Josh did an excellent job! Very kind and professional. Room where fireplace had always been very cold until Josh repaired the fireplace. Now, I have to turn off the heat because the fireplace warms the room so well. A good thing! I still have more work on other fireplaces and I will be calling Josh and this company.

They called prior to arriving for and ETA and then did arrive as stated. The guy was professional and did not make any mess. Found a problem and provided an est. for repair. I will have same company do the repairs.

They were very prompt. My gas connector to the fire logs hissed & I needed it fixed. They replaced the connection and fireplace pan. They also cleaned the fire logs as they were blackened from use. The new setup wasn't as hot and didn't warm the room as much as the old unit. That was disappointing. They offered to add a reflector pan to the back of the fireplace for an additional $75. This helped a little. I didn't know enough about artificial logs and was disappointed there was less heat. It seemed the price was high for what they did, but I didn't compare services. There seemed some confusion about how to replace the logs. It seemed odd to me. Again, I am not experienced with artificial logs. Not sure I'd use them again before checking with other services.

They were excellent. It was a very reasonable amount for all we got. It was very well done. They not only did the chimney, but they did the dryer vents and so forth. They just did a super job and did a great job.

Over the past year or so, I have been dealing with several different "Animal Removal" companies, including the large nationwide companies, to rid my attic of squirrels. The companies tried many different tactics, including placing "Rat Traps" in my attic, which never worked of course. Not only did they put "Rat Traps", but they never came back to check them, luckily I checked them often, but they never caught anything. Finally, I called Chimney & Wildlife Specialists; I initially asked for only an estimate. However, after feeling confident that I finally found a company that could help me, the trip for an estimate turned out to be a trip for the treatment and removal of these pests. Their technician, sorry I don't remember his name, identified and repaired all of the entry points that the squirrels were using to gain access to my attic. The technician then sealed-up all of the openings, 7 or 8 I think, with the exception of one. The one he didn't seal-up he placed an "exit only" trap door that allowed the squirrels to exit, but not return. This door was in-place for a few weeks to ensure all squirrels exited the attic, I felt really bad for the squirrels as they would sleep on my roof, near the exit door, after trying, with no luck, to get back into my attic; but based on the damage I know they can do to someone's home, I got over that feeling pretty quickly. The technician came back out to do a final inspection to verify all the squirrels were gone. During his last inspection, he also removed the trap door and sealed up the last opening to my attic. It has been over a month since he finished up the job and I couldn't be happier. If you are experiencing squirrels in your attic, or any pests for that matter, do yourself a favor and call Chimney & Wildlife Specialists, you'll be glad you did and you'll save time and money not having to deal with the other companies who claim to be able to get rid of the pests, but really just take your money. We had a pretty bad rat infestation in the attic of our house. We live in a rural type subdivision with wooded areas and an open field around our house. We called Chimney and Wildlife Specialist and they sent us Carlos. Carlos was awesome! He was prompt, very polite and meticulous as he inspected all possible entry points where rats could get in our attic. Carlos sealed off several places where rats could get in. He also added flashing in places where roof lines met to further block entry points. Carlos set 12 traps between both ends of our attic and build a special trap to attach to a box window where rats has made their way in. He faithfully returned for three more weeks, removing trapped rats and resetting traps. Once we felt all those nasty rats were gone, Carlos disinfected and deodorized the attic. After a few weeks, we called Carlos back as we heard rats again. Carlos came the same day we called, found one more entry point, sealed it and set traps. He returned for two more weeks and only removed two rats. Since then, we haven't seen or heard anymore evidence of rats. Our service included a two year guarantee that we won't have any more infestations. I highly recommend this company to anyone who has any type of animal infestation - especially I recommmend Carlos.

Carlos, from the San Antonio branch called before arriving and arrived on time. My wife watched him as he meticulously went about his work. He discovered a tennis ball was lodged in the flu and removed it. He cleaned the entire flu and used drop clothes and a vacuum that prevented any debris from entering our home. He discovered minor mortar cracks inside the fireplace that he offered to fix for an additional $50, to which my wife agreed. He inspected the gas fire starter unit in our fireplace and determined it to function properly. Even though our chimney has a spark arrestor, he recommended we consider installing a chimney cap that will prevent water from entering the flu and damaging the interior of the chimney.

It went well, he was great! He was very knowledgeable and thorough. I was happy he came out he said that the chimney had never been cleaned before. He also cleaned up very well.

These guys worked like navy seals over the course of the summer's first tipple digit Texas heat wave in August 2014. I was so hot our neighbors did not want to step outside, even if just to get the mail. However, these guys pressed on making it look easy. Aside from my family alone, the entire neighborhood was impressed by their overwhelming endurance and ability to work long shifts throughout the painful heat and sun beating down on them. Both Tony the owner, and Hiram the foreman, were on the scene from the get go making sure everything went smoothly and never skipped a beat. The finished product was absolutely amazing! I tried to find errors in their work and struggled with it as I followed in behind them. Overall, the installation was done extremely well. Even in ideal weather conditions I do not believe anyone would have done a better job than these guys, the Chimney & Wildlife Specialists. On a side note, they also do chimney work and are wildlife specialists. With that in mind, every nook and cranny of our siding was sealed up tight. No bugs or critters will be getting past this installation. My family and I were left with both a beautiful upgrade to our home's appearance along with piece of mind knowing we will be living comfortably and safe within it for many years to come.

Paul arrived on time and quickly evaluated the job. Without further involvement by me, he set about his work. He did a great job and completed the work in the time estimated. Paul was very pleasant and professional.

Everything went fine. They sent one person out to do the job. He did an inspection on my chimney and got the job done in about 20 minutes and informed me that it was not safe to run a fire.

The first visit was to clean two fireplaces and chimneys. Could not have gone smoother. We were new to Dallas then and Josh took the time to ensure we understood how each fireplace worked (one only gas, one a "hybrid" gas and natural wood-burning fireplace). The second visit was a maintenance call to check our chimney damper...done super efficiently by Josh again. The service was consistently exceptional both visits--great job on the cleaning and excellent customer-oriented service.

That service turned out well. I was not home when they did the service.

My experience with them was okay. It was not what I was expecting and they did not as good of a job as a previous company. They did not go on the roof to clean out the chimney, they just went through inside. . They cleaned up well after themselves and did not make a mess in my home.

Our experience with Chimney and Wildlife Specialist was exceptional. The experience began with Paul Herman when he called to set up appointment and then came to our house the same day to measure and assess what needed to be done. No high pressure sales tactics, simply an explanation of what was needed and then optional services as desired. He actually told me that chimney was in good shape, did not require a sweep or any repair other than the mortar build and cap. He could have sold me other services and I would not have known whether needed or not. He was punctual, polite, and professional. He did a beautiful job and we are very pleased with the service we received and will definitely use the services of this company again, as well as refer family and friends.

It was great! He was very clean, installation was great and I really like it! No problems, called before appointment, layed down a tarp to keep my floors dirty. No complaints at all!

Josh came out and measured for the chimney cap and then installed it the following week. He did an excellent job. Would highly recommend this company.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I could never get hold of them. They kept trying to get money by telling something else. They looked up the chimney and said it was clean. There were no additional charges. They were trying to sell something that wasn't really necessary. I wouldn't recommend them. There was really no service done. They were out here in a minute.

The owner called me, he had no idea what the worker had done previously. He sent another person out to do the work. They set the appointment,they were right on time and they were very respectful. They explained everything they were doing and they did not charge me this time. The owner called after the worker had done the job to follow up and make sure everything went well.

Carlos was very professional and knowledgeable. He not only was able to humanely get the raccoon to leave the attic, but also checked the entire roofline to make sure there were no other holes. He put a temporary patch on the hole until we can fix the boards that had rotted and allowed the raccoon to chew a hole in the first place. He was prompt, extremely competent and obviously took great pride in his work. We had already had a so called pest control person out to the house but he was not able to identify the animal, nor was he able to offer any way to remove it. The contrast between the two could not have been more obvious. I would recommend Carlos without reservation. He is a true professional.

I don’t recall there being any troubles with scheduling and they arrived on time. There were no problems.

I had purchased a big deal for $89, and it worked out well. It did not cost anything additional. They were very professional.
