Michael Wallace, service plumber, came on time, diagnosed the problem promptly, explained what had happened to us in understandable terms and then fixed the problem while honoring Angie's list coupon. Easy to talk to as we had to actually change the originally selected coupon ($ 89 for 200) to a new one ($ 79 for drain cleaning) which was done on the phone line with Angie's list and providing the new work order number to the plumber was no problem at all.

Previous toilet installation was not done correctly and Benjamin Franklin plumbing was able to re-install it correctly with little cost.

He explained the possibilities and potential cost of what he could find once they start uncovering the leak...gave me best and worst possibilities and cost. I gave the ok to go and they had ended up changing the whole underlying rotting pipe and then the toilet.

did the tv thing down the pipe and showed us where the trouble was - on the city side of our service. we called the city and they came out and worked on the pipe and fixed it - all within a week. wow.

He was awesome! Punctual, helpful, friendly.. We will definitely use them again!

My toilet backed up and the water actually leaked out the bottom of the toilet. After unsuccessfully fixing the issue myself I broke down and contacted a plumber through Angie's List. I ended up contacting Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and hired them to do the job. This is the only point in the process that went wrong. The customer service agent would not advise me as to which AgL coupon I should purchase, but did tell me I had to purchase a coupon before scheduling the service to get the discount. Not sure if that is accurate but I will go with it. Since I did not know what the exact issue was I did the blanket $200 services for $90. After the plumber did his job and charged another $90 since the total was $290 I found I could of saved $100! Apparently if I purchased one of the other coupons for $80 the whole drain clean-out would have been covered. So my guiding words are try and do your research on the available coupons and don't rely on "customer" service to help...

They were rude and three or four times the market price. I called them first because, I saw them on Angie's List and then I saw that they had put in our water heater for the previous owner. They were inhospitable. They acted like they didn't give a crap about what was going on here and they didn't want my business. When another came out they said that they broke three ordinance codes when the installed the water heater.

Easy to schedule the appointment. They called to let me know technician was on his way. Andrew arrived on time, clearly explained what he would need to do and the cost associated with the repairs. Worked quickly, cleaned up when done. They aren't cheap, but I would definitely use them again - I felt confident he did quality work, and that's important!

The person who came to our home was courteous, explained things well. They were a little expensive, but they did a good job.

First tech showed up, and told me he would need to order a part. And that he would be back with the part in 2 days to perform the repair. 2 days later a different tech arrives and knows nothing about the part. So he tells me he will place an order for the part and come back with it 2 days later. When he arrives 2 days later, he realizes he ordered the wrong part (assumed the shower faucet was a different brand than what it was originally). So then he told me he would get an estimate for the new part and get back to me. I am still waiting to hear back. In the meantime, I have had to take off from work early on 3 different days for no fault of mine and to accommodate the lack of organization and follow through on the Plumbers side. All the techs who arrived were very professional and courteous. But this is ridiculous and rather disappointing service from a company that is all about service. I don't get it.

The technicians were polite, punctual and thorough. They said the sewer line was separated from the house, and that the whole thing has to be replaced. I am still looking for a second opinion due to the amount of work.

The Service Technician was very good and I went over and above to ensure that the work was done professionally. He cleaned up the waste without being asked. I have used this same Technician before in my home and he has always done a fantastic job. Again, I would highly recommend this company. Even though their prices are a little high, their work is very professional. So to me it's worth it.

Jeremy Bogue responded. He found no signs of leakage at kitchen sink, dishwasher or refrigerator. He ran a pressure test and determined I had no leaks with the exception of 2 small ones at water heater connections. He believed the water was from a loose faucet spray line at the spray head which he had tightened. He offered to repair the small leaks on the water heater and gave me an estimate. I declined, but asked what it would cost to replace my 16 year old water heater; I had been meaning to do that. He quoted me a price, told me all about the water heater they sell, code upgrades required, etc. I asked when he could put it in and he said, 'Right now'. Someone delivered a new water heater, Jeremy installed it in a short period of time and I was good to go. The installation passed the City inspection with no issues. I found Jeremy to be very professional, personable and knowledgeable. Thanks to Jeremy, I had a much dreaded task off my list of 'to dos'. I called an insurance adjuster, he came out and based off Jeremy's thorough inspection write up and findings, wrote me a check on the spot. Thanks, Jeremy, it was great working with you!

Outstanding. So much so that I'm taking the time to write this review. They were very professional from my initial call all the way through a follow up call by a manager to make sure I was satisfied. This is an extremely professional company that has some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. They had a good Angie's List couple too.

The warranty repair paid the cost. There was a leak and something has gotten loose and he just screwed it back together and to be valid later in ten minutes.
