Do NOT use this service especially if you just purchased a brand new renovated house! I reached out to them via Thumbtack regarding a TV mounting and mentioned I don’t want the wires showing. I have NEVER had a TV mounted and trusted the “specialist” would advise me accordingly. They did give valuable input on the type of mounting bracket to use, but that’s it! They presented the on wall concealment option ONLY. I purchased a soundbar later and the plastic concealment obstructs the surround system mount. I thought “surely getting a TV & soundbar mounted is a common task”. So I go to their website and SEE that there is an IN wall concealment option! An option that was never mentioned to me! I reached out to the company again for the in wall/sound bar mount (I know! Why would I use them again?!). I asked for credit for the price of the on wall since they’re literally removing their own product to replace with another of their products due to NOT advising the customer of both options. In the process of removing the on wall, paint on my BRAND NEW house was stripped off! The technicians who did the actual work were wonderful, friendly, and great at explaining how everything works! However, the “management” here is absolutely atrocious! On top of that, the gentleman I spoke with wonderfully kept talking over me (please note the sarcasm)! I have 3 other TV/sound bars that need to be mounted and will NOT be going to them again. So if anyone knows of a good TV mounting service in Plano, please let me know!

I had a terrible experience with FixTman, and it caused significant damage to my home. The company installed a shelf onto my garage’s ceiling a year ago. The shelf was not installed into my ceiling’s studs, and it eventually failed and collapsed, destroying my ceiling as it fell towards the ground. After contacting the company and providing photos of the damage, we agreed on a repair cost. After several weeks of immaterial communication, I contacted FixTman to schedule the repair of their mistake. Despite promising to repair my ceiling and reinstall the shelf, they informed me that I need to hire someone else to repair the damage they caused because the damage is too severe, and the 30-day warranty is expired. Do not use this company; they won’t stand behind their work or take responsibility for their mistakes.

We booked via FixTman requesting a two person team to hang a heavy (150lbs) mirror and a lightweight painting. We sent detailed instructions for how the mirror needed to be hung and how large it was. FixTman assured us they were insured for the task. The technicians they sent were two young people who were unable to lift the mirror and had not been given the correct information about the request, so brought the wrong equipment. One of them told us he was 17 years old - which means he could not have been insured nor have had training to safely complete a job like this. They were very polite but we asked them not to attempt the task, given that they could not even physically lift the mirror, let alone hang it. Booker beware.

The job was to replace my old garbage disposal with a new one installed. The old and new are the same model. The unit doesn’t come with cord and plug connected, as most of the new garbage disposals on the market are. This job doesn’t require a licensed electrician. But FixTman can’t install garbage disposal if the unit doesn’t come with the cord attached under their policies. Don’t waste your time and money with FixTman.

Technician damaged multiple pieces/sections of our outdoor lanai set. He scraped the wicker and damaged the couch in several areas, the ottomans and the table. Instead of using a blanket or the cardboard boxes, he scraped all of the pieces up on our lanai floor. FixTman will not step up and resolve this and the exact response I received was, "it is your responsibility to supervise the technicians to avoid damages to your products!" That is the poorest customer service response I have heard in a long time.

Mound came to the house was very polite and professional. He did a beautiful job assembling two bunk beds and installed a tv wall mount. I highly recommend

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! 1. Original date of installation the person showed up 1.5 hours late without communicating that he would be late. 2. Did not bring the mount and then told me it was my fault. Asked me to drive him to Walmart to get a mount. 3. After telling him that I needed to go to work and could not stay he asked to reschedule for the following week. I told him I don’t need it then I needed it today but he still scheduled for the next week. After talking to the main office it was scheduled for the following day. 4. The person showed up and installed the incorrect mount (installed a flat instead of tilting) and tried to convince me that there was no difference. I then talked to the main office again and they tried to tell me the same thing. After educating them via google they decided to get the correct one and install. 5. The installation was crooked but I had no time left due to the installer showing up at the tail end of his window as well as installing the incorrect mount. 6. Rescheduled for a person to come fix it AND THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. After texting the number I had been communicating with they said the person tried to text and call me but that I never responded which is incorrect. 7. After finally contacting a new person they refused to answer why someone lied about contacting me but rescheduled for the next day. You’ll never guess what happened. 8. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. So I text again and the person says “I am still on a job so I won’t be able to make it until 5:30” which is 3 hours after the latest original time. No communication until I reached out. Please. For the love of god. Do not use this company. You will only be disappointed and have to dispute the charge like I am.

Majid was incredible..he was punctual, professional and is incredibly fast and knowledgeable..if anyone ever needed anything installed, you must call him..we are already asking him to come back for our furniture..thank you So much Majid!!!!!

It was great. They were on time. They got through challenges. They were very professional. They wore their mask on. They got the job done on a reasonable amount of time.
