I had a good experience with them. I ended up spending more than what the Big Deal cost. I would recommend them to others.

That's got to be the worst service I've ever seen. I'm contesting the charge on y credit card, as a result.

It was all right. I think it was overpriced for the job they did. The guy was in the house literally for not more than 10 minutes. He finished the job in 10 minutes. He was professional. I just thought that there was another more than what they did. He answered all of my questions. He said he was doing some pipes or whatever but what he only did was taking out one small piece which he did in 1 minute and that’s all he did and he just looked at it literally and said everything is okay but I thought he would clean some of the stuff which he did not do. He said that was not part of it. In $29 that I paid, I could have done it myself. I asked him what he did and he showed it to me and told me how he did it and he was professional about that. Basically they did something that I could have done myself.

He arrived on time. He was very polite. He explained their services. He snaked the drain. He cleaned up after. Everything went perfectly, and the drain has worked ever since. I would use them again.

The plumber was professional, courteous and helpful in explaining the cost factor. I found it totally rediculous that they wanted to charge me $1000.00 to install a bath basin facet and a tub facet. I said, "thanks you but no thanks." So even with my $200 credit that I paid $89 for on Angie's List, they wanted to charge me $800. This is simply a scam in my opinion.

The plumber came when they said he would and did a great job. Fixed the leaky faucet within 15 minutes. I used a coupon for the free trip charge and had my own parts. I've used them in the past and will use them from now on after using another company that was not as professional.

He was very prompt and fixed everything right away!

It went great. He did the work required.

They cleaned the drain on time. They also helped me to use a camera to check the main drain condition. I definitely will use them next time.

Purchased as part of Angie's List "Big Deal" program. Services performed as expected.

I had an intermittent sewage gas leak in my master bathroom. I was able to figure out it was coming from the toilet. When the plumber came, the sewage smell was not there (like I said, it was intermittent and would come and go every couple days). I told him I figured out it was coming from the toilet but because the smell was not present when he was at the house, he did not believe me. I asked him if it was the wax seal and he said it was not because there as no water leak from the bottom of the toilet. He said he checked all the valves and the drains and he did not smell anything. He then said the problem was probably coming from underneath the house slab and they would have to dig underneath to find it. I thought he was rude about the whole thing. Anyway, I didn't believe him and I definitely wanted to get another opinion before I started digging underneath the slab so I called another plumbing company. They found the wax seal was not installed properly, replaced it and I never smelled sewage gas again. The second plumber did say there was an air leak from the bottom of the toilet and water leak does not always have to be present. I will never call Benjamin Franklin Plumbing again. I think the $59 service fee should have been refunded for the incorrect diagnosis!

The service was okay. He did do the work and what he did worked, he gave suggestions on how to prevent further clogs. He suggested using hot water more to clean out the drain. The service did go pretty smoothly. We have had other providers do a more thorough job in the past.

Jeff arrived on time and proceeded to confirm the problem that the kitchen sink backed up when washing machine went into spin cycle. Unfortunately he did not have the camera with him so we could visualize the problem but he ran a snake out to the gray water septic tank and that fixed the problem as evidenced by the ability to do three large loads of laundry with extra rinse cycle without any backup in the kitchen sink. he also reminded me how to prevent the problem in the future. He was professional and efficient and did a great job of cleaning up when done.

For $29.00 I could have told him my toilet need some repair. I was not expecting the cost to be $29 + $96.

Work was good. Technician showed up at the end of the appointment window. Work was speedy and professional but, as others have commented in this forum, their prices are high for the work performed.

I purchased the $89 2 hour service on Angie's List and it was an additional $115. The repairman was extremely friendly and did a great job. Loved that he wore shoe covers into the house. The new faucet looks and works perfect.

There was a pebble stuck in the bathtub area, which wasn't allowing hot water to flow. They called me immediately - probably within a day or so of purchase. They showed up on time and fixed the problem.

I have mixed feelings about the experience. I initially had some trouble with the Angie’s List website and accidentally purchased the Deal twice. When the plumber came out and I told him I just needed the flapper replaced, he told me I needed to replace the entire internal mechanism. I opted to just replace the flapper, and it’s worked perfectly ever since (months later). I wasn’t crazy about the upsell, although he did good work with the flapper.

It stopped up the system and this company came out promptly and fixed it to our satisfaction.

My appointment was scheduled online on Friday with a coupon deal -$79.00 for a drain cleanout and a camera scope of the house sewage line to detect any problems. I called to confirm the appointment on Friday afternoon. It was scheduled for the next business day Monday 8-10 AM. Monday morning shortly before 8 AM I received a phone call from their office notifying me I was first stop on for Monday morning, she also told me the name of the plumber that would be coming (Robert) and that he would be leaving the Carrollton office at 8:15AM coming directly to my house. He arrived on time, ask about the slow drain and went right to work. Once the drain was cleaned out, he proceeded to the scoping of the sewer from the main cleanout and explained what I was seeing on the camera display as he inspected the sewer line by camera. He ask if there were any other concerns or question and I ask about two toilets that most times required two flushes to clean the bowl, He looked at both toilets and then demonstrated with a bucket of water (about 2 gallons of water) why my 1.8 gallon tank toilets) could not flush any better. It was not a slow line, it was the design of the 1992 toilet. He then told me what elements to look for in replacements to best meet my requirements. He gave me a written estimate of the toilet that Benjamin Franklin Plumbing carries including installation. He cleaned up leaving no mess behind and promptly left. (Note-- I do not want my name and address posted with this review, but do not mind if the above comments are printed.)

The company came out to honor my deal before they started any work I asked them how much they would charge additional to install a toilet seat I needed to be placed on they quoted $104.00 dollars. I asked them to leave because I felt like they were trying to up sale the price of the work. I was not satisfied with the experience.

The guy was really nice. He also noticed that I had an old type of tubing that he sees leaks a lot over time and suggested that I replace it. So I had him do it in 2 bathrooms. I would use them again!

Found multiple breaks in sewer system. The Plumber did a good job checking out the problem. He spent about four hours working on this problem. Unable to let him do the work due to the cost to repair. If the finances were available I would use this company.

One tank needed nothing. The other was not sealed and leaked. He showed up on the iciest day of the year.
