+ 1 moreI had been admiring a yard in my neighborhood which looked fabulous, finally one day I saw the Cititurf truck outside their home and immediately called for service. I receive a lot of junk mail for lawn service which I look up reviews for on Angie's List, and they were mostly poor rated companies. Cititurf had great ratings and for good reason. My yard looks great and the men who work on it do a great job, no corner missed, no leaf left on the ground. I get regular email updates from the company about seasonal changes which I like.
Description of Work: I receive routine fertilizer and weed control treatments. During the summer months I have biweekly lawn service. I have had a little bit of seasonal work done on the yard and trees.

+ 1 moreThey are very prompt, pay close attention to detail, they mow, edge, weed-trim, put down pre-emergent/fertilizer, clean-up after storms. I have not had them do any time of ground covering because their prices are little high but that is just because I can do that stuff myself for less. I have been very satisfied with their service to date

+ -1 moreI recently changed to Cititurf for lawn mowing and edging services. They do a very professional job and the edging is superb. This has helped somewhat on containing the grass from coming into the beds. They also do directional cutting, changing each week which also looks great. They also clean up and blow any cuttings away off patio and it looks great when they leave. Would definitely recommend.

Whenever I have any questions about my trees, they come within a day or two to examine and give me advice, free of charge. They basically take care of everything in or on the ground around my house. Can not recommend them highly enough.
Description of Work: I have been using Cititurf for 4 years. They do my mowing, fertilizing, trimming, weeding, they have put in mulch, they trim the trees, they come whenever I have any problems.

+ 0 moreThey did real well. They’re very good and their customer service is really good too. They were supposed to come out one day and they didn’t come out. They no called, no showed so I called and talked to the manager and he gave me a couple of free treatments. They took care of me ever since. I would tell the others that they should definitely call this service because it’s really good.

+ -1 moreCititurf has done a fantastic job taking care of my lawn. I really appreciate that fact that they are a one-stop shop that does everything I need with respect to lawn care. My lawn has never looked better. They are always on time, and if there is some reason for a delay (typically because of rain) they send out a prompt email letting me know that there is a delay and when they will be back.
Description of Work: Cititurf takes care of all of my lawn needs including mowing. fertilizer and weed control, and tree and shrub trimming.

+ 2 moreWhen two-man crew arrived I showed them where I wanted flowers planted and which shrubs to trim and which areas were to be mulched. They performed all work as instructed and did a good job.
Description of Work: Last week they planted flowers, pulled weeds and put down mulch in all beds. The crew was thorough and did a good job of all tasks. We have used Cititurf for around 2 years for weekly lawn mowing service and occasional additional services such as trimming, planting and mulch. They have always done a good job, the crews clean the area well if there is a need and the prices are reasonable for the work performed. Whenever I have a question or concern and have contacted the office I am treated with great professional courtesy and issues are quickly corrected. I am extremely satisfied with them.

+ 0 moreOur yard was pretty much dead. We have large trees and our lawn gets only average sun. We have watering restrictions in our area as does most of North Texas so I can guess that our lawn wasn't getting the water it needed to flourish. The reviews and promises on the City Turf website sounded excellent so we gave them a try. First we had our lawn aerated and then City Turf came in and did a lawn analysis. The following Tuesday, they sprayed their treatment. This continued for 3 treatments @$37 a pop and no significant results. I called and they sent someone out in less than a day to perform another analysis. They said they saw some kind of bug and sprayed for that at no charge. The treatments continued regularly and even on one occasion, they did a free retreat but still no results. I decided to stop the madness. I called to cancel my service and they apologized multiple times and passed me off to other sales reps that tired their best at keeping me as a customer (I think I even talked to the owner himself at one point) but I wasn't happy and they reluctantly canceled my service. I truly believe they are good people but I just don't understand the disconnect. I could clearly see that my lawn didn't look any different but for some reason, I guess they couldn't. I think this year, I'll spend my money on bags of fertilizer and grass seed in hope of getting something I can be proud of.

+ 2 moreAwesome. Great company. If you need anything done you can email them and they will respond. If they have questions they will call you back. Every time we have asked for something special they have accommodated.
Description of Work: We have used Cititurf for over a year now. We had them start out just cutting the lawn. We were satisfied with there performance on cutting the lawn we started having them do the fertilization and pest control. We were once again satisfied with that, so we had them start trimming the bushes and trees. Everything we have had them do they have done a good job at. We used other companies before and we always had some issue. Cititurf has a lot of different crews that perform different functions. So If you want you trees trimmed it probably won't be the same crew or at the same time they cut your lawn. So this may seem to be more expensive than a one crew does it all shop. But what I have found is each crew is really good at what they do. We had the one crew does it all and they would do an ok job at best. Last year they came out to fertilize and the guy ran out of some special treatment that we needed. It was only have the grass by the curb. So a very little spot. He wrote on the ticket that it was not done and that he would come back the next day. He did. It was suck a small portion of grass. I am not sure others would have said anything or came back. So I think this shows the quality. I will say they are about 10% more than the other companies we used. It is worth every penny. My grass has not looked better. Plus I don't have ant's or insects. I think the price they charge for bush and tree trimming is actually cheap. We get it done twice a year.

+ -1 moreSo far, the back yard looks better. They have been very responsive to my questions and observations. When I called them to let them know it didn't look like the bermuda was dying, they responded right away with another application of Round up. As we are still in the middle of the process with our lawn replacement, I can't fully evaluate them on their work yet. I will once they complete the project. Thus far though, I am pleased with their responsiveness, their desire to do a quality job, and their knowledge and professionalism.
Description of Work: I hired Citi Turf to fertilize our turf and kill weeds in our back yard, replace bermuda with zoysia in the front yard, and plant seasonal color in our shrub beds. Thus far, our back yard looks better. We are still in the process of killing the bermuda in the front before zoysia grass and seasonal color can be planted. I will finish my review once that is complete so I can write a comprehensive evaluation.

They will tell you when they plan to complete the job in the email and have a pretty good turnaround time. I have always been able to get someone on the phone when I call them, they have an office, and just don't work off their dashboard. They have an excellent price, considering the market, although realistically, it's not what you want to pay. They're out here the day when they say will be or send an email, I work downtown, and they're mowing when I'm not here. I will continue to use them in the future.

+ 0 moreThe weeds had gotten out of control under my watch, and they virtually disappeared after Cititurf's first visit. My lawn was much improved. After that, I signed on for the weekly mowing. They came when they said they would, they left the lawn looking great, and best of all, they were very responsive to my requests that they keep the gate closed so my dogs wouldn't get out. I occasionally will email them with a question, and I get a call back within a couple of hours to answer my questions in real time. They also charge my credit card when they say they will, and the amount is consistent with the quote. All in all, I am very happy with them and look forward to a good relationship going forward.
