I've been with them for over a year. They're reliable, and they're consistent. They charge $37.50 per man hour, and it's reasonable. All I have to do is call them if I need extra service, and its still $37.50. They're very easy to work with, and I'm satisfied.

We selected Cititurf from the internet since they indicated they wrapped palm trees and verified reviews on Angie's List. We had used another company in previous years but their price increased quite a bit and we needed to find another company as we had to have our Mexican Palm trees wrapped along with our sagos. In order to get the palms wrapped we had to sign up for another service, so we now have lawn feeding service also for the year. They provided us an hourly charge amount and thought we were squared away for them to come out and wrap our palm trees within the next couple of weeks (before Thanksgiving and when the Texas weather turned cold - don't want to see the guys having to work in cold temperatures if they don't have to). One guy came out and looked at the palms and indicated that they normally just wrap the trunks and not the fronds and they didn't know about the sagos as they hadn't wrapped any of those before. In the past we had the entire tree wrapped up, including the fronds since you don't want ice getting down in the center of the trunk - it would be an expensive replacement if the palm tree died. The sagos you need to wrap also to protect the center and hopefully keep some of the frond green. The guy wasn't sure if they would be able to wrap the larger Mexican palm trees because just the trunk was 8' and then to add frond height on top of that made it about 12' tall for 4 of them. After much discussion, they ended up coming out with 3 guys and wrapped the trees, it took them pretty much all day but they worked every minute of it except for a short lunch break. For it being their first time at wrapping the palm tree, fronds included, they did a great job at corraling the fronds up into a nice grouping at the top and of wrapping the sagoes (we had 30 sagos and 6 larger Mexican Palms). We were really impressed and the workers were very polite and everything went smoothly. We will definetly use them again to wrap the palm trees for next winter - a bit expensive but worth not having to try to do it all ourselves. Everyone we have been in contact with at Cititurf has been very nice and professional - a good experience so far.

I switched to cititurf in the spring of 2014 to take over my weekly yard maintenance. These guys do a great job and lawn always looks good after they leave. The office is very responsive and usually picks up or returns calls very quickly. The price is very competitive. I am very happy with the service and plan to renew in 2015.

Great company. They did everything they said they would do. Also very good at communicating. They turned our lawn around from prerry bad to great. They know their stuff for sure. Any problem will be handled right away.

Cititurf takes care of our year round lawn service as well as trimming the bushes. They are professional when it comes to the service they provide however there is usually a long wait time before any "unscheduled" work is done. I cannot call them on short notice for any type of work. This has occurred twice within the past 6 months. We recently needed a leaf clean up in a hurry for our property. Setting the time and date for the clean up was challenging. They first told me it would have to take place within 7-14 days. Meanwhile our two huge oak trees were dumping leaves onto our property as well as our neighbors. The leaves seemed to fall all at once but probably really within a 4 day time period. When I called to schedule they were reluctant to give us an earlier date. We simply could not wait one to two weeks for a leaf clean up considering our situation. Our neighbors looked askew at us because the leaves were blowing into their newly cleaned up yards. After trying to schedule the service myself to no avail, I asked my husband to call, which was irritating. During that call he continued to get a gentle but firm push back on an earlier date. Finally he very calmly suggested he would have to find another service provider unless Cititurf scheduled us sooner. The receptionist said she would refer our plight to a manager and so within a day we got call back from Nathan, who was very professional. He told me that they would send out a crew within two-three days, a lot sooner than the original estimate of 7-14 days. They performed the clean up within two days and did so yesterday and did a good job...it looks like a new house without a blanket of oak leaves everywhere! They even cleaned out our garage gutters. Nathan actually called me before they arrived letting me know they would be running late. I thought that was a courteous approach and appreciated that very much. Nathan was instrumental in our not changing companies. Perhaps Cititurf should hire a few more workers during fall season to accommodate their existing customers. We will continue to use Cititurf, however we know now that if we want something done quickly, we may have trouble doing so.

I am very pleased with them. They are fast. They come when they say they will be here. They are very professional.

We receive an email giving us advance (24 hour) notice of the treatment and we have had no problems. This is our first year using a professional service and we can see the overall positive results.

I received about 3-4 quotes from other companies and CitiTurf came in around middle of the pack (a little higher than the questionable guys and a lot less than the nation-wide guys). CitiTurf was very responsive to my questions and by far the most informative. I signed up for their annual service, which includes a number of strategically placed weed and feed applications for the lawn. The results were noticeable almost immediately; the weeds that had been unscathed by the high-end store bought brands died very quickly and the lawn greened up shortly thereafter. Within no time we had one of the best looking lawns in the neighborhood. After it is all said and done, I'm spending just a little bit more than the DIY options, but am getting far better results with CitiTurf. CitiTurf has always been on time, professional, pleasant to work with and communicates with me very well via email (I receive an email in advance of their service reminding me to make sure pets are inside/gate locks removed and within a few days they send an e-receipt as well). I highly recommend them to anyone looking for lawn care services of any kind.

We hired them back in May because we were planning a wedding. It was a really busy time for us. I had called them up and they were out within a day of me calling them. They were able to give me a quote over the phone of what it would cost. They were very transparent with their staff and what they would be doing. They always came out when expected. They did edging, mowing and blowing. They did a fantastic job. They said they would always send the same guys out to do our lawn and they have. They were very good and did a good job. Their prices were competitive as well.

Went great - I have every other week mowing and they are punctual and professional each and every time.

CitiTurf has been maintaining my lawn for almost 2 years and the work has always been fabulous. When we moved, getting a final mow and starting new service at our new home was set up with an easy phone call. Also, as part of selling our old home, we had them lay sod in a large shaded area of our back yard where the grass had difficulty growing. They made suggestions of grasses that would work well there, and they even used the extra sod on shaded portions of the front yard. The work was great, it made a big difference in the look of the landscaping, and the ultimate sale price of the house. On a few occasions, sprinkler heads were broken during mowing (at least I assume it was during mowing), and they were out fixing it right away, no questions asked. I have even used them as a contractor to fix sprinklers that my crew broke. Their pricing is fair, and the work is outstanding. One time, while paying via their online payment port hole, I accidentally forgot to enter the decimal point when typing the payment amount. Consequently, I paid 100 times more then I was supposed to pay. I would not have caught it until I got my credit card bill, and quite possibly may not have caught it then either, but CitiTurf caught it, called me to let me know, issued a full credit and I just paid the bill again (correctly this time). Overall, definitely an honest, hardworking, good company worth doing business with.

Simply the best lawn care, weed control and landscaping. I have used them all year and continue to be impressed wi their attention to detail and outstanding customer service. I've never done business with a company that provides the level of service and customer satisfaction that Cititurf provides.

They're pretty honest. It's clear what they do and what they don't do. Their communication is good, and they come on time. They also provide a breakdown for each service.

We have used CitiTurf for several years for weekly lawn service, weed and insect treatments, leaf and garden cleanups, irrigation repairs, and sod installation. In every case they are prompt, thorough, and professional, and their prices are very reasonable. When we want something changed or fixed we only have to ask once, and it's taken care of. We've recommended CitiTurf to several friends, and they are all as happy as we are.

When initially setting up the service I specified that I had two large dogs that frequently are in the back yard. I communicated with Marty by email to get a quote and they were responsive and friendly. In their notes and my confirmation email they had "** Crew instructed to knock on door to make sure dogs are put up and to be careful trimming and weed eating around downspouts and french drains.**" I was told that in addition to wearing uniforms the crew lead, at a minimum, would speak English. The cut was delayed due to the rain the previous few days so they came on Saturday, after they had sent an email informing us of this which was actually nice... however sent at 9:44 pm the day of the scheduled mow. We were eating breakfast on Saturday and I noticed a man in the backyard. I went out front to ask why they did not knock and the individual there did not speak English and he could not communicate where the crew lead was. I called the office and spoke to a manager who confirmed the notes were on the account and apologized saying it would not happen again. He said that they don't pay attention to "Beware of Dog" signs because people use them simply to scare criminals away and don't always have dogs. We were not charged for the cut and had scheduled them to come out again in 2 weeks. On July 24 I received an email from Philip at CitiTurf stating that due to the "risk" they would not be able to service my home. I replied back saying that the risk can be eliminated if they can provide a window that they would come... like every other service based company in the country does. He replied saying not possible and did not offer any other suggestions. Honestly the people that I spoke with or communicated by email with were friendly. Their crew wore uniforms and were in a marked vehicle. They worked quickly but the quality suffered because of that. I would like to think they missed so many spots because the grass was still wet and I was willing to give them another chance... even if I had paid for the first one. If you do not have any pets, especially dogs, in your yard they seem like they would be a good option. However, due to their inflexibility of procedures and the fact that their crew do not speak English well enough to understand agreed upon instruction make them a very poor choice for dog owners.

These guys are terrific! They contacted us immediately and were friendly and very helpful! Our lawn has never looked better. We also asked them to do initial yard and bed cleanup at the beginning of the summer. Two men came out for 2 hours and worked nonstop to clean every thing up! Well worth the money, which was very reasonable. They notify us when it's time for fertilizing, etc. and send us an invoice each week, immediately after work is done. We have had successful relationships with other services, but this is by far the best! We will never change! Love CitiTurf!!

They always do a great job. They do the yard like it was their own.

My experience was pretty good. They charged $150, but they gave the evaluation for free because I used their service last year for lawn mowing and I canceled it because I had some patchy areas in my lawn. I then used a different lawn service and decided that I preferred CitiTurf, so I went back to them. They gave me a free irrigation evaluation as they realized that I was unhappy with them. Their customer service is fantastic. There is always someone who picks up the phone and addresses whatever concern I have. They speak English, so that's always helpful. I have been using them for about a year. Initially, I thought they were pricey; but now, when I got other estimates and used other services, I feel their price is a good value. They come over with a three or four man team and they do the whole lawn & they are out of there within a half hour. I don't even see them from week to week basis. They just come over and do the thing in the morning when I am at work & then they are gone. They just take my credit card and they just charge me. I never have to do one-on-one with anyone or ask someone to ring my doorbell or anything like that. It is incredibly convenient service.

I have used them for the last 6 weeks after dismissing my previous service provider. I also consulted with them and used them on landscaping and spring plantings. Every facet of my dealing with this company has been superior. They are responsive, knowledgeable and complete their services when they say they will. I had one occasion where the mowing was not up to their usual standard and they were quick to respond and a crew supervisor came by to personally inspect the work. Their recommendations for perennials for the spring were spot on - drought resistant flowers with some specifically to attract butterflies and hummingbirds.. We are in early July and everything continues to flourish even in the heat and with current water restrictions. This company is the "real deal" - sensitive to their customers needs, professional in their work and reasonably priced.
