It was great! DT Air Conditioning was reliable, pricing was fair, installation was excellent and follow through has been good. They had multiple crews that worked together very well. They had one that came in and removed the old unit, the next one came in and took everything off, then the next one did the next part. They were extremely well coordinated and made this whole process smooth. I would recommend them without hesitation!

Awesome. Got a great deal on a New Trane System. Also got good duct work done and a wireless thermostat. Crew arrived on time. Very courteous. Worked carefully and cleaned up after they were done. System has been running fine for 3 days now. Got 2 years warranty and will get some rebate from utility company. I has called several other companies. Will recommend to others. Great price and service.

When it became time to replace my 5T & 4T HVAC units, I first visited manufacturers' websites and then independent review websites. I was shocked and dismayed by the many poor ratings and reviews of major-brand A/Cs. Then I came across a commentary that said the most important factor in the performance of a major-brand A/C-furnace unit is the quality of the installation--not the particular brand. I then focused my research on an extensive search of Dallas-area HVAC companies on Angie's List. I found some with overall superior reviews, but DT Air Conditioning and Heating just seemed to stand out; a major factor was the direct involvement of owner Dana Tovi in most, if not all, installation jobs. I called Dana and he came to my house the next morning to evaluate my needs, discuss options and provide guidance. I asked for bids on two Trane models for each of the units to be replaced, and within a day or two he emailed four comprehensive proposals detailing all equipment and services to be provided. I emailed several questions to which he promptly emailed answers, and then I accepted his proposals for the Trane model XV18 for both units. Promptly at 9:00am on the scheduled installation day, a DT crew of four installers arrived at my house in two small trucks containing the new HVAC units in factory boxes. They worked diligently for ten hours in early August heat to remove and carry away the old equipment and install the new equipment, and they did a great clean-up job. Dana was at the house for about an hour at midday to check on the progress of the job and then returned about 5:00pm for completion of the installation and start-up of the new A/Cs. Then he gave my wife and me a tutorial on the operation of the new thermostats, which are more complicated (because they do much more) than the old thermostats. Finally, he sorted through and organized all of the documentation. Each of the two new units consists of four components with separate owner manuals, model numbers and serial numbers. Therefore, I needed to file eight product registrations with Trane to qualify for the maximum warranty period for each component, but Dana took care of it and emailed me the Trane warranty certifying the registration of all eight components a few days later. About three weeks after the installation, I received a DT check for the amount of the Oncor rebates which had been paid to DT; this amount reduced my after-tax cost from $19,400 to about $16,900. It has only been a couple of months, but the new Trane variable-speed A/Cs have performed flawlessly and I am very pleased with them. If you need a new HVAC unit and want to work with a salesperson, you probably should call some other company; but if you want to work with a highly knowledgeable hands-on owner who employs well-trained hard-working installation personnel, I strongly recommend that you call DT Air & Heat.

Great work. Timely, professional, and reasonably priced.

Old unit - had to be replaced. Initial maintenance call - excellent. They explained everything in detail how they tested the various parts ,etc. We received bid for new AC/Furnance next day. Price was very fair and inline with other bids. They assisted with the Oncor rebate too - that was great. Slight delay on getting all the equipment from the carrier warehouse (not their fault) - and they worked very late into the night to complete putting everything in and running smoothly. Though they did not have a new filter to put in new unit - they did test the unit with old filter to ensure everything was working before leaving. The next day we bought bought and installed the proper size filter. Overall a good experience - will definitely use them again.

The technician who came out there did excellent work, very professional. He took the proper amount of time to inspect everything and do what is necessary. He answered all my questions and explained me the work done with patience. I am very pleased with the work and would hire them again if needed.

Very well. Besides the expected service, they noticed that a section of the duct had a small hole which they repaired and wrapped so I felt like they were being thorough and conscientious.

Called them at the last minute not really expecting the to accommodate on a Saturday as late as I called. They made the commitment and showed up spot on on the time we agreed. Fixed the problem for a reasonable price and educated me in regards to potential issues I could have in the future and most economical way to solve them over the next few year. Im a General Contractor and I know Subcontractors. These guys were not saling they were educating. I would recommend them over and over again. I found my AC guys. May even through them some of my commercial work.

DT Air is great. Another company told me my unit was shot and Dana quickly evaluated it, replaced a $150 part and our home was cooled back down! This all happened a day ago when the heat index was 108 - hottest day of the year and we were sweltering! I felt pressured to make a decision about this new unit (and spend $4200 doing it) and Dana came to us immediately, even though he had a full schedule because it was an emergency. He had it fixed in 20 minutes! All the things the other company said were not even a problem.

Job completed on schedule and budget. Skilled pros did a very good job. Easy to work with and accommodating to my schedule. They got me a rebate from Carrier and from Oncor to help with the cost.

Dana was knowledgeable, honest, and a pleasure to work with. I needed a completely new HVAC system for a total remodel. I replaced the old system that was housed in a closet and ducted under the house with a new system housed and ducted in the attic. I contacted four companies to come out and bid the project. I settled on DT Air because they provided the most competitive and honest bid. Most companies were dishonest or dismissive about the Oncor rebate but DT Air was completely straightforward. The owner Dana was hands on from the initial appointment through installation and activation. He assessed my needs and followed through to ensure those needs were met. As a novice acting as my own general contractor I truly appreciated Dana’s professionalism. Dana even registered my Trane products for me and sent me the registration confirmations. I’ve recommend DT Air to my friends and family and they’ve all had great experiences.

I waited a few weeks to write my review so I can provide a comprehensive assessment of the system that was put in. Overall I thought DT Air Conditioning and Heating did an excellent job on the project. I initially sought bids from 3 local providers found on Angie's list and DT provided the most competitive bid out of all of them. Dana was helpful, informative, and his bid was detailed enough for me to make an apples to apples comparison with each bid, as well as providing information for me to do my own due diligence and research online. DT gets extra credit for their transparent pricing and for providing an estimate that showed BOTH the manufacturer rebate AND Oncor rebate. They actually did all the rebate paperwork for me and mailed me the Oncor check a few weeks later. I eventually went with a Carrier system they recommended and am very happy with its performance after 6 weeks. Only hiccup on the project was that it took the team past midnight to finally configure the system to work correctly, which shouldn't have taken that long. It looks like the initial config was setup wrong with the dampeners on the new system. Even though the system worked fine over the weekend, I asked Dana to come out the week after to double check the team's work himself and he gladly did it. He inspected the system and it was fine, but made a few tweaks just to optimize performance. All in all A+ service and great value for what DT was able to deliver and the price that I paid.

Except for the pain in my already strained finances, the experience was awesome. The young technician "Z", was courteous, down to earth and friendly. Knowledgeable at diagnosing, and suggesting the proper repair ( look for and fix the leak the proper way). I do appreciate that DT AC was willing to work with me on the service and cost. 6lbs $475 R22 Freon, plus $79 service. June 2017, both AC units topped off. Will work with them again, thanks,

Everything was professional and for a good price.

I have called Dana, the owner, twice in the last 9 months, both times on a Saturday, the first on Fourth of July weekend. In both cases, he was there within two hours and had the problem solved within 30 minutes. On the second call, the part had failed. Dana replaced the part free of charge on both the part and the service. He topped off the Freon, which I was happy to at least pay him something.
