Description of Work: I purchased a consultation to get an estimate for vinyl or laminate flooring, with carpet as a last resort. The only samples provided were three carpet boards. My estimate sent did not include an estimate for laminate OR vinyl, but did include carpet and tile. However, it was never clear what areas were estimated for each material. |The bad impression was too much to get over and I won't be pursuing a new estimate. Our floors will come from elsewhere.

Description of Work: Jason came out to give us a quote 5-23-15. He wanted to sell us their product and installation. When he found out I had my own vinyl and only needed installation (which the offer said they would provide $400 of installation)he said they could not do the work for that amount and that Angie's List has listed their offer incorrectly. He supposedly called his office and Angie's List yesterday to report the confusion.

+ 0 moreIt went amazingly well!! I worked with Jason. He is timely and responsive. The thing that impressed me the most was that he asked for my business. He knew I was getting 3 bids and said that if another bidder had something he didn't show me or had a lower bid that I should let him know so he could see if he could meet or beat it. One of the other bidders had a flooring color I liked better than what Jason showed me. I called him, he found the flooring I wanted, and he met the other bidder's price. Once the contract was signed we set an installation date. His installation people were terrific. They knew what they were supposed to do and did it in a very business like manner. They even cleaned up at the end of the day. The other thing that impressed me was the supervisor that stopped by to check on the work being done and to ask if there was anything that he could do to make the job better. He stopped by both days the guys were here. Bottom line, C&J did an outstanding job for me. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a floor and I would use them again!
Description of Work: Removed old carpeting, moved furniture, and put in a new luxury vinyl plank floor in living room, dining room, master bedroom, and a couple of hallways.

+ 0 moreThe communication was on point as well as the time in which it got done , I have told all my close friends and family that they should reconsider getting hardwood. I was very pleased with the install and the stain too. It really makes my rooms look amazing. I am very pleased with C&J and would defiantly use them again .
Description of Work: I had hardwood installed finally and pulled up the old carpet. I got a red oak %2. I had it installed and stained with grain. I can't tell you how wonderful it looks. Not only does it look wonderful they had it done really fast, I had a really nice sales representative come out and they were very helpful. This was my first time I have ever gotten hardwood nailed down and they were very knowledgable about there products and communicating with me . I would recommend them for sure to all my family and friends. I even had a couple other places come out and give me estimates and I learned more with C&J and saved a lot more money.

+ 0 moreThe job was explained great? Jason told us exactly what the schedule was the entire process. He walked us through each step so we were part of the process. When he first came to measure he showed samples of the wood, showed and explained the difference between a cross grain scrape and with grain scrape. He also explained the reason they leave gaps at edges for expansion. This process was very smelly but we knew what to expect.

CJ Flooring and Remodeling Services offers the following services: Being a full service remodeling company we specialize in the Sales and Installation of all types of Flooring, Carpet, Ceramic and Porcelain Tile, Hardwood Flooring, Hardwood Refinishing and Vinyl. Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling, Counter-tops, Marble & Granite, Custom Cabinets, Cabinet Refacing and Restoration, Interior Design tips and advice as well as General Remodeling, Modular & Mobile Home Remodeling, Interior and Exterior Painting. If you can imagine it, we most likely can do it.
While we are a full service company there are a few things we do not do, mostly small repair jobs such as stretching carpet, tile repair, or repairing wood flooring that is no longer available from the wood manufacturer. We do not install windows, doors or garage doors nor do we do landscaping. However if some of the things we do not normally do are part of a larger job we will consider doing the work, although that work would be sub contracted to another trusted company we do business with.
