Clark Irrigation Systems

I woke up to my sprinkler on even after I had unplugged it. I called Clark and they were on another job but came before noon. Steve is very knowledgeable and efficient. I would highly recommend them!

This is the second time I have used Clark Irrigation. Both times the team was punctual, professional and affordable.

The waiting list was about a week long, but it was worth the wait. Mr. Clark and his helper showed up on time. I showed them the general location of the leak. Within 30 minutes they had found the leak and fixed it. The price was less than others had charged just to come out and look at it. I will use him again if/when I need to.

Mr. Clark and his workers took care of our issues quickly and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a professional irrigation system tune-up and general information. They do not do installations of new systems or major installations. They are for maintenance-and they do a fantastic job.

I called this company to see if someone could come give me an estimate on sprinkler work. The guy that answered the phone told me that they do not give estimate and said that there cost is determined from time and material use. I said so you will never know the total cost till the job is complete and his answer was yes. The person on the phone was not very helpful or did he ask any further questions about what I needed or provide any additional options to help me better understand what it might cost. It just didn't seem like he could care less about my business. I would be cautious to use a company that will not give you a rough estimate on services. I was not asking for a to the point dollar amount but instead a rough number to see if this project is even possible in my current budget. Skip the surprises and use a company that is forward with costs.

It went great. They showed up on time, they were fast efficient and very friendly. They did a great job.

It went very well. Steve and the guys were on time, they took care of everything in an hour and half, replacing two heads, installing a new control box, and replaced 7 pop-up heads and 12 spray nozzles all within that time frame. I couldn't have been happier. I had a previous company come out for a Angie's List $59 tune up deal (waste of money) and they tried to sell me a completely new system for several thousand dollars and told my wife that the system was too old. What a bunch of crap. If you want someone who has done this for 30 years, will give you very pragmatic advice and not do anything more than is required, and not overcharge, Steve and Clark Irrigation the way to go. I

I've used Clark Irrigation before, and I've always been happy with the service. This time my sprinkler system lost water pressure. Clark came out promptly, quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it by replacing the backflow valve. The system now works better than ever. I watched and chatted as the work was performed; they were quick and careful, and they did an excellent job restoring appearances around my valve box. They take pride in their work, and I appreciate that kind of care.

I noticed our pool was not filling up as usual when the sprinklers are running. I called Clark and set up an appointment in the morning and two friendly nice guys that work with Steve came out and quickly went to work. They first located the valve needing repair, which was under a stepping stone, removed the stone and dug and replaced the valve/solenoid. Everything works fine again. Took about an hour. I will use these folks again if needed.

Mr. Clark called me in advance to advise that their previous job was taking longer than expected and there would be a 15 minute delay - a much appreciated heads up as I would have to leave work to meet them! His team showed up right on time and went to work immediately. No joke, there was a shovel in the ground within 60 seconds of arrival! They proceeded to work with me to review the whole system, identify the issues, and make the corrections. The key for gaining my 100% recommendation was the Clark team's work ethic. These guys have been with the company for almost 3 decades and were all business. Not a minute wasted! Thank you, Steve!

Alex and his father performed the work Clark the owner was on site and supervised as well as explained some best practices on maintenance. They Arrived on time and were very pleasant. Minimized impact to surrounding grass and inspected all work when complete. I would highly recommend them. I called around to several companies and got everything from several hundred dollars to we can only give rough estimates and the work will dictate the cost.

They fixed the problem but my issue was he marketed himself as two people, just like every other irrigation service. His prices were higher than most others but I thought I'd be getting 2 man-hours for the hourly price. The problem is Clark is a very old man who does no work and his "assistant" who speaks no English does all the work. Additionally, Clark's Spanish is bad so even communication to tell the guy what to do took a while. It ended up talking much longer than with any other service and to boot he rounded up on his hours. Good work but poor value.

I had some routine summer maintenance I wanted performed on my sprinkler and soaker hose systems. When I couldn't get my usual irrigation company to answer their phone, I found Clark Irrigation on Angie's List. They answered the phone promptly, determined what work I needed, and made an appointment at a date and time convenient for me. They showed up at the agreed on time and date, went right to work, and took care of the problems. I am very happy with their response and work. I will use them again in the future.

I needed to move some sprinkler valves for some work I was having done in my yard. They came out, trenched for the new line, and moved my valves, reusing the ones I had. The price was a little higher than I had expected but they did bill at time and material and it took a couple hours longer than expected because we received about 4 in of snow while they were working.

Great. My sprinkler system would not turn off on Friday night. I shut off the water to my house and was concerned I would be without water for the weekend. They came out within an hour of me calling them Saturday morning, determined a valve was stuck open from a piece of gravel likely from a backup of the city water system, and got it repaired.

Their service is absolutely terrific. He scheduled us, came right out and knew what he was talking about. He has outstanding prices and got everything fixed. I give him A-plusses. I think he has a lot of integrity and does very good work.

We really appreciated the work done by Steve. He seemed like an honest guy and was to be frank, very inexpensive compared to other irrigation experts we've used in the past for repairs. He is a no non-sense guy but will answer any questions you ask - but isn't a talker but don't let that throw you off. He does what he says he'll do and does it well. He explained the new control box so I could follow and had me do some adjustments so I could get comfortable with the system. This system will accommodate Plano's every other week water requirement. His worker made the repairs to our current system and I was amazed at the improved coverage with the new heads. Would definitely recommend Steve - and have.

Charged a very high amount of money and didnt even do the job adequately. Be aware!

The team at Clark did a great job on our sprinkler system. Came out to fix one issue and found a handful more while they were here. Very happy with the final product.

I called these guys at 7:30pm and they called back in probably 15 minutes. I spoke with the owner the whole time and he happily laughed when I told him the quote the plumbers told me. He came out with another guy the next morning, calling ahead to say he'd be 10 min late (which I don't mind) and also called the night before to make sure that I was ok with a $50 turnoff instead of a $25 one. They arrived, got to work, and as far as I can tell at this point all is well!

After the landscape company who installed the new sprinkler system could find the leak we had Clark out. They found the issue, repaired, and on the invoice wrote out what was causing the issue. We were able to provide this to the water company and they adjusted our water bill some. Not many contractors would go to this length to help. Thank you Clark Irrigation!!!

Arrived on-time. Fixed primary issues and probably saved me a couple of hours work next spring. I will be using Steven again.

One zone on our sprinkler system would not shut off. My husband tried to fix it but eventually the main valve had to be disabled. With the water disabled, three of the zones were continually pulsing so they're disabled also with the water still shut off. I picked Clark Irrigation and he lives up to his awards. He responded promptly even though it was 7pm when I first contacted him. His rates were consistent across our other requests. When I called to schedule service, it took about 15 minutes of Q&A before he confirmed what we thought, the most likely problem was our 9-year old controller installed by the builder. Not only did he schedule service quickly and confirm the controller was bad, he and his helper did an exhaustive search and tuning of the system. They found pipes that were busted when the cables were buried. We learned that all those geckos keeping the insects out of the garage made a nest in our controller that we couldn't see. The ammonia build up didn't help the controller. Make sure you seal the holes into your controller. Last but certainly not least, they took the time to teach us how to use the new controller. We have water restrictions and something in the rules is different every time the Stage changes (1,2,3).

He came out quickly and on time. Fixed the leak and returned two days later to fix a second leak that appeared and to fix the wiring issue. He and his employee did a wonderful job and I could not recommend them enough! We will always use his services if in need again. Excellent service!!!
