From taking the appointment to the service call, the experience was very good. The tech took the time to understand and test why the unit was low on 410A. Most companies, including the last one just fill er up and charge you - then move on. The tech traced the line and found a hole in a weld, and then proceeded to drain the system - repair the hole - and then recharge the unit. Almost half the cost was the 410A, and I thought the remaining portion for his time, welding and expertise was reasonable. I felt Devard's was sending me someone who really knew what to do and how to repair something - rather then just patch and go.

I called Devard's the morning of 10/02/2102 and in a little over an hour their technician Ray arrived to take care of our problem. He listened intently to my explanation of my observations as to what was wrong. He then went about diagnosing the problem. He determined that the control board and blower motor module where both damaged, He showed me on both modules where the damage was. He explained that they may not be able to get the parts that day. If they could he would return later that day and install them. If not he would return the next day. He returned the following day, installed the replacement parts and checked out the entire system operation. He noted that there was some water in the overflow drain pan and blew out both drain lines to ensure that there was no problem. He made sure that neither myself nor my wife had any unanswered questions before leaving. Ray provided extraordinary service and we would certainly continue using Devard's for all of HVAC needs.

Terrific customer service and workmanship! First time that I have used them and they were right on time and quickly and competently addressed my air conditioner issues of: 1) leveling the condenser unit and 2) checking and servicing the entire system. They are absolutely my "go to" heating and air conditioning company from now on - and, based on this experience, since they also do plumbing and electrical work, they'll be my first call for that work also.

Devard's came through for us in a pinch. Our A/C was losing it's effectiveness and I called Farest Horton around 5pm on a Tuesday. She had a serviceman out to look it over the next morning. He found the problem with the A/C (a valve was the issue), and "tweaked" it because he did not have the correct part. He told us it would be a day or two, but in the meantime our A/C will perform better. Sure enough in a day or two he came back, fixed the valve and we've been nice and cool ever since. Best of all our A/C was under Warranty so they only charged us for the first visit.A+++

We were quite happy with the work Devard's did on our 1922 bungalow to bring it up to code back in 2000. We only had $10,000 to spend on a complete heating system (the house had space heaters) for a 2500 square-foot two-story house, and complete rewiring from knob-and-tube--plus some plumbing pipe replacements, additional ceiling fans, servicing two huge attic fans--and probably more stuff that I can't remember. They came in under budget, and everything has worked since, except for the problem with the furnace. The guy who both supervised and performed a lot of the work is now in charge, and we'd definitely use them again. We're hoping they'll start dealing with geothermal heating/cooling so we can update our system through them.

Great...Showed up on time...Pulled out old units from the garage attic and replaced with new units. Works great and clean job.

They have been reliable and have honored their service contract. Their prices seem to be reasonable and I will continue to use them in the future.

They are friendly and the office staff knows you by name and responds quickly.

The service guy is very helpful, trustworthy and good about explaining everything when they are out.

This is really a great company. The owner is really nice too. Again, I have a yearly contract with them but unfortunately I do not have the bill here at this time. They are however very reasonable and well worth it. They show up on time and I have never had any problems with them at all.
