There were no additional fees beyond the cost deal and there were no troubles with scheduling. They arrived on time and spent about thirty minutes on the job. Everything went really well.

The price was a bit on the high end but I'm happy with the work and peace of mind knowing I don't have a ticking time bomb ready to flood behind my walls!

I had to have them come back because they did not est their flapper to make sure my downstairs toilet was working before they left. A rarely use toilet was left nonfunctional, which could have been avoided if the guy would have simply flushed the toilet to make sure the flapper worked.

No details. I misread the "deal"

The plumber came out and looked at my plumbing concern and advised that there was another Big Deal that could actually save me more money. I am now replacing this Big Deal with another one from Benjamin Franklin.

Did an excellent job - clean, prompt, professional. However, the drain was not able to be scoped due to the size. It became clogged again within two weeks.

Performed the tasks identified on the coupon. Identified problems that I repaired myself. If he had performed the same task it would have cost around $300 more. My cost was $25 for the part and about 1.5 hours of my time.

Technician arrived on time and was courteous and professional. He tried to snake out the drain thru the tub but was not successful and then tried accessing the plumbing thru an access panel in the wall. He was able to get in thru the vent in that area and clear the drain.

They were very prompt and did the work and it turned out not be be effective. I called them right back, and they came and repaired the issue.

The technician was very punctual. I explained that both toilets had stopped flushing. After he tried snaking one toilet without success, he suggested other possible causes for the problem. Of the possible causes, he started with the one which would be cheapest and turned out to be the problem. . I sincerely appreciate him not starting with the one which would have brought in the most revenue to his company. Before he left, he made sure I was aware of the warranty, so that I could have a technician come out again at no additional cost. EXCELLENT customer service.

There were no troubles with scheduling and their timeliness was fine. However, It didn’t turn out real well. One technician came out and he spent about 45 minutes on site. They seemed to go into a mode of trying to prompt another company called Dry Force to come out. They had been saying there was a water leak and I needed someone to come out and take care of it. I have a company through my home owners insurance come out to check the leak and declared that was no issue and that no work would needed to done.

Provider was very professional and arrived on schedule. Provided the estimate for options I was considering including replacing the toilet. Immediately fixed the problem and even adjusted my other toilet flap and also gave me a quote on another job. He was very helpful and fixed the problem. I would recommend them to others!

The lowest one they gave was $500, and the deluxe was $5000 It was more than twice the price of what the contractor I chose had quoted. It was overly expensive. Our water heater is in the attic and I expected a little bit of a price increase .

There were no issues with scheduling. They spent about an hour on the job and cleaned up well. The deal worked out fine.

The intent was to replace an outdoor faucet. Due to the type of faucet that I had, they were not able to replace for that price, as more work would have needed to be done. However, they were able to - at the price paid - secure a fitting on the existing faucet that stopped the leak. As that was the intent of hiring them, I was happy with the result.

By the time I found a company taking calls, Benjamin Franklin answered and dispatched Don. He was very professional and courteous and repaired my faucet. Five stars for Don all the way. Plumbing is always expensive and with this being an after hours emergency, I was expecting to pay a premium and I did ($189 for the emergency call)....but, my overall experience was very good

Plumber John was polite enough. Estimates to install my purchased items from Home Depot of Moen kitchen faucet & Am Standard toilet were (I felt) prohibitively expensive. I declined their services. When their follow-up call came, I stated my reason for not scheduling - the girl hung up w/ no comment.

Did a great job in my kids bathroom. Told me the price upfront and while it was more than the big deal, it still saved me quite a bit.

They arrived early and called when 30 min out. Two guys. They wore the booties over shoes to protect the carpets. They covered all parts of the tanks as they carried them down the stairs, that might have leaked. They disposed of everything and took the tanks away. They did not leave any mess. They explained the warranty very well but I have not yet looked to see if it is spelled out somewhere on paper. They said they left the tank info up in the attic so I will have to get that. I do think the cost was very high. I did get a 12 yr replacement warranty and they will come out every year to drain and inspect them. My friend said she used a different company and also had two replaced in her attic for 1700 and they were 50 gallon.

I had a bad leak in the tank of our toilet. I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing based on reviews I read here. I made an appointment for them to come out and they arrived within the window time they gave me. The plumber was professional and he was thorough in explaining what needed to be done, he had the parts in this company truck. I think it took about half hour, 45 minutes at most. He fixed it perfectly. I asked him to take a look at our other toilet because there was some play in the handle and he adjusted the chain. It took him 5 minutes to do that and he didn't charge anything for it. Everything about this company is professional. From the telephone appointment to the plumber, uniform, truck, and of course the work. I would call them every time for plumbing work.

This guy did not do the services stated in the ad; instead, he quoted me an enormous amount of money to replace the inside of a toilet, when it should have been covered under the $29.00 deal. Then, he told me my garbage disposal was leaking, and I had two others plumbers verify that it wasn't. He made a list of over $1100.00 of "needed" and "recommended" repairs - giving this company a really bad reputation in my book. I called the manager and complained; and was told that he longer worked there... hmm....I explained that I was giving this review, and I explained why. This is why used Angie's List; to get a REPUTABLE company. I am extremely disappointed.

We were pleased with the service and will call them in the future.

I initially thought it was great because they got my heat going and it was cold. But it's going to need some more work because it was clicking on for heat yesterday and the day before and it's not coming on. The thermostat is not communicating with the new outdoor unit, the fan isn't working, the electrical isn't connecting and it's not communicating right. I thought actually they were great. I thought they were working with a poor product and it wasn't their fault. They were very professional. I had a new air conditioning and heating unit installed when I moved in 2006 and it was under warranty. They saw a flaw and so they replaced it. That was really cool with me. Despite the fact that it's not working, I still think that they're professional and I would recommend them.
