D Town Movers

I hired D-Town Movers in August 2021 to move a piano. They were late and a bit difficult to communicate with on the day of the move, but that's not a big deal and wouldn't spur me to post a negative review. In fact, I have never left a negative review before online..until now. During the move, Edward and his 'team' gouged our newly-refinished floors with the piano and scuffed and dented the walls in several different areas. Instead of owning up to what they had done, Edward and his assistants tried to get away without disclosing the damage they had caused. They went to our garage WITHOUT our permission, got the wrong color and type of paint from the garage and tried to paint over the wall damage without even telling us what happened. They then tried to leave without acknowledging what they did..fortunately my wife noticed the damages and took photos. They took a problem they caused, made it worse, and then tried to leave without disclosing it. Pretty shocking. The overall impression we got is that they not only did poor job, but most concerning was the poor character they demonstrated in taking ownership of the damages they caused. It was then a struggle just to get in contact with Edward and then additional struggle to obtain a claim form. Unless your move is extremely simple, I would stay far away from this company.

They are careful and prep never damaged my properties, takes his time, great job, so available when we need them.

They were on time punctual, very professional friendly and quick.

Do not trust this company. They over book themselves and the. Leave you screwed if they cant do the work. We scheduled weeks in advance for a 12 in the afternoon move with a 3 man crew. Paid money to secure truck a and guys only to have the day of no one show up. They never called us. When we finally go ahold of someone at 3:15 the lady had to make calls to find out what was going on. We were told they were 30 mins from finishing and then head to us from an hour away so arriving at 430. Quite a while from a 12 pm schedule but wwe said ok. Owner then called me at 430 stating the guys were still way behind. They claimed the entire incident happened because of an elevator that they had to use and the guys would be 630 to 7 getting to us. We told him we didnt have a choice. The Owner was supposed to make a couple calls then call me back. He never called they shut off their phones and left us with no movers on the 30th of the month with a move out date of the 31st for us. No move takes 7 to 9 hours elevator or not. They are not professional and the fact they just shut their phones off and left us with nothing shows the integrity of the company. Do not use them if you see this before booking

I was very satisfied with my move can't even explain how happy i am because of the fast service. I thought i was going to spend way more money but that was not the case. Dtownmovers is an excellent company hands down the best moving company in town.

They arrive within the arrival window and called prior to arriving to let me know they were on the way. I had a 3 man crew who disassembled, padded, wrapped and loaded and unloaded all my furniture with no damages. They assembled the furniture at the new house which saved me the time and headache of having to do it myself. They placed all the furniture where I wanted it to go and placed all boxes in the rooms they needed to be in which my wife loved. The crew was very professional and always communicated with me on what was going on. There was no extra charges on the day of the move. Everything was wrote into the hourly rate!! Not only will I use them again but I will recommend them to all my family and friends. D Town Movers is the only movers for me!
