I received an email from Angie's List telling me that I had been successful in getting BFP to clean my drain for $99. When I called the phone number in the email I was told that I had called the wrong location. I was transferred to another number and from that number I was told that BFP would not honor the deal. So, in my opinion, AL should not accept BFP on its list of providers. Very negative experience and I would like my money refunded please.

On time, tried to understand overall issues with kitchen drain and cleanouts with standing water. Checked lines with camera and removed debris causing slow drainage. Spent 3 hrs here and went way above and beyond what I really think I paid for.

The plumbing beneath our sink was performed by a handyman who was out of his depth. The pipework was a "creative mess" as the plumber put it. Additionally, the dishwasher drained to a spout on the kitchen counter which was not properly slanted towards the sink so water went everywhere. Finally the dishwasher line was clogged. Anyway, our plumber was able to assess the situation, come up with a fix and fix everything in one visit. Took him about 2 hours. We're very happy with the results. Dishwasher now working, pipework beneath the sink now makes some sense and the dishwasher now drains to the disposal so no more messes! Very happy and would use them in the future!

The service went very well. I had three people look at the same work and he was the only one who gave me a creative solution to my problem. David installed a new stainless steel trim and modified the tub to include a hand shower. It was labor intensive and he had to cut through the wall to do the work. He also put in a gas line for my cook top.

Service was on time, professional, and solved the problem.

He wanted more money than the deal stated to do the service.

I tried twice to use this coupon. The first time, I was told on the first call that they would charge extra to come out on Friday through Sunday even though the website said that there was no extra charges. Called back again and suddenly there was no extra charge to come out. The second time the guy came out and it was going to cost an extra $400. This was not good business as I could not view why such an expensive process to connect a new dishwasher. The credit card I used to pay these deals has been cancelled.

The Deal was not what was advertised. They came for a free estimate, and he wanted to charge almost $1000 for what is only an hour and a half of work.

Service was friendly and prompt. The Angie's List deal was $99 for a drain cleaning. At the time the service was completed, I learned there was also a $59 transportation fee. This was not mentioned on the Ad. Still a good deal, but rather deceptive on the part of either the service provider and/or Angie's List.

Needed faucet replaced in shower. Dispatcher told us we could pick up any faucet and they would install. I picked up a faucet at Lowe's. Plumber arrived and initially told us he would tear out the tile around faucet and not replace. Then told us to get a tile person who would be able to replace the tile. Gave us Bid of around $400 (with coupon would have been around $200) to replace the shower faucet. We contacted handyman who said access panel would be better. Better to mess with drywall rather than tile. I did wonder why plumber didn't say/think of that? Handyman put in Access panel. Plumber came back out, said faucet wouldn't work (same faucet that was there his first trip) told us he would still need to rip out tile and changed bid to $989 including coupon. Seemed to struggle with plumbing problem, told me he had to send pictures to his supervisor. I asked him to leave. We called another recommended Plumber, who came out. He quoted us $337 to replace same faucet. No extra tile needed to be taken out. Work completed in a couple of hours. Over a month later very pleased with this service. I am not sure if the plumber Benjamin Franklin sent out was incompetent or if he thought he could make more $$ on the job than necessary. I was VERY disappointed and would rather give more money to a reputable company than deal with this company ever again. I am requesting a refund of the Big Deal I purchased.

There were no troubles with scheduling and they arrived right on time. They told us what wrong with one of our toilets that was leaking. The technician discovered when the remodel took place, the flange off the toilet was cut and that caused the leak. He had to take the toilet out of the ground for the diagnosis and then put it back on. The only trouble was that when mounting the toilet back, the leaking became more intense than before and caused damage to hardwood floors in my bedroom. He had put sealing around the toilet, but the toilet still leaked. There were additional costs for the work. He did clean up well after completing the job. Overall, it turned out fine.

On Time, in uniform, in marked truck, called day before, called morning of, called 30 minutes prior. preformed requested task, wrote up bill and gone within 30 minutes for a reasonable price. I recommend this company. They are professional, they respond quickly, they do what they say at a fair price and did it on 1 days notice -the day before July 4th! Bravo. After dealing with contractors for various jobs, I'd say this company is a keeper.

Please use Caution with you deal with this company: this company is trying its best to screw the customers. My husband purchased the "$99 for a drain cleaning" on Angies List on July, 19, 2014. When I called Monday, July 21 to schedule a service, the Plano TX office people transferred my call to another location (Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is a franchise, I knew this only on July 22.) The service was scheduled from 9 am to 1 pm on July 22. The plumber, Matt is very polite and professional. He told me that the "$99 for a drain cleaning" deal is only for Plano area and since I am in Houston, so I have to pay the regular $278! I am very disappointed with the people in Plano TX. I will never use this company again.

It was easy to schedule. I used a deal from Angie's. He was fast and professional.

I have a membership with this plumber and the pricing through that agreement is better than this deal.

It was a pleasant experience. The technician came at the time he was supposed to and was professional. I would use the company again.

I purchased one of those deals for plumbers and I made an appointment with them and they emailed me at the last minute and said they couldn’t come out which really put me on a spot so I called you all and got the name of Benjamin Franklin and they came out right away and they were very courteous and did a good job and got the thing fixed for me. I had to pay a quite a bit of money that I wouldn’t have had to pay if I got the first deal. They were great and I would definitely use them again. The price was probably comparable.

Very professional - completed repair on time

They were very thorough and explained to me and showed me things. He walked me through the process and gave me the price in advance. They were easy to work with.

I had a good experience with them. I have since used them again. The technician was a really good guy and he went above and beyond for me. I felt I got value out of the deal.

He discovered that the problem was much more extensibe with out pipes underneath the slab due to age etc. He took the time to show us what he was sieing with a camera and did a "radio" thing on our floor to pinpoint the problem. He gave us an exact proposal detailing the costs and also explained what kind o financing. He was very, very thorough and very honest. His name was John.

They were very prompt. They came prepared and you couldn't really tell they were just here, they cleaned up after themselves nicely.

I do not need the service and they are happy to refund.
