They did fine and they showed up on time. They showed me the pictures from the camera and the sewer pipe was full of roots. They got the job done over 3 days because they dug the wrong trench and had to dig a new one. The cleanup was good.

Servicer arrived on time and was very professional. He was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Would definitely recommend.

The deal was for a toilet tune up. I had new tile installed in the master bath and when they replaced the toilet it was running all of the time. The plumber told me that I needed a new toilet and it would cost several hundred dollars - couldn't afford it at the time and since then the toilet has quit running

My toilet would not stop running. I was having to cut off the water and wait for tank to fill every single time. I told the plumber this and that I had bought a package of the parts for inside the tank. I said I'm not sure if you will need this or not. He told me I could have a problem with debris from the city water line and installed it and my toilet seemed to now fill up to the correct height. Later that afternoon the toilet started overflowing again. I was not happy and called the Benjamin Franklin back again. They sent the same guy out the next day which I was happy about. His solution was to adjust something in tank and it seemed to work. Again, later that night my bathroom was flooded again. Finally we called Ace plumbing and the said there was a different valve that needed replacing on the line. They solved the real problem which was the rubber ring had corroded away and was blocking places in our tank. It was a total waste of time calling Benjamin Franklin. Besides the 129$ they used my 20$ package from Home Depot which in hindsight we didn't need to use and I should have been able to return.

The technician, Mark, was very nice and professional. He did a good job; however, Benjamin Franklin's price structure is ridiculous. Our bill was $526.00 to unclog a kitchen drain, repair kitchen drain line, and augur one bathroom toilet. The prices they charge are MUCH higher than area competition, even bordering on criminal. I will not use Benjamin Franklin in the future. It's no wonder they offer $200 coupon for $89. They're going to rip you off and more than make up for this discount. Beware.

It turned out well and they did a great job. The plumber was very professional. He got the job done in about 20 minutes.

They gave me a quote to replace a water heater and he quoted me about $4,000.00. He was very nice, but I chose to not go with this company for the service.

Everything went really well! They were very honest about the fact that disposal didn't really need replacing which saved me money. I appreciate the honestly and not just replacing it because I thought something was wrong.

It was okay. It turned into a sales job, but we got what we needed done. He said my water pressure is extremely high, & that we needed a regulator. They wanted to charge thousands for additional "fixes."

We had a 19 year old water heater so we'd been on alert that we were going to need one soon. We were also looking to improve hot water availability to one of our bathrooms. We called several plumbers for estimates. We knew we'd found the right match when we called Ben Franklin - they were able to schedule a free consultation the next day (on a saturday!) and we really liked the plumber (Jason). He was very friendly and explained several options for water heaters and on-demand systems. He took the time to ask questions about what our needs and expectations were for water usage and hot water. The quote he provided was very matter-of-fact and up front, no hidden or confusing costs. When we had it installed, Jason was the plumber who came to do the job. It was nice having that continuity and familiarity. Ben Franklin will now be our go-to plumbers if any other plumbing needs arise!

Fine. Just too expensive

Plumber was polite and punctual. However I thought the price was way too high for 40-45 of leisurely labor only. I do not think the faucet was installed correctly because it requires weekly squirting with WD-40 to allow it to move left and right to each side of the sink. Next time that I need a plumber, I will call someone else.

First of all the repairperson was late. TRUE to their ad; the technician reduce my bill the amount they were late and we were glad. The replacing of the toilet was unexpected, but we were glad for the change out. His work was quick, efficient, and he cleaned up his mess extremely well. We were very pleased with the work done. YES. I would recommend this company because they did what their ad said. Thank you very much!

Perfect. He called to let me know he was on his way. He showed up on time. He used shoe protectors to keep our floor clean. He worked to make sure the line was clean. He was very professional and courteous. I would TOTALLY use their service again. The best and most professional plumbing service we have had in the 20 years we have owned our home.

We used an Angie's List Big Deal which was $79 for $200 worth of plumbing work. We have one drain that clogs up somewhat frequently. They arrived on time, completed the job in a timely manner, and were professional. The plumber told us about a permanent fix for our drain problems, but the quote was $20.000!! We can get the drain reamed out quite a few times for that price. Overall we are happy with the service and will consider using them again, as long as we can use a Big Deal like we did this time.

When making the appt I mentioned the angies coupon for 79 for clog removal and the appt was made. Plumber showed up on time the day of the appt and was professional and dressed in a proper uniform and drove a modern clean vehicle. We explained what we need done and told him of the Angie's deal for 79. I couldn't remember at the time if the deal was a coupon or not but I didn't have one and of course the person who made the appt never passed along the angies offer info to the plumber so they did not honor the price. I was able to get a free service call with another angies coupon that was available the day the plumber showed. Services were performed professionally and satisfactorily albeit with premium pricing. This business is very professional from beginning to end however you pay a high price for it so know that going in.

The work was done quickly and efficiently, with no mess. The lines were cleared out. There were no extra charges above the coupon price.
