My master bathroom flooded while we were out of town. Once we returned and realized what had happened, DFW was on site accessing the situation, had fans and blowers within 4 hours, had a quote in hand and then work began. They made an extraordinarily stressful situation manageable. They were professional as well as fast. I would high recommend this company and will be using them to remodel my kitchen in the near future.

These guys were fantastic. They came up with a better design that what I had in mind. The trades were courteous and cleaned up their work mess every day. The whole process was very easy and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend them.

Seamless! We had flood damage on the entire first floor of our home from a flood. DFW improved started helping us the night this occurred. They calling contractors for the clean up which occurred that same evening and then starting the restoration process as soon as it was dry. Replaced our Hickory wood floors (at our request) with a wood look tile that we absolutely love. The process was smooth and completed ahead of schedule. Gary stayed in touch with us daily with progress reports, photos and verifying the changes we requested were being implemented to our satisfaction. We highly recommend DFW Improved and will always look to them for any future improvements or emergencies that comes up. Thanks DFW Improved!!

What a great experience. From the initial consultation to design to project management, DFW Improved made our dream kitchen a reality. To be honest. I was worried that my kitchen would look how i imagined it would would. But the designer Kristie, selected the right colors and materials to make my kichen exactly as i imagined it would. We could not be happier with our kichen remodel.

DFW Improved offered a level of service that surpassed my expectations! They were professional, courteous, punctual, and the work was done on time and with amazing skill. We will definitely be using them again! Our outdoor kitchen and living space is perfect for entertaining. We love it and highly recommend them.

We had an incredible experience with DFW Improved from start to finish. We remodeled both our kitchen and master bathroom and were worried about how disrupted our lives would be during the process. DFW Improved worked quickly and efficiently to finish the job so we could get back to our normal lives. The guys working in the house were professional and kept the job extremely clean and organized. I would highly recommend this company for your remodeling projects.

The sales consultant was courteous and responsive. The in-house designer was also a pleasure to work with. The project manager was less responsive and, even at the time, we knew we would not want to work with him again. Some of the other subs/employees - especially the plumbers - gave a very bad vibe. The project seemed to go OK, with no major delays. Cosmetically, everything looked as we expected. Soon after the work was completed we started to learn about various mistakes and short cuts, such as inappropriate canister lights in a shower that would have obviously been against code to anyone but a layman like myself. We have come across much bigger issues since the work was performed. Part of the work to be completed was to address a delay in hot water to one bathroom. DFW Improved was supposed to change the source of the hot water to a closer hot water heater. This was actually one of the most important parts of the work. We found out later that the work had not been performed as described. We ended up with hot water looping around from two different water heaters. We did have DFW Improved out to fix the work, and we thought they had, but they did not. Every single plumber that we have had to the house since the project with DFW Improved has pointed out issues that are against code and done improperly. For example, we recently discovered that pipes that were supposed to be PVC were not. As another example, DFW Improved never carted away the old tile but instead just left it inside the new wallboard. The challenge for us has been that all of the work on the outside looked fine. But every time we look behind a wall we discover major problems. We are paying for those problems now as we have new work done. I have no idea how DFW Improved has so many good reviews on Angie's List, but I will likely not trust Angie's List again. Enough time has passed that I doubt I have much recourse with DFW Improved, but I hope other people will read this review and think twice before hiring the firm.

DFW did an outstanding job. They turned the house into an adorable cottage. When I put the house on the market, everyone commented on how much they liked the interior. I did not have one negative comment about the interior, only compliments. Every person I dealt with at DFW was kind and considerate. Their excellent customer service deserves an award of it's own. I would recommend this company to anyone and I plan to use them again soon at my home.

Did a great job painting but a little sloppy in regards to cleaning up each day and when project finished. Left lots of paint splatters on kitchen counters.

A quoted 4-week cosmetic remodel (+$45k) took nearly 4 months to complete. Final work quality was excellent but timeliness and initial quality (of many items) was poor. No change orders after 3 weeks, so no excuses there. I never caught the project manager Jason Austin on site despite my daily visits. Most weeks, workers only showed up 2-3 days. Several things had to be redone due to to quality or scope deficiencies. The in-house designer was great at first but became less responsive as time wore on. Communication was terrible and many items were done differently than we specified; some we could live with and some we made them redo. DFWImproved was expensive but to their credit they lived up to their reputation of insisting on my satisfaction in work quality. DFWImproved took responsibility for all issues and fixed them properly, although this added lots of time. If they had completed the project within even with twice as long as the original estimate, they would have received 5 stars.

Poorly; took nearly 4 months for a job quoted as 2-4 weeks by Jason. We had no change orders after week 2, so they can't blame it on us. Wish I could have fired them. Workers usually showed up 2-3x per week. Job manager Jason Austin was nowhere to be found. First day on the job they had tools, ladders, and boots all over a vintage hardwood parquet wood floor. There were many problems with initial quality, or changes from the agreed-upon plan (a result of the Job manager not having a clue what was going on because he wasn't around and didn't listen to our wishes). We've been burned by the "cheapest" so we decided to try the "best", unfortunately just because DFWImproved is the most expensive didn't translate to a better experience. They did fix their mistakes after I complained, but it was too little too late. Don't be fooled by their shiny pictures and great sales pitch. They will not commit or put a timeline in writing; the reason is so they can sign up too many jobs to properly focus on yours!

I had a deadline to meet and a little time to do this. I worked with Jaime and he was a pro from beginning to end. They were able to accommodate my schedule and did a great job.

We learned that the metal roof replacement was sub-standard with poor flashing and materials. Metal roof took extraordinary amount of time to complete Very disappointed with quality and timeliness of the work.

Considering the rain we got during the course of the work, it went very well. The various crews DFW sent out were exceptional. Efficient, professional, and generally took pride in their work. Happy to report, we finished the project yesterday and couldn't be happier. Thanks for a great job, guys!!

I was very impressed with what they had to say and how professional they are but because of the nature of my job I didn't use them. They came and did what they said.

DFW Improved should completely change their name. DFW Unimpressed? Or just completely take the DFW out of the equation...as they are in Frisco and don't travel to Dallas much less Ft.Worth. We made an appointment a week in advance for an Entry Door Install & FULL Bathroom remodel. In other words thousands$$$...then a week later, after multiple phone conversations & email confirmations...they cancelled the morning-of saying I was "out of their area". They had my address a WEEK ago when we scheduled. So, I map quested and it was only 40 min away. Apparently 40 min of driving isn't worth thousands to them! Well, thank you for wasting my time...as I took the day off to accommodate their schedule...costing me a days wage:/

They were great. I gave a 'B' for punctuality predominately because they were dealing with numerous sub-contractors who may not always have been on time - but, usually there on the same day as promised. They pulled out the old wooden floorboards (which had warped) and put in a new tile floor; replaced the toilet; the bathtub tile and fixtures; put in a new vanity; painted and cleaned the entire room prior to close-out. Very professional!
