Repair and replacement in faucet and tub ring

AFter a toilet overflowed, we called them due to the ads and discount coupons. I was quoted, including one price if he went up on the roof, he didn't but charged me the higher price anyway. Punctual, but expensive, and so far has done good work on the work performed.

I will use them for all my plumbing repairs.

Stay away from them, I got sucked into the $89 coupon worth $200, a plumber from this company came home and gave me a quote for $1900 1. one faucet replacement 2. Fixing two toilet leaks I told him I am not interested, so he replaced two flapper values and one vacuum breaker on outside faucet and he happily took my $80 angies list coupon worth $200. I won't recommend this company to anyone. I called another certified plumber and paid $130 for labor and $220 I spent on high quality parts.

Everything was done well and in a timely manner.

The Service tech arrived on time and diagnosed the leak as a worn cartridge in the kitchen faucet. He had to order the new cartridge and called later that day to set up another appointment to install it. Another service tech actually came early on the designated day and installed the new cartridge and tested for leaks. The work was done well and he was very professional. The only issue is that there is a set fee for this service of approximately $200.00. The actual work took less than five minutes. Therefore I believe the price was exorbitant for this service.

Adam Stockton was the plumber throughout. The job required excavating a large hole in the back yard so as to get into the crawl space, beyond what is possible from within the house. He was excellent in that he carefully diagnosed the several problems, starting first with the simplest solutions and then progressing as needed to the more complicated for each of them. He explained what he had found, showed photos, proposed solutions and quoted a price before going on with the work. He was very professional, efficient, and was prompt, neat and cleaned up everything before he left. We felt that the cost was appropriate for the extent of the work. There will be more plumbing work here in the future and needless to say we will use Benjamin Franklin and Adam again.

Technician originally underestimated the difficulty of the job. He was a little tentative about what he felt needed to be done so he called in a supervisor to confirm or correct his plan. The supervisor had him do the work differently than had been planned which resulted in much more time being spent on the job but the Company didn't adjust their estimate.

I called the company today and I found out that the cleaning doesn't include the part of the drain that I need cleaned out. I called twice and they couldn't give me a good answer either time.

I mentioned the $88. sewer clean-out special when making the appointment, but the plumber quoted me $239. However, he readily agreed, after offering me a few options involving warranties, and did a good and timely job.

My experience with them had been marginal and I've subsequently had a different contractor come in and do work. The quality of work is very subjective to the technician they send out. They charged quite a bit. They were prompt.
