Description of Work: I bought this " Super Deal' of $200 worth of services for $88.00. Basically you are paying a down-payment for whatever service you want to do. Almost all their services are over $200.00 so be aware that you will have to pay way more for whatever it is you need to fix. Definetitely not worth it in my opinion.

Description of Work: I had a running toilet that was repaired. I thought I had some other issues but he checked things out and all was okay.

Description of Work: My faucet had a leak. I had gone to Lowe's and was told it probably needed a new washer. The plumber came in, looked at my faucet, turned it on, took it apart, got out his receipt book and started writing. When he finished, he looked at me and said it will be $378. I was shocked. He said that it needed a part and that the part was not a standard part because I had a Koehler faucet. The part was over $100 because he had to order it. In taking the faucet apart, he scratched up the plastic part on the faucet. When he came back to install the $100 part, he didn't replace the part he ruined. He said that you couldn't get the faucet apart without scratching the plastic. I insisted that he replace the plastic piece since he ruined it. They were at my house 3 times to replace what amounted to a washer.

Description of Work: Fixed a drippy toilet. It hasn't dripped since.

Description of Work: I needed them to fix a DIY project gone wrong: My son installed new tile in the bathroom and accidentally broke the ring around the pipe for the toilet. Robert, from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was great (I've used him before) and replaced the pipe. Fortunately the bathroom was on the 2nd fl so he could cut a hole in the downstairs ceiling -- had it been on the 1st fl, I would have had to have the slab jackhammered! Anyway, I was pleased with the service except for the way he cut the drywall -- it was more difficult to patch because the cutting was wonky. One other thing that bothered me, and maybe someone else will have an answer, was that I learned afterwards that there's a replacement ring that could have been used instead of having to replace the whole pipe. I'm hoping that the ring replacement would have been a risky patch and that he didn't suggest it because best practice was to replace the pipe -- particularly on a 2nd fl. The actual cost of the repair would have been over $800.00 but with the $200 coupon for $89 and the service contract I purchased to reduce the total some more, it came to about $589.00

Description of Work: This provider cleaned out a shower drain. It was a scary mess while he was working. He cleaned up everything when he was done as if he was never there. GREAT JOB!

Description of Work: I did not feel the $89 covered $200 worth of work. I had lots of things for him to do, so they were easily able to charge more for their services. He fixed one of the faucets in one of the bathrooms by replacing a part. The faucet still did not work correctly after he had installed the part. He explained that I must very carefully turn it on/off for it to work correctly. That did not seem like a solution to me, but by then I was ready for him to leave.
