It turned out well. They were able to come out the next day. They were quick. Everybody else couldn't do us for a week. My only complaint was that they banged up the water heaters but nobody sees them. They got back to us in a timely manner. My husband did most of the work and he had no complaints. The price seemed in line with everything we googled.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were great. Everything went well. They were prompt and quick. They've come out 2 times. It was a little more expensive but you get what you pay for.

They did fine and did a good job. I purchased an $89 Angie's List Big Deal for this service and ended up paying an additional $115 for the total job. They came in and told me upfront they would honor the deal. They told me the total cost and told me the way they work it is for $89 I purchased $200 worth of service I could apply to the $315 final charge. That was fine so that is kind of the way we worked it out. I knew how much I was going to have to pay before they did the work. The faucets has worked fine ever since they put it in. They were very straightforward and courteous so they did great. It was pretty expensive.

I think they are very good, prompt, professional and they do a great job. They are a little pricey and had to come out a couple of different times. The faucets were the big thing and were about $250 to install a faucet -- and I had the faucet. It seemed a little high. I would absolutely guarantee their services. People are not going to have leaks after their service. I had a situation where I had a refrigerator water line leak on my floor. I know without a doubt that I have no issues and they do the work correctly. Maybe, you get what you pay for, but I wish I did not have to pay that much. I really think their pricing needs to be a little more competitive; they are too high.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. Everything was great.

I purchased an $89 Big Deal with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for $200 of plumbing services. The deal said it could be used to install/replace bath faucets, among other things. I needed to have the spouts and handles on 2 lavatory faucets replaced because they were corroding. Both faucets work fine; it's just the finish that is going bad. I provided the replacement parts, which I obtained from the faucet manufacturer. When Benjamin Franklin arrived, I was told that I would be charged $223 per faucet, for a total bill of $446. Applying the $200 Big Deal brought the price down to $246, which is still over-priced for the amount of work involved. I authorized the plumber to proceed, but when he began working on the first faucet handle, he found that the trim ring sent by the manufacturer was too small. At that point he put the old faucet handle back on and didn't charge me anything, because the Big Deal specified that the customary trip fee was waived. He also told me that deal was good for 6 months so I could use it later if I got different parts from the manufacturer or if I decided to install new faucets, which he recommended because it's difficult to get the exact old faucet parts. I then asked what Benjamin Franklin would charge to install 2 new faucets because I haven't had any luck getting the correct parts from the manufacturer. Their price was over $400 PER FAUCET. I think this is extremely overpriced. In hind sight, I should have gotten a price quote from Benjamin Franklin before I purchased their Big Deal. But I also think the wording on the deal was misleading.

I paid for coupon on 10/6 & was contacted by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing on 10/7 stating I needed to call another franchise because the one advertised doesn't service this zip code. The company honoring is in Dallas area & I am in Houston. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing provided me with a phone # for a Houston franchise. When I called that franchise, they stated they wished Angie's List would take Houston off of the coupon promotion because Houston does not honor that coupon. Apparently they have received numerous calls.

We purchased a big deal for a 5-point toilet tune-up and plumbing inspection because we had a toilet that would not always shut off after flushing. The technician flushed the toilet one time and said that the needed repair was outside the scope of the 5-point tune-up, but that he could do a toilet rebuild for $382 plus he recommended a new water shut off for an additional $198. We had other plumbing upgrades that we had been considering such as faucet replacements and he also quoted rather expensive standard pricing on each of those projects. The extent of the "plumbing inspection" part of the coupon was to ask us the age of our hot water heater. I have been hesitant to write this somewhat negative review because the service provider was on time, polite, seemed conscientious, and may well do very good plumbing work at premium prices, but Angie's List keeps "reminding" me weekly that I have not written a review. Unfortunately, my overall impression was that this particular coupon was merely an opportunity for an upsell, and I wish I had not "flushed" $29 down the toilet but bought a repair kit instead.

It was good. I would recommend to use them. Try to avoid the emergency trip charges because those are pretty expensive. They did come out on time when they were supposed to and did what they were supposed to so that all worked out good.

He was very professional and on time. Prices were very good and work was excellent.

I've used them for 3 or 4 years with several different plumbing problems in different houses. They are always very punctual and professional. They are knowledgeable about what they are doing. They have always been just top notch. They came out and did the job. They would come even when it wasn't their problem. They have located water lines and my air conditioning line that went outside and they repaired that. They have replaced toilets and the water lines to 2 or 3 of my bathroom fixtures. They have just been great. The price the last time was less than what I thought it would be. There are always coupons in the local papers. They have always been great. Even when I thought the price was a little high, it was always worth it. I've never had to wait a long time for them to come out. They have said they will be there between 1-3 and they will be here as fast as they come. They have never been past time and often they finished another job early and will come out earlier than I anticipated but they always call first.

It was pretty good. In general it was good. It was 2 or 3 times I had them out here working on different issues. They are a private set of 3 part deal, Benjamin Franklin and electrical service and for heating and air conditioning associated with another company. I started using the other company as my electric company provider. They kind of came along with a package deal. I thought that was pretty good. I think it was something like a month and a half ago. I had them over here. It was August 29th, that's the last time I was dealing with them. They were very good at being on time and making sure that in the window I am going to be here and being thorough with what they were doing. They were very professional. There were many things. I am going to continue to use them. The cost was pretty much standard. It was not a discount but it was not overly or beyond the typical. They made sure that everything that needed to be considered were considered. The responsiveness was quite good. They were not jumping out right the next minute but it was really a short time. They were on time. They explained to me what's going on and what the issues would be.

The service was fine. They did what we needed, but it was expensive.

It was great. They were prompt. When I called, they gave me an exact time when they're gonna be here and exact range. They were very courteous and very professional. They told me upfront once they saw it that it could cost me this much. I would absolutely use them in the future.

I loved them. I would use them forever and ever again. They communicate really well. Our technician who came out is very nice and knowledgeable. They communicated well. They let me know what's going on with the technician. They called me 30 minutes before he was going to be here, that makes it really easy to work with. I think they're probably more expensive than some of the local folks but the communication that they were able to give us made it totally worth it.

They service was well. They had to unclog a pipe. They were on time, thorough and very nice. They gave recommendations on what we can do in the future and I have not had any problems since then.

They were quick, courteous and very thorough in their report but we haven't used them to fix anything yet. They gave us two quotes; one, if we wanted to fix an immediate problem and one, if we wanted to fix the long term problem. The short term problem was $2,000 and the long term one was around $6,000. They didn't pressure us to use them or to do any of the work. My husband collected some other quotes. They were very professional when they came out. They came out the next day after we called. They came within their time windows.

They were excellent. They were on time. The man came out on time and he did an excellent job. Other companies were not able to help me with my plumbing problem. Since Benjamin Franklin use a camera that goes through and looks, it saved money.

They did an excellent job. He made sure that when he did the work, he won’t be making noise because we have a baby and for me that is very considerate of him.

There were no additional charges. The follow up was good and they made sure I was satisfied.

It turned out fine. They were on time. Their service was good. They fixed the leak and that was fine. They cut the hole and I thought they would cover the hole back up. They did an excellent job if you consider the plumbing. He was very neat, punctual and very polite. The quality of service was excellent.

I had a good experience. The plumbing work was covered under their warranty under previous work and they located the leak but they didn’t do any work on it because it turned out to be a sprinkler leak. So, they isolated it and identified it but I had somebody else to do it. So, they didn’t charge me anything. They do a good job at a fair price.

The faucet is still leaking but I have not been able to delegate time to call to have it fixed.

It went really well. They were good. They did a lot. They came back a couple of times. They knew what they were doing and they were prompt. They informed me what was wrong. I liked them. So far, so good.
