I have been very happy with working with these guys. I called them out earlier in the summer when the system was operating at low efficiency. They took a look, gathered enough information to make a good diagnosis without doing tests that they'd have to charge me for, and made a recommendation. They weren't necessarily the cheapest bid (though everyone bids different products so you can never have an apples-to-apples comparison), but I felt that it was the best bid, based on the professionalism of the staff and the apparent quality of the system they suggested. There was no sales pressure at the time, just a recommendation to consider. Fast forward two months, and a different part of the system unexpectedly fails. They came back out promptly, took a look, and gave the honest diagnosis - the part is fixable, but it'd be $1200 and with a 12-year old system it just didn't seem like a logical step. They offered me a good price on the same system they had recommended before and we scheduled for the very next day. The install crew was also very professional and good. They worked quickly and were easy to work with, even being willing to let me go to work with the house locked up and give me a call when they were ready to come in and do the thermostat and testing (our attic access is in the garage). Efficient Home Solutions has a philosophy of replacing new virtually everything involved in the system, simply because it's better to replace it now, even if it's a few hundred extra dollars, than to run into continual challenges as little components fail every few years. They gave me good recommendations, even on things that fall outside their business model, and even on things that they could make money doing for me but that I could do for cheaper elsewhere. They offered me a wealth of financing options, and were honest that there's no such thing as zero interest financing, except that they as a company would be willing to eat the interest themselves if I paid a certain amount down, which we did. The financing process was quick and easy and will be very convenient for me. I recommend these guys for a quality job!

There was an emergency call this summer and they responded immediately and I am pleased with their response. The repair person did an incomplete job and the pump broke up 24 hrs later. They did it incorrectly, they accepted their mistake and they replaced the damaged part and corrected every mistake and did so without further charge.

They corrected a part. And made recommendations.

Great. Technician was friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

Technical did explain everything and is good

One of the first things the tech stated when he came through the door is that they replace roofs too. Somehow that felt a bit unnerving. That is not what I purchased and I didn't want a hard pitch to do a service other that what I expected. Anyway the guy went into the attic was there for quite a time and then came back with pictures. When he came into the kitchen he circled my island which again made me a bit uncomfortable. I had some other bills and items on the counter and I felt he was trying to read the documents. Anyway, he said I needed a fairly expensive part and that it would be a a couple of days before he could install. On his return I didn't see a box or any part in his hand. Maybe he had in his bag he used? Anyway he was again in the attic for what seemed a long time. He collected his payment and left. I never saw the defective part. The heater works but I am again wondering if he truly did install a part or any parts. Based on this gut feeling I am uncomfortable having this service technician or his company in my home again.

Our upstairs HVAC system is old and we're trying to do everything we can to make it last as long as possible. They came out and tuned it up and added a gallon of Freon. The unit is running great because of their quick tune up.

NO SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had an appointment for Tuesday. They called and asked if they could come today, Monday, between 4-5 pm. I told David that would be great. 5PM and no one had shown or called. Finally at 5:17 pm I get a call from someone named Jeff. He said he would be late. I said no you are late and I'll just move on to someone else. If they can't be on time for the estimate I doubt they would be good at service appointments. Lost an $8,000-$10,000 sale. Next.

Horribly. I called at 8am Monday 8/1 and asked Greg a few questions and advised him of my situation, He rebuffed me by saying even though they were 24/7 his computers were booting up. He requested my name and number and advised he would call me back once his systems booted up. I waiting until 0930 and called them back, I advised the female who answered that I had called previously. She had my info and advised an appointment had been set for tomorrow Tuesday 8/1 between 10-1130. I had already advised Greg I was unavailable during business hours. Plus I have health issues I never got to mention to them. Moving on

I purchased a 96 year old home that didn't have a single piece of insulation. I found Efficient Home Solutions on yelp.com and they had fantastic reviews there so I called them out for an estimate. David was fantastic, he walked me through the process & my options and explained the best way to insulate my oddly shaped attic. We ended up blowing in insulation into the flooring and installing batting on the walls that touched the upstairs bedrooms. David was easy to talk to and put me in touch with someone from his team for some additional HVAC work that I wanted done at a later date. I was scheduled to have the insulation done the following week and the two gentleman that showed up went above and beyond to keep everything clean and when they found that my intake was not properly sealed, they took care of it and let me know that it would have cost me hundreds of dollars of lost cold air if it had not been addressed. I was very pleased with my experience and with the company's transparency and assistance.

I saw a website deal that "included" 2 lbs of refrigerant and called after researching them here on Angieslist. The technician who reported to the property was polite, professional, and competent. He did a quick inspection to confirm my claim that that refrigerant leaked out and offered some option. I chose to simply refill and the 2 lbs of refrigerant was apparently included, but at a discount rate in addition to the service fee not for free. He put in the two and added "about an extra pound" which was charged as 1.5lbs extra. Though the price seemed higher than what I had expected, it was still much than what competitors offered. I didn't argue the discrepancy because it was mentioned when I originally scheduled over the phone and again while exploring options to get the a/c working again

Micah was on time, professional, worked very quickly to determine the problem and gave me the precise amount it would cost. He also answered all my general questions and was very patient with me and my dogs. I called last night at 11:30 and they were here by 10:00 am so the service couldn't be faster. Great experience!

Technician came out in the evening to diagnose why compressor was not running. He was very efficient in determining the problem was the contactor, which is about a $25 part. Replaced the part in about 30 minutes and decided to check the freon to see if it was okay. Everything checked out and it took about 10 minutes to write up the invoice. In total, it took about an hour. The bill was $359.00. I asked why so high when it only took an hour and the part was about $25. I also asked why didn't they charge me for the time spent on the repair and the part. I was told that's just what they charge for this job. I absolutely will not use this company again.

This is the second time I have used this company and they are very customer oriented. Rocky provided great service and I will not hesitate to use this company again.

The installation went without a hitch and we are back up and running. We are very pleased with our decision and the service. We do recommend this company.

The service was provided in a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional manner. The price was below one quoted by a company my home warranty provider had recently sent to my home. The service tech was a little late but very apologetic. I will definitely use this company for future a/c service.

Great! I cannot say enough good things about this company and David Rivera. They responded promptly to my inquiry. They scheduled the initial appointment quickly and were able to work with me for convenient scheduling. David is great. He knows what he's doing, explained it very well and I could tell he was honest and trustworthy. I was able to get three times more of the insulation with EHS versus the quote I received from Lowe's. EHS also provided easy and accommodating installation scheduling. I felt very confident about my purchase before the installation. Installation The crew was on time. Very nice, polite and professional. They did a great job with the installation. They even finished the job in less time than quote/anticipated. David also followed up after the installation to ensure I was pleased with the product and install. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and the entire purchase process with EHS. You can't go wrong using EHS.

They offered a special on Angie's List. I purchased it, gave my first 3 available dates via messaging. They responded promptly and gave me a date and a time frame. I waited and waited. When the time frame was up I called and asked if there was a problem. I was politely asked to hold, for a VERY long time, and the gentleman comes back on the line very apologetic to explain they don't service my area. EXCUSE ME? They didn't call ME to tell me that. They didn't message me to tell me that. I waited around for 2 hours when I obviously could have been doing something else. This is something that needs to be in their promo - the area which they cover.
