I can recommend DT Air Conditioning & Heating wholeheartedly. Dana and his team did an amazing and quick (single day) job of swapping out my old 2 ton and 4 ton ACs, furnaces and some additional duct work. His price was the best I encountered by far, which honestly gave me pause, but fear not... you are in good hands. DT is a member of the Oncor Efficiency Incentive program which provides incentives to encourage upgrading to higher efficiency units - a portion of this rebate gets passed onto you which helps with the price (along with Carrier rebates). The installation job looks fantastic including support bars, not just straps, to insure the furnaces do not sag over time. As the electronic variable speed motors on these higher efficiency units are expensive to replace, I would recommend surge suppressors on inside and outside units. They are cheap and provide a little peace of mind since surges are not covered by manufacturer warranties.

Had heat pump go out in middle of summer. Service was prompt and completed in less than 30 minutes. The guy knew what he was doing and went right to the problem. Used him multiple other times. Always prompt and courteous. I highly recommend him. I can not remember actual dates of service but it was probably between 2011 and 2014.

It went extremely well. Left a message on voice mail on eve of Memorial Day and they called back on Memorial Day. Told them I can wait till after the holiday and if they could come then. They came the next day said both units were bad and needed replaced. I agreed and they did it the work the following day completely. Quality job done extremely well.

Dana's team did an excellent job installing the Trane XR16 HVAC unit. They arrived on time at 9 AM in the morning, uninstalled the old unit, installed the new one and tested to make sure everything is working as expected. By the time it got completed it was 8 PM and they were still energetic. They also cleaned up any debris. Overall an excellent job. Would recommend. BTW, the price quoted was very competitive and Dana did beat other's estimate.

Dana worked around our schedule, even though it meant he had to do this work during the hottest (busiest) days of summer and we couldn't be available during the cooler weather. His installer was professional and courteous. Dana came to the job site to inspect the work. We've used DT Air in the past for seasonal inspections and they've always gone above and beyond to keep our HVAC running efficiently. Unfortunately this time they found a leak in the Lennox coil. We found DT Air through Angie's list and are very grateful for your recommendations and their continued service.

Dana and his team were great! After calling Dana on Monday, he came out the next day and emailed me two quotes later that evening. I asked for a quote on a third option and he was very quick to respond. Thursday, I decided to go with one of his original quotes with an upgraded smart thermostat and he was able to schedule the installation the following Monday. They were professional, fast and cleaned up extremely well. Zee came out with the two-man crew and informed me of exactly what they were going to do, how long it would take, described the warranty and labor warranty option and made sure I understood everything about the job. When they were done, Emerson installed and configured the smart thermostat and took me in the attic to show me the new system. I was truly impressed with the quality of the installation and the care that was taken. They actually left my attic cleaner than what it was when they started.

We received good advice and guidance from Dana about the best equipment for our needs, and once the decision was made the entire installation went well. We have used this company for service one time. That too went fine.

When my smaller HVAC system upstairs stopped blowing cold, I had another local HVAC shop come out to give a diagnosis. As it turns out, the condenser was shot and it was an old R-21 model, which meant that the condenser and coil (separate component housed in the attic) needed to be replaced. Oddly, the furnace was newer and was still good. They quoted $4,200 for a replacement of those components with a 14 Seer system. I called two more HVAC shops for bids (all three were highly rated on Angie's List in my area). Dana came out the same day with one of his technicians. After looking at the condenser outside and poking about in my attic, he pointed out the various components, gave the pros and cons of a full system replacement vs. a condenser/coil replacement, and pointed out that the existing ducting wasn't properly done. He got back to me with two quotes the following day, both for a 2-ton 16 Seer Carrier Comfort system. For the whole system (AC and furnace) it was $5,900. For the condenser/coil only, it was $3,950. Both quotes also included the duct work: replacing a 10" supply run with two 10" supply run. So relative to the first quote, these guys were less expensive, provided a higher efficiency system, and also replaced some ducting. They came out the next morning and finished the whole job by mid-afternoon. They cleaned up after themselves, were on time, did what they said they'd do, and were generally professional about their business. Also, I'm pleased with the new system. I'd hire them again. But I'm also hoping I won't have to.

There were no surprise charges and the a/c and heat worked as needed.

Reliant arrived quickly and did an outstanding job with the evaluation and repair of our downstairs heater during winter. They made sure not to make a mess and quickly found the issue being a dirty sensor and were able to clean the sensor and restore the heater in 30 minutes. They cleaned up after the work and made sure the system was working well before they left. We are very satisfied with the service.

Quickly found what the issue was. Rated the contractor with a overall "B" because of effort involved to fix this issue seemed over-priced for 30 minutes of work.

It went very well. Everything was done as promised. Dana was very knowledgeable. Apparently he knew the AC systems very well and could make great recommendations to improve the existing air ducts design. He did more than get the job done; he thought about our existing air duct designs, decided that they were not efficient, and re-designed the whole layout. We really appreciated that he took the initiatives to do a great job without being asked. The crew are capable, hard-working, respectful, attentive to details, and courteous. Wish every contractor company is like this one!
