Description of Work: I called on Monday and was told I would be contacted with in 24 hours. Called back on Wednesday and requested a call after 5 pm. No call has been received as of 9:30 pm. Must not need the business.

Description of Work: Corey Roeser had his team come in and repair sheetrock, remove wallpaper and paint after having my sewer lines replaced in the slab, there was a lot of damage to floors and walls. This team worked on July 4th and every Saturday trying to get thru all the repairs. It took just over 1.5 weeks but everything looks great. The guys were here on time and worked hard all day long. They were able to reduce the overall bid after they got into the work. Corey is a great project manager and I felt comfortable leaving the house with the subcontractors when I had to run some errands. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for remodeling, repairing or replacement of anything in your home. C. L. Scott

Description of Work: I got quote from this company along with 2 others to remodel my kitchen. Dfw improved was actually lower than the one I used. I went out to their showroom that was quite a distance from my home hoping to see some upgraded options from what I was seeing a Home Depot, for example. But I was disappointed that they had few samples and offered only low grade options for the price they quoted. When I called them to say I chose another company to do the work, the guy was very rude and sent me an email telling me I was making a big mistake. I was very happy with the company I ended up choosing to remodel my kitchen.

Description of Work: Repaired leak at satellite antenna mounting and removed unused furnace chimney. Included shingle removal, replace with new, cover chimney opening, appropriate sealing and repaint of all existing stacks and vents.

Description of Work: I decided to use another contractor even though DFW Improved was cheaper at first. I wanted higher grade granite and they quoted me a much higher price when recalculated. When I notified Robert of my decision he sent me a rude email. I would have considered them for future projects but I won't now.

Description of Work: I had a small area (about 8 in. dia.) of roof repair on an overall good roof. Jason Bailey came out promptly to evaluate the extent of work required and informed me that they would do the work for their minimum charge of $300. We did a temporary fix to offset any possible leak and he scheduled the repair to be done. Jason's workman came out yesterday to carry out the work with decking in the area and matching shingles. Both gentlemen were very helpful and professional in all respects. I will call on them again when needed and recommend them to family and friends.

Description of Work: Requested 2 quotes for repairs on 2 separate homes. The same sales person provided both quotes. He was professional and prompt, but not very helpful. The first quote was high for the work needed and we found another contractor who could do more for less. The second quote was ridiculously high. I also asked for a price breakdown for each repair (for the second quote) and this was never sent to us. I told my husband - I guess they don't need the business. That's a shame because we have a third house that needs some renovation, and I need to find a different contractor. The reviews on Angie's list were great for DFW Improved, but I had a disappointing experience and will not call them again.

Description of Work: I called DFW Improved and spoke to a person to schedule a time for an estimate. I was told that someone would call me back. It is two weeks and I am still waiting. Business must be good.

Description of Work: DFW Improved put in pendant lighting and did rewiring of the all the lights in our house. The fixed the garage door and the front door that wasn't shutting properly. They relocated some ceiling fans into rooms that did not have them.

Description of Work: Garrett - came out and took a look at my roof. I had a leak and in addition he notice a BIG dip in the roof. Garrett had a guy come out to do the work that was extermely professional and did a great job repairing the leak and the dip. I would highly recommend them - I used the 10% off coupon and saved -

Description of Work: Brian McLendon came out and looked at some minor shingle damage from the recent wind and rain. He gave us a very reasonable estimate and then came out the next day and completed the work. He made a recommendation for some minor future work that we should have done. This was all very professionally done and we are very pleased.

Description of Work: Replaced rotted wood siding, added crown molding in living room, painted all exterior trim. Recaulked all windows, exterior, and all exterior seams and joints. Installed new patio sliding glass door and trim.

Description of Work: Reworked a "problem" section of roof. These guys got it right while the leaking continued after 2 prior repairs by other contractors.

Description of Work: This company demolished and completely remodeled my master bathroom. They were scheduled to start work on Tuesday July 5th. No one showed up and no one called. I called on Wednesday and learned that they would not be starting until Friday. They worked all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They did ask permission to work on the weekend. I had been VERY clear at the onset that I wanted the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible. I was told that it would be a 2-3 week job due to the scheduling of the contractors and their availability. (This was later denied by DFW). We gladly gave permission to work on the weekend as we thought this was part of getting the job done on a timely basis. Then when Monday came no one came to work on the house for the entire week. No one communicated with us that there would be no one there all week. Work did not start up again until I called and asked what was going on. Then work started up on the weekend. That ended up being the modus operandi on our bathroom remodel. I had to call, e-mail, make lists, copy all correspondence to the owner or main rep (Gary) in order to get anything done by the supervisor on the job, Ben Stewardson. When I asked for tile samples he brought one and just left it laying on the floor. Since it was not the one I wanted I had to call and ask for more sample. All of the samples were out of the office so he told me to go to the tile place myself to chose the travertine I wanted. I did that and chose it and e-mailed him the choice. He was to order it that Monday and start the tile work Tuesday. I assumed all of that was happening until Tuesday when there were still no workers. I had to call and inquire and was told they had to measure before they could order. In the end the tile work was not started until the end of that week. This was the case on EVERYTHING they did. There was no supervision. The workers generally did a good job but were not supervised. Lights were installed by the mirrors unevenly, a broken mirror was installed, plumbing was installed improperly, painting was done on drywall with no sealing coat of paint, dirty surfaces were painted without cleaning, a partial wall was built with no stud in it for securing shelves, paint brushes were rinsed in the garden and paint splattered on plants, section of back yard grass was killed by paint rinsing, tear out debris was left in a trash can we use for fertilizer, trash was thrown in our closet. The list goes on and on. None of these items was remedied until it was e-mailed to them, usually twice and usually some amount of follow up. The job ended up taking over 2 months. When I called Gary at the end to sum up my dissatisfaction he was defensive at first. After an hour and a half discussion he took $700 off of our total bill and said that they were just very busy and had more work than they could handle. That is inexcusable. I do like my finished product and that was his main defense. It was too h****** me and my family to ever use this company again.
