we purchased a discounted drain cleaning for $80 but the job was much bigger than a simple cleaning. The technician quickly ascertained that the project was big and difficult challenge. We were aware that it could be so we were not surprised. The tech had to call in help which arrived promptly and they worked on cleaning out the drain all day. I praise them for not giving up when it looked like they would not be able to get it cleaned out but they got the job completed. It was a long hard day for them and they forgot to re-connect a sink drain. I called the tech and he promptly came back out and re-connected the drain and even improved the connection for a better fit. I appreciate their hard work. The cost was more than we expected but they took our coupon as partial payment even though the coupon stated that they didn't have to and they earned every penny they were paid on this day.

That went okay. The guy did what I wanted them to do. I got charged a little more but they took care of me.

Called on Sunday afternoon when I discovered our back porch faucet was no longer functioning. They were able to squeeze me in, and the plumber arrived a half an hour into the scheduled 2 hour window, which was great. He quickly identified the issue, gave me my pricing options, and proceeded to remove/replace the faucet to a brand new one. I also asked about other issues I was having, and he was knowledgeable and seemed to care about helping me with my plumbing needs. Overall I am happy with the service I received from BFP, and would call them again if I had an urgent need.

called them with request by my elderly mother who lives 1/2 hr away from me to repair an outside faucet that had broken off and was running water. I called them about 2pm and they had someone out by 4pm. The cost was quite reasonable for being able to schedule something at the last minute. The only reason I did not give them a perfect score on professionalism was the confusion between the person who showed up at my moms house about how the payment would take place. I had a conversation on the phone where I gave my credit card info and number for the angies list "big deal" coupon that was $89 for $200 worth of services. While the on site provider did honor my request to be the only one contacted for payment.. he seemed frustrated by lack of communication from his home office about the rest of the process. He was quite nice though but it was obvious that there was a break down of some sort in information exchange. However.. compared to the great service and fix.. as well as being able to arrange all this by phone from a different location on a busy schedule... I will definitely be calling these great folks again!!

We had a very high water bill which the city said was due a leak in our house. BF plumbing verified that was incorrect.

I purchased a Big Deal - $89.00 for $200 worth of plumbing services. John arrived on time and was very professional. I showed him the problem areas. He explained that Benjamin Franklin charges by the job and not by the hour and showed me the pricing sheet. He then calculated what the final cost to me would be. John was very personable and extremely helpful. It was a pleasure to work with him.

It went great. They did an awesome job. They were on time. They cleaned up very well, more than I would have expected. They jack hammered a hole. So they cleaned it all up. It was covered by insurance. I would tell a friend or a family member that I had very good experience with them. They were prompt. They showed up literally at the middle of the night to help shut off the water to keep any more damage from happening.

I scheduled an appointment to fix the leak because of a previous positive experience with the company on an Angie's Deal for drain cleaning. They had sent a coupon to waive the service call fee of $59 (although the scheduling agent reported the fee is now &79 when I called to confirm if the coupon was still valid). They arrived during the window scheduled. After examining the works of the faucet, they first performed a water test, which showed a high level of calcium and suggested a water conditioning system installation for almost $7,000! Then they proposed two other options, the least costly being a rebuild of the faucet. That is the option I selected. The next highest proposal was about $900 for a new fixture installation. Then after they started the work, they noticed some other issue that would prevent them from honoring a guarantee and offered a fix of that problem for another $1,400. They performed a water pressure test in conjunction with this. Lastly, they offered to sell me a service contract with the company for about $120. They left estimates for the various additional costly services for further consideration. All I wanted was to have the drip stopped. Unless you are living on a trust fund, I would steer clear of this company. The plumbers they sent were punctual, though.

As is the case with eternal hybrid water heater repairs, the BF plumber got on the phone with manufacturer tech support. Yes, the water heater needed a part, which was covered under warranty. It was Sunday, so part would be ordered. Positives: on-time; provide service on weekend; will service eternal brand water heater Negatives: - Price: BF price, even with A-list coupon, was excessive; yes, they gave me a quote, which I agreed to; but hey, it was Sunday ... we had no hot water and needed it fixed - Follow-up: the office staff did not follow-up with the manufacturer in a timely manner. we called Grand Hall (mfr) to get status updates and learn that the part could be picked-up at their warehouse - Attitude: plumber came across with slight attitude, like he wanted to say ... "sorry you got stuck with this bad hybrid unit, we would like to sell you this brand new $5,000 water heater" ... yeah, right. Would not use BF again.

The service man was on time and got right to work. He cleared my disposal and recommended we get a new one but was not pushy. He even checked my dishwasher for me. I bought a Groupon and it came in handy. We had some toilet issues later and called them for that as well. We have been very happy with the service provided.

Everything was fine. The plumber was professional, showed up on time, the cost was reasonable and the advice was great.

I called their number to understand what the deal is exactly. At least for me it was not clear if the visit is only to understand the problem or to fix also. The lady who talked had no idea what this deal is and she looked around but could not answer it correctly. She said if it is plumbing service it should be about fixing the problem. So i got the impression that if i buy the needed things they will fix it in the same amount they are charging for the deal ie 39$. In any case they set up the time efficiently and it was very professionaly managed and the guy came on time. But then he said that they will charge more. I am planning a remodelling and just wanted a quick fix. Didnt want to spend much money there. A small thing but my expectation was that they should know on what deals they are putting on angies list. It was waste of my time as well as money. Same time i could have used to fix it myself.

I did use the big deal for a plumbing service from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. I was not at all happy with it. It was for the drain service but when they got out here, they said that they had to go through the roof and I have to pay an additional 250 dollars from what I had already paid him. That was outside of what the big deal was. By that time I could have priced it different, I could have called around and found out it was going to cost but they came out here and I had no other choice. I had to pay an additional 25 apart from the 80 I had already paid. They were very good with the professionalism and it was fast. The man knew what he was doing and he did a good job but it was just entirely too expensive. The service was good, what they did but I was just flown for loot by the price. They were punctual. I may or might not use them again in the future.

The service was pretty good. The overall price was too high, but the plumber was really good about showing up on time. He explained as he was doing it and was very patient, waiting for me to get some of the materials needed to complete the job, so that the overall cost would be lower. He cleaned up after himself.

Very good. The provider arrived on time and was very professional. I would definitely use again.

The gentleman who came out was extremely, nice, professional and informative. Would HIGHLY recommend him. I will use him again.

They did good a job, were a little bit more expensive than I anticipated but I am pleased with their work.

) Plumber said," The charge $117 to fix a leaky faucet. " Their contract reads for STRAIGHT LEVEL PRICING. " #1 Aerator nut and washer, caulking pipe trim ring, etc. I said I had a coupon $25. He then tried to tell me that the cost of tightening pipe would run me $196.00 for trip charge and service. He recommended I pay for a Year of their services package, $350. ,"I "said no." He then repeated cost of 196. and I told him how could that be since the trip charge is $25.00 not $117. That would bring bill to 72. dollars for the entire thing. He said I can give you a deal and give it to you for 196. with a 50.00 discount. ( it was not a discount, but an additional 50 charge.. added to 117.) Actual charge should be $72.Your math is still off. you say 196. minus 25. is 176. but that not right math, with 50 discount you offer. the total would be 124. if you are charging me 117. That give me 75. off. Your math does not add up correctly to my estimation. $ 25. coupon, plus your discount of 50. is 75 off. 117. total.not 196. Their contract says Society fee of $99. And don't get gouged with permit and handling charge, there is no permit to tighten a pipe , call city first if you are charged a permit fee. The plumber should produce it before you pay for it. He tried to fix pipe by bending it and breaking off a piece of it since he could not get pee trap ring off. Then the sink gasket started to leak. He said he could fix that with a replacement for 350. (He cause it to leak by forcing pipe out of alignment with sink. What a job! I will not call them for any thing. Disappointed customer who was overcharged for services $146 instead of 117. I would not recommend this company to any of my friend.

I had a leaky toilet valve and had to shut off the water for the whole house. I got the $89 for $200 plumbing service from them. They were able to come right away. I was very pleased with the work done by their technician Timothy. He was very courtesy and professional. I highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

He was nice. It wasn’t stopped up when he got here though, so he didn’t need to do the service.

I wasn't here at that time, my husband dealt with him but I know that he was quite satisfied with what he did. I'm fairly certain there were no additional expenses.

My Noritz tankless was periodically failing. It would happen about once every week or so. The water heater would completely stop producing hot water (when it fails it stops producing any water at all!) and flashed an error code 16. I googled it and found out that I could power it down, let it sit for a bit, then power it back on to clear the error condition and it would resume producing hot water for a week or so, then do it again. I decided to have it fixed, so called BF plumbing. Chris came out (very professional and courteous), performed a "tankless evaluation" ($ 453, about 15 minutes), then performed a "tankless flush thru with flow aid" ($ 269.00, about 1.5 hours). This morning, one week later, the Noritz did the same exact thing. I powered it off and back on to resume the hot water. I called BF back and Brett explained to me that the work did not have a warrantee, he could send Chris back to re-evaluate and re-estimate any further work. Brett said a supervisor would call, but that did not happen for several days. I called "Tank Yankers" who came out that day and fixed the Noritz. $ 150.00. It has not failed again. BF's supervisor called a few days later and promised to refund half my money, which they did do - $ 361.00.
