Smooth. They did all 3 AC replacements in a single, long day. They worked until 1AM. Dana came in after and did a full inspection. He found a small thing not done right (some adapter missing) and is coming back to add it at no charge. He really cares that your units are installed well and that your system is done right. Definitely give DT a chance to bid if you are getting your AC units replaced.

We've used Dana and DT Air Conditioning & Heating for several years now. Recently, our 20+ year old A/C unit stopped cooling, and I contacted DT to quote and install a replacement system. Dana was very responsive, visiting the house and inspecting the unit same day, and discussing my options. We elected to buy a new system from DT which they were able to install two days later. Dana's crew arrived promptly at the scheduled time and finished their work same day. I can't say enough about how courteous and respectful his team were to us, answering any question we had and waiting patiently when there were things they needed from us. They covered all the flooring they would have to walk over to move equipment, and cleaned up any loose debris. Dana himself came by later that afternoon for a final walkthrough and inspection of the work. The new unit is working beautifully. I recommend DT Air Conditioning & Heating to all of my friends who ask about A/C services.

It was great. I used them for a while and it was fine. He was cheaper than anybody else. I've found somebody else who I'm using right now but I would use them again.

They did very good work. When they tell you they'll be there. Their work is excellent. That's why I keep using them.

We woke up and it was 50° inside. We called and they showed up within a couple of hours and fixed the problem. It was good. We've used them at least three times over the last several years.

They were phenomenal. I have used them more than once. I can speak very highly of them. I had them do some work on a property that I own. I would not hesitate to refer them or use them.

Price was high compared to another company. I did not use this company.

We had worked with Dana before and our neighbors had installed a system with Dana last summer and they were happy with his work and his pricing. We priced several Trane systems with several other Trane installers and Dana had the best price. Not only that, we sent him numerous emails asking all kinds of questions and he promptly responded always in a very professional patient manner. He never made us feel like we were bothering him or asking dumb questions. Other companies sometimes wouldn't call us back for days. Dana set an install date and time and his crew was here right on time. His workers were trustworthy and hard workers and answered questions we had while they were here. We would totally recommend Dana and his crew to any of our neighbors. He gave us several options between Trane and Carrier but since we installed a smaller 2.5 ton Trane with another company back in 2009, we decided to install Trane even if a few more dollars than the Carrier system. Plus Dana paid us a visit about 2 weeks after install since we were gone the week after install to make sure all was running great and that we were happy with the system. That was great.

Had appointment window of 8:30-9:30, he arrived at 8:25, had problem diagnosed by 8:30, ans had it repaired by 8:45. Punctual, professional, efficient. Couldn't ask for more.

We just bought a 20 year old home, which still had the original a/c and furnace equipment. Before we moved in, we decided to get both units replaced so we wouldn't have to worry about the old one failing since they were near the end of their life. I did some research on Angie's List and found DT Air Conditioning, who got top marks in my area from other members and decided to give them a try. Initially I called DT to have an evaluation done on the old system. Zee came out and gave us an assessment and did a few minor repairs with my approval to keep the system going. He was very professional and courteous so I asked him if he could give me an estimate on full replacement. That day or the next day, I received two estimates from the owner, Dana Tovi, giving us a few options on type of equipment. I got a quote from another reputable installer for essentially the same Carrier equipment, but found DT to have a better price so scheduled them for the job. Dana's crew arrived about 9am and went right to work removing the old equipment. Dana stopped by shortly after 9am to meet me, check the job site, and give the crew some direction on what needed to be done. He recommended adding two small air intake openings upstairs to improve airflow and overall efficiency. It sounded like a good idea and did not add much cost so I gave approval. Similar to Dana and Zee, his crew was pleasant and professional, very focused on getting the job done. They finished installing two entire AC/furnace units in about 7 hours including clean-up. Dana came back at the end to inspect the work and ensure I was satisfied. He also urged me to register the new equipment with Carrier on-line to double the manufacturer's warranty to 10 years, which I just did before writing this review. I had a great experience with DT Air Conditioning and highly recommend them for repairs or new equipment installation. We also plan to call on them to do our seasonal maintenance as well. Excellent experience with Dana and his team at DT. This is the 3rd time I have used him to replace an AC and furnace unit in the last 2 years. I used him twice 2013 to replace my upstairs AC system and again on a residential rental property I own. This time I needed my downstairs AC and furnace replaced. Dana is prompt and professional when answering calls and his team are respectful and very hard workers and know their job. I called around for other pricing but DT was the best price and undercut the competition by almost $1,000. From the time I called him, his team were at my house in just a few days to do the work. I only have good things to say about this company.

We had our heating system keep getting turned off during February 2015. We called several companies and they all suggested we replace our units as it it was 13 years old. We called several companies and got quote and Dana was very competitive with Angie's list discount as well. I liked the fact that there were no hiding fees. The detailed contract include the labor fee and parts fee, which the parts fees were standard price from carrier company. He also suggested that our house would not need no more than minimum size to reduce our costs down. After we set the appointment, the technician came and installed the units on April 2015. Technician was very professional and answered all my questions about the installation and units. Dana also followed up to me to register my units and parts to Carrier website to get covered by warranty. Down the road, in August, I heard rattling sound on one of my room. I called Dana and he came in checked the equipment. We assured that sound was coming from the unit on the attic coils, but he suggested to open up the vent in the room. He used plier and opened up the vent slightly and that fixed the ratting sound in second. We have no problem since then. When he was at our house, I forgot to register one of the parts and he even nicely took a picture of parts and sent me a text, so I can have the ID code on handy. Overall experience with DT Air was great and I would definitely use them again.

Absolutely great. I got four quotes, one from a well known McKinney area Carrier dealer whose price was way high, another whose price was maybe 10% higher than DT and another whose price was a couple thousand dollars less than DT. The one who was less got B ratings on Angies's List and many of the reviews caused me concern. The reviews I read about DT were all very positive so that swayed my decision. The lowest bidder's quote was the equivalent of a hand written back of a napkin quote whereas DT's owner Dana gave me a detailed proposal with part numbers and every aspect of the job spelled out. As an engineer I like detailed proposals so there are no surprises. The process started with a number of discussions with Dana who made recommendations that I now am totally satisfied with. The decision to go with the Carrier Infinity 17 AC units was perfect. The reduction in humidity has been huge so we are more comfortable at the same temperature settings and we can't believe how quiet they are. Going on Coserv's website we can see our daily electric usage dropped about 30% the day after the installation. That is what I expected replacing older SEER 10 units. As for the installation, despite the attic being over 110 degrees they did all three units in one long day. The entire crew were very friendly and polite, just wonderful people. They completely covered all of the floors from our garage door to the attic entrances so no carpeting nor hard wood was impacted. They completely cleaned up afterwards so there was no evidence that any work had been done. One thing that impressed me was the way the attic units were hung, Dana recommended a method that was not only structuraly better than our original installation but it also looked more professional. I like when a business owner takes pride in the finished product. I would absolutely recommend DT to anyone and would use them again if I needed to replace any of my units.

Monday evening I heard a loud bang and noticed that one of my units had tripped the circuit. It was after their business hour so I left a message, but I received a return call in about 10 minutes. I got scheduled for next day at noon. I received a call about 15 minutes before letting me know they were on their way. Two guys arrived promptly and went to check the outside unit. Found pretty quickly that there was a bad connection that had melted the plastic cap. They checked to make sure there was no damage to the unit and upon fixing the bad connection, the system came right back up. They checked several other things including the unit in the attic. Even checked the other unit that was not having the problem, which I really appreciated. Great service.

Both of my A/C systems went out, so I got quotes from multiple providers. DT Air's ended up being the most competitive, but I also went with them because they previously provided good service and were always responsive, punctual and trustworthy. The crew came in the morning and complete all work within a day. On a very hot summer day. They were careful to cover up the carpet and also cleaned up after themselves. The work was done very well and very thoroughly. I chose to install Trane, even though these were a bit more. DT Air also quoted Carrier and Lennox. I would highly recommend Dana and his crew for any A/C replacement or repair jobs.

Our upstairs air was not blowing cool air on Sunday evening. I called a service we had used in the past on Monday morning and was told they could not have someone out to diagnose until 7:00pm with an extra "out of normal hours" charge. I then called DT Air on Monday morning at 8:00am. Dana answered immediately. He said her could have someone out between 12:00-3:00pm. I said "great!" Well, at 9:45am, Dana called and asked if his guys could come out right now. I, of course said "Yes!". Zee and Bo arrived at 10:10am. Within 20 minutes, Zee diagnosed the problem and began the work on the 18 year old upstairs outside unit. It was a bad capacitor and a pound of Freon was needed. Zee went on to explain all of the details of what he was doing, while also saying "this and that look like they may need attention at little later". As you may notice, I am not an AC person and really am limited on my knowledge of "this and that". While Zee and Bo worked on the upstairs unit, I asked if they could, while they were here, to give the downstairs unit a check up. They said yes and started that process as well. The found no problems with the downstairs outside unit, but did find a capacitor problem with the downstairs attic unit. Zee and Bo also mentioned other issues which were not pressing but would recommend attention at a later date. Zee even took picture for me, since I was not in the attic with them. When all is finished, they gave me the bill which I thought was a very good price. After asking husband and others, I found I did get the work done for a good price. With my limited knowledge of the units, I could have easily been charged more, been told other items needed to be replace or repaired and overall be taken advantage of. This was NOT the case with DT Air. They were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I now have their business card magnet on my refrigerator and will be calling them again in the future.

Dana checked out the system, quickly found and repaired the problem.

Emailed DT Heating And Air 8pm and received a phone call from Dana within 15 minutes. Discussed my system issues and Dana scheduled a service call for the following morning. Dana showed up on time and diagnosed the problem. Gave me an estimate to repair and an estimate to replace. Estimate to replace was fair and scheduled a full installation of new outside and inside unit. DT's service reps showed up on time as scheduled, were clean and efficient. New 14 Seer system works great thus far and happy with my experience with DT.

He offered a good price. Was able to install right away. His team was courteous. He also sent out another experienced tech to double check the installation connections.

He installed the freon mentioned the coil which I refused. The technician appeared to be in a funky mood that day. I paid for the freon and the coil was brought up again. On the week of the 15 th, I couldn't find my dog, the gate to the side yard where the a/c's reside was wide open. After finding my dog, I notice the gray electrical box was wide open as well. Later that night the air in downstairs area was coming out hot. This might be a fluke which I hope it is.

Z came first and diagnosed the way the a/c was dripping outside. There was something about the way it was installed originally. (This was a new home when we purchased it almost four years ago.) The owner came over as well just so he could confirm Z's diagnosis. In the end, it didn't cost us anything additional and everything is okay. We were very pleased with their professionalism and follow-thru. So much so that I immediately send a message out to our neighborhood Facebook page recommending them.

Instead of taking the recommendation of another major service provider some months ago, we opted to try and get by without heating and cooling from mid-February until now. Things were OK until this 90+ degree heat and because we had used DT a couple of years ago to recharge the AC system, we called them again. Sure enough, they didn't try to sell us a complete replacement system on a financed contract, they simply fixed what was wrong - the fan motor, and put some more freon in the system. The technician was clearly qualified and thorough as well as being very courteous. It's nice to see smaller, independent companies who are focused on solving a customer's immediate problem at a reasonable cost instead of making up the profit by selling replacement systems.

It worked fine. They explained to us and they told us when the parts would arrive and they pretty quick. Whatever they said happened and I don't remember there being a delay or anything like that.
