They did a good job on evaluating my plumbing issue. But then they made a mistake on billing and never fixed it. I was double-charged for the $25 that Angies List collected. First, I paid for the "$59 service call" by $25 to Angies List through PayPal. Then when they came they conveniently forgot that Angies List already collected the $25 so they charged me $25 again + another $104 for diagnostics services. And they processed the credit card before they would fix the issue. I pointed this out and they promised to credit me $25. But over 2 weeks later and they haven't done it. That's what I call sleazy.

What they did was fine but I don't like their concept on how they do business. I would use them again because they have a price for each service.

Plumber showed up within scheduled time window. Performed task as expected in reasonable amount of time. He was very nice and courteous. It was a pretty basic service call, but everything went well.

I contacted the company and they scheduled me for the same day. I got a call from the company and they indicated that the plumber could come out early (AWESOME!!!). Michael showed up and quickly removed the ghost who had been using the upstairs bathroom (running toilet) and also repaired a slow filling toilet tank. He also pointed out a bum part and replaced that as well. Overall the experience was fantastic! I added them as a contact in my phone for any future plumbing issues. The plumber was over an hour late for the two hour window we were given. Their motto is "If there's a delay, its you we pay." So they are supposed to give you $5.00 for every minute they are late, up to $300.00. The plumber was there for 30 minutes and the charge was $397.00. I think they added the $300 to the bill just to take care of the money they were supposed to pay us. To top it off we were required to pay the full amount (No credit was given) and they will mail us a check for the $300.00. This was extremely frustrating and I think it was dishonest as well. No plumber I know of charges almost $400.00 for thirty minutes of work. When I called customer service they said that pricing is done by the plumber and there is no set pricing. They also said that the check will come within 7-10 days of mailing, but I would have to talk to the plumber manager to find out when it was going to be mailed.

I had them install a new faucet. I'd already purchased the faucet, but I didn't have time to install it myself.

I love them, I like the fact that they always have the parts on the truck they don' have to order when he came, to fix it. and I like a certain plumber, I've had him a couple of times with Benjamin.

That went well. My wife's comment at that time was they're still very expensive compared to other plumbers. We would probably not use them again.

They were okay. The people they send out may or may not be very experienced because we had 2 different people come out. One of them broke our tile because they broke our pipes. They were terrible on price.

Tech arrived on time and was professional. He took down a variety of information and then advised it would be an extra $261.00 since the company works off of flat rates and it was $461.00 to install a customer supplied fixture. I had already gotten a couple of quotes with the lowest of $200.00 so even if I threw away the bid deal coupon and had the other plumber do the work I would come out ahead quite a bit. Not a problem with Benjamin Franklin, their tech as mentioned was professional and courteous and if that is their business model then OK. Still this was a simple job and 2 hours of labor should more than have covered it since I was supplying the faucet etc.

He came a little early so my wife told him to come back at the scheduled time because I wasn't there yet. He came back at the scheduled time and had to drain the old unit and dismantled the old connections. He put on footies every time he entered the house and also laid down a tarp in front of the work area. He soldered new connections and installed the new heater. He informed us of how we should maintain the unit to give it the best life.

It turned out to be unusual. They were half-hour late and so I called them. It ended up an hour before the guy got there. Of course, they promised to give you five dollars a minute or something. He did the repair on a faucet outside and I did not ask him about the money back thing for being late because they promised for the money back. He brought it up and started saying that I was going to get $37 back, but I said no at $5 a minute. I was not pushing it, but the more he made up excuses the more upset I was getting. He finally called the manager and said that they were going to send me a check for the whole amount. Well, I did not know what that was. They eventually sent me a check for $300 which is the correct amount. I did not cash it. I am going to send it back. I was not after the money. It was the principle of the thing. They did repair fine. He noticed there was leak on the faucet. It was an outside faucet. He did not repair the leak, but he did repair the connections which I really had asked him to do. So, he did that. I think he was going to charge me a lot more money than what he originally had quoted me for the outside repair, but after talking to his boss, he decided not to. That was more confusing. I think finally they did right. A couple of days later, they came out to give me an estimate on a water heater and the price was so high that I cannot do it. It was $1,500 to do a water heater in the garage that I ended up doing myself. They came out pretty close when the groupon came out for $89 for $200 worth of plumbing services. They repaired a small connection outside. Then, the guy started telling me the bill was going to be $300 some dollars for that small repair outside that took them about 30-minutes to repair and we argued about that for a bit. I think the plumber was new that he had not worked for long because he was so confused about the $5 a minute deal. I was not even pursuing that. I think when the bill got so high, it was a lot more than the $200 that he was trying to charge more so he could offset some of the money they were going to have to pay me for being late. Eventually, they did the work for $89 and sent me a check for $300 which I never did cash that and my intention is to send it back to them. The guy that came out was not knowledgeable about the system. He was not knowledgeable about how the prices worked. I think their prices are really high. I would not use them again in the future basically because I do not think I could afford them based on the water heater experience.

No actual plumbing work was done whatsoever. Instead there was a concentrated sales pitch on a liquid product that may or may not cure the problem. We purchased the item and did not help. Later the following week we called a local plumber who fixed the problem in under 20 minutes for less than half of what Benjamin Franklin's visit cost.

That was fine. The guy was professional. He was nice. The only issue I had was that the service was for an hour, but it didn't take him that long to do and there was an upcharge because he was installing a garbage disposal. In the offer to the special it said you could use it for a garbage disposal, but it didn't imply that there would be an upcharge for that.

I was very pleased with the service! The technicians were friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company to those who want the job done right!

They showed up quickly. Drained and replaced the water heater. Showed me how to operate the new one, Very professional. Very painless. Only downside is they charged full MSRP for heater. Labor /professinalism was worth it, but the part a bit overpriced.

The work turned out well. They were knowledgeable and came on time.

We had a big deal with them, and my problem got solved, but I think it could have been solved for the $79 that I spend instead of the $300 that they charged me. I said I would never deal with them again, and so I let it go. The justification of the price was the jet, but I didn't see him using the jet. I don't think the jet worked. Their punctuality was good.

It was pretty expensive. The deal would have been good if I would have been using it for what I planned but I ended up having a leak. It was just a trouble. They were on time and told me what to do at the beginning. The first time he came out, he was there for like 3 to4 hours. It's a long drawn out experience but the quality was good. They were also prompt.

He was on time, and after a walkthrough of my issues, got, right to it. He addressed both drain line clean outs quickly (and after one month, still very well). When I had other questions on a project I'm doing, he offered solid guidance and advice on the next steps and how to do extra work while I have the tub removed for next to no expense (improving the redo at the same time). He was a pleasure to work with and will use him the next time I need him.

Installer with both cordial and competent. It went very well and I am thoroughly enjoying my new upgraded working toilet!

Services were performed quickly, professionally, and economically.

On Time, Very Courteous and Professional. Replaced a toilet in the spare bedroom. I would use them again.
