Excellent! Very happy with the work.

We invited this company to give us a quote for our walk-in-closet remodeling project. A very nice lady came to your house, asked what our budget was, took some measurements then worked for 20 minutes on her computer to generate a proposed design. The final outcome looked great but the price was more than twice the budget we had given her! And twice as high as another company we ended up using. Also the standard depth of their shelves are only 14 inches while the other company has 16 inch deep shelves.

Tonya is the designer, she comes in to measure and give suggestions of what will work best. Her work is phenomenal, she's very efficient and professional. She's also converted a bedroom into a study, with a built in desk, cabinets and a Murphy bed.

I was not interested at that time in going through the designer as I was looking at several closet companies and simply did not have time to meet each of them. The California Closet people seemed to have the attitude that they had the product and didn't seem to care about working with me or discussing options. They wanted a formal sit-down.

I completed their request for estimate on their website and waited for a response. I received a confirmation the next day telling me someone from a local office would be in touch shortly. No one called for two weeks. I tried calling three times and leaving messages but no one returned my calls. In the mean time, I had two other companies come out and give me quotes. I guess California Closets didn't need my business.

Starting with the design, Tanya did a great job. We checked out three other providers, but her design was by far superior. We also got a good price, but starting with a Lexus discount followed by another reduction when we showed her another bid. She followed up with me, but was not at all annoying or overly persistent. Our job was to get the closet demo'd and repainted prior to installation, which we did. On the day of the installation, Hector arrived at 9 (we were given a 8:30-9:30 arrival time) and he called us at 8:30 to tell us he was on the way. He was neat and considerate. He made sure that we were happy with the installation, which we were. The only bad part of the job was having to deal with all my clothes! Now that the closet is organized so that I can actually see everything, I think I will be shopping in my closet - not at the mall.

We received 3 quotes, Calif. Closets was right in the middle. We were very pleased with the end result, our closet is 100% more functional now & the materials are very good quality. It is quite possibly one of the best home improvement choices we have made. The sales rep designed a great layout and the install was quick and professional.

The service turned out very well. They did everything they said they would and more. They had good follow up and they took care of any additional needs. I could not ask for anything more as they did a top notch job. They took care of anything needed and I had no issues with them. The service, sales people, and management were great to work with. I would use them again and I plan on calling them again as well.

The gentleman who installed the cabinet stepped on our dryer and he put a huge dent on the top of a new dryer. I worked with the manager for about three months and they eventually reimbursed for the damage but it took too long to receive the reimbursement for the repair. The quality of the work was fine but the customer service was not as good as I had hoped.

They stepped up to the plate and listened to me as the customer. The service turned out well.

The service was great. They were very professional, the work was well done, and we are happy with the service.

California Closets was able to schedule a quote on the initial call. Michelle was the designer and came out to the house as scheduled. She took measurements and listened to what I wanted to improve about the space. She created a design at the house. I have used California Closets once before and that designer actually provided me an auto cad computer drawing of the closet, Michelle did not not. Going forward I will always ask to have the auto cad computer diagram and 3D view of the space. It helped me visualize the project and know for sure how it would look at the end. The install date was scheduled at the time the design was drawn up. The first day of work was the demo of the existing closet space. This was completed on a Friday to allow me time to touch-up the walls and paint prior to the new closet being installed. Monday the installer showed up on time and for the most part completed the job in a day. There were a couple items which I had to schedule a second day for him to come out to install some accessories and other items which were not completed the first day. Overall they did a great job. The quality is great. They are expensive, not anymore than anyone else doing what they do, and I find it was well worth the cost. I would recommend to anyone using them to make sure to get the computer 3D design. It helps much more than the quick drawing they do at the time of estimate or the picture cards they can layout. I would consider using them in the future.

It did not happen. They never set up the estimate.

We never got an email for the estimate or design outline. We called to remind her that we never received any information. She apologized and said she would send it immediately. We again never received anything and further phone calls were not returned. Absolutely horrible business practices. Would avoid. Lots of good closet companies out there.

They couldn't give us a date, where they could be sure of, they would be able to do the job in a quick time frame. I got a date, which was far off, and they were too busy. The representative didn't return my call for a date certain. They wanted a payment before they could give us a date certain, and I didn't want to do that. I like their planning and design.

They were very responsible and I was very pleased with it. They cleaned up well when they were finished.

California Closets did an excellent job. They were on time for their design appointment and then were able to install the new closet a week or so sooner than they had anticipated. The closet is absolutely fabulous and well worth the money spent!
