time, they remembered us & details about our previous interaction a week or so ago - our names, what we purchased & what we talked about. The first trip we spent about $600; the second trip was in the 3-digits as well & this was because we had such a great experience with them. We'll be going back for a microwave very soon!
Description of Work: We were there a couple times in August. We were doing comparison shopping for TV accessories.

I did not have them perform the work because they wanted to charge two to three times the amount of the person I had do the work. It was frustrating and it was complicated getting a hold of a real person, I had to wait through a menu on the phone and then had to wait for someone to answer. It was the complete opposite of user friendly.

WHEN WE BROUGHT IT IN, WE HAD THE WARRANTY WORK, BUT THEY GAVE US A HARD TIME BECAUSE THE SERIAL NUMBER WAS NOT ON THE CAMERA. IT WAS ONLY ON THE PAPERWORK. HOWEVER, AFTER SOME DEBATE, THEY DID ACCEPT THE CAMERA, AND COMPLETE THE WORK.
Description of Work: CAMERA WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. WE PURCHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM BEST BUY. WE TOOK THE CAMERA IN, AND THEY COMPLETED THE NECESSARY REPAIRS.

WE HAVE BEEN BEST BUY CUSTOMERS FOR YEARS. HOWEVER, AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE, WE WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. THEY FAILED TO BACK UP OUR COMPUTER BEFORE REFORMATTING, SO WE LOST ALL OF OUR DATA INCLUDING YEARS OF DIGITAL PICTURES. THEY NEVER CALLED WITH ANY STATUS REPORTS. I TRIED CALLING THEM, BUT THEY DID NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. AS A RESULT, I SPENT OVER 10 HOURS IN THEIR STORE OVER 4 DIFFERENT DAYS TRYING TO GET ASSISTANCE.
Description of Work: OUR COMPUTER HAD A VIRUS SO WE TOOK IT TO BEST BUY'S GEEK SQUAD TO BACK UP THE DATA, AND REMOVE THE VIRUS.

THEY WERE VERY TIMELY AND POLITE. HE HAD THE PART SO WE DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT. IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, SO IT WAS FREE. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE.

WE VISITED THE STORE ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND PICKED OUT THE WASHER AND DRYER WE NEEDED. SINCE OUR OLD WASHER HAD QUIT WORKING, WE NEEDED DELIVERY AS SOON AS PRACTICAL. THEY OFFERED A SUNDAY DELIVERY AND SHOWED UP THE NEXT MORNING AND INSTALLED THE NEW SET AND TOOK THE OLD SET OUT. IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS FROM THE TIME WE VISITED THE STORE, THE NEW APPLIANCES WE IN AND BEING USED.
