Description of Work: The quote for the work was way over priced. The person that came out was professional, on-time. On the review we gave him a "B". Price we gave an "F". Overall we gave a "C". We didn't get anyone else to do the work. It took us 3 days to get finished because my husband and I are 62 yrs. old and both have bad backs and are disabled. He could have done the work in 3 hrs. but we saved $1500. doing it ourselves in 3 days. All we'd like to do is get our refund. There has been a lot of confusion in doing refund. We were told the e-mail would be to us in a couple days. I just received it on 8-20. We called the first time about it on 8-13. I don't read my e-mail every day and I told the person that. I checked it for several days and nothing came. I was going to call in the morning and check on the problem. Sorry for the confusion. Look at my review on the Plumber. I mentioned this on my review for them also. Please disregard the commits about the refund. Hope you can ignore that part or remove it. Thank you

Description of Work: Fixed everything we were concerned about, except one item that the technician was not sure about, and what he thought about the issue is now needing repair. It was something that you had to wait to happen and listen for, and of course, when the person is there to fix it, it does not manifest itself...he did wait extra, but I think perhaps he needed to wait closer to the area (wall hammer problem is what I believe it was called, dealing with the regulation of water pressure.

Description of Work: I spoke to 2 people at Franklin Plumbing they could not give me even a rough estimate of the cost of my job (installing a kitchen sink). This didn't make a lot of sense to me since they refer to a price sheet for their cost. I missed 2 hours of work waiting for them to show up. When they did show up they quoted the job and the total cost would have been $883 AFTER the coupon was applied. That is a ridiculous amount to charge to instal a kitchen sink! I had received quotes for cheaper without a "big deal" It all felt like a big scam.

Description of Work: We purchased the Angie's list deal for a tune up. we had a toilet that would not stop running. so they came out to check it out. did the work and it was still running, and maybe even more. We called them back out to fix the issue. after staying for a couple hours he said there was nothing you could do. it was old and needed to be replaced. this was something I could deal with as it was 13 years old. next he proceeded to tell my wife that they can replace the toilet for $650. told her it would cost that much to go buy a toilet and then have him come back to put it in. we said no thanks. went to the store bought a toilet and installed myself for $189. the work and the effort they put in was not why I give them a lower rating, but the fact of trying to over sell my wife when they knew it was not that expensive of a project. honesty is the best policy.
