Tech was professional, on time and got right to work. My chief concern is the price - $453 less $200 Angie's List coupon seems extremely high for the work performed. No issue with the tech or the quality of the work.

By the time he got here I had the situation under control but he ran a line for me to make sure.

He did a great job. No mess and everything worked perfectly.

Carlos was prompt, pleasant, and professional. He answered my questions and was very careful about not making a mess. He even provided his contact information if I had additional questions. I would use them again.

Greg from Benjamin Franklin came out (on time) and fixed my problem. He explained everything and was super nice about explaining the problem and how he fixed it to me. Thanks for fixing my hot water!!

Arrived at 10am for the 2 hour window (10-12) which was great. Showed him the faucet to replace, he indicted that's what you get for buying Ikea ($179 last year) and gave me a $315 quote to replace it. Was slightly shocked! I bought the $89 coupon that covered $200 in labor and materials. Did some research while he was replacing it and found labor and materials (not including faucet) low end is $154 and high end is $200. So they are $100+ the highest estimate. So I paid $204.00 including coupon which is still over high end for my zip code. Won't be recommending or using them again :(

The plumber was professional and on time. The work was well done. However, I am unhappy with the pricing. They would not give me a price over the phone, saying it "varies by the job", yet when the plumber arrived he had a sheet of standard pricing for installation of sink disposals. How can you compare prices when they won't give you a price over the phone? The bill came to just under $450 and he worked for about 30-45mins. I had a coupon that helped, but I would not use them again.

He was on time. He was helpful. He will come back to complete a job that needed another part. He was a breath of fresh air to work with.

Our first technician, Mike, was fantastic. The second technician, Ryan, came out and told us that there was no problem or leak in our water heater. However...later, we were still having issues with this particular leak. Ryan came out again to take a look at a leak in our sink, and he told us that the only thing we needed was a new faucet. He was only at our home for about ten minutes. I was charged for an "exploratory" visit, but I didn't see any results. I didn't feel that he was very interested in doing the work.

es Called because I had a coupon. They called to give me time of appointment. He came 30 minutes early. Was here a total of 1.5 hrs and even made a trip to get a part during that time and the total was $750. True, he did have to go in the crawl space under the house which usually costs around $125. But I had a locall plumbing our earlier who charged $450 for going under the house and fixing some gas pipes and they were here for a second time for the city inspection. I thought the price was excessive. Also, he left lights on and his little booties laying on the floor of the bedroom where the drop down was in the closet. I did not think that was professional.

They came in a timely manner and had trouble unclogging the kitchen drain. They kept working on the drain with a snake until it was clear. They did require payment that evening and billed me the next week. I was very happy with their work. They were very polite. I will definitely use them again.

I called about 8am hoping to get an appointment for that day. The appt was set from 10-12am which was great. They called and told me they had a guy ready to come earlier if I was available again which was great. James was prompt and courteous and uniformed. He quickly diagnosed the problems, quoted a price and went to work. He fixed both issues to my satisfaction, added some biogen to all of the my bathroom drains, explained to me the work he had done, asked me if I had an questions and was on his way. The service went very well and I appreciate them getting to me very quickly

They were not as prompt as I would like.

That tub has been persistently clogged for years and we have not had any problems since. The coupon saved us around $50

Robert was very professional. Diagnosed multiple causes for leak. Only replaced parts that needed fixed. Recommended a water softener (one of causes), but was no pressure when we passed at that moment (major investment). He even noticed a low spot in yard, and was concerned we had potential break in sewer line. He ran snake with camera down sewer line at no cost -- found no problem there (phew ?)

I was very satisfied with their results. I would use them again in the future.

After the purchase, I was expecting an email telling me who was going to come so I could watch for them. Unfortunately they didn't follow through on that.

They are a great company and I have dealt with them before. He fixed all of it and gave us good information. They worked quickly and efficiently.

Fabulous. Came at exactly the time arranged. Very professional. Cleaned up after the work done. The hot water heater was difficult to repair and took longer than expected, but he stayed and completed the job.

Everything went smoothly. This is the 5th or 6th time I've used Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and Arthur has been Service Professional each time. It's all so hassle-free.

They did a good job but I felt the price was way too high. It took two guys about an hour to do the job and they charged over $1,000. When I questioned them on pricing they said they charge by the job, not the hour and they had to charge me over $500 to go under the house. While the leak was under the house, it was less than 5' from the access hole - very easy to get to and plenty of clearance between the ground and the floor of the house. To their credit, when I called the office to discuss the pricing, they did agree to take $350 off. However, I still fee this is too much to pay for a relatively simple repair - $350 and hour. In sharing my experience with others, none seemed to be surprised - they had had similar experiences. Again, I was satisfied with the work, but highly doubt any other plumber would have charged that much.

It went very well. They were right on time and did a good job. Just one gentleman was here because it was a small plumbing job, just making some corrections on some things that had just worn out. I would recommend them at this point because this would be the second time we've used the company and they did a very efficient job for us.

The person showed up on time. I had purchased a big deal of $200 of plumbing for $89. That said, Benjamin Franklin's prices are so over the top expensive, that I still ended up paying a total of $530 for a little over an hours worth of work. Without the coupon, it would have been $600 for replacing two faucets. No special work was required. It was literally disconnect the old faucets and connect the new ones up. No plumbing had to be replaced. I guess this is the company you want if you want the job done right for a fixed up-front cost as long as you know that up-front cost is going to be double what most other places charge.

Finally, I discovered the tank would leak onto the base and down to the floor if you touched or leaned on the tank in any way. So the B ratings might have been scored on any plumber. I have OCD so I stuck with it persistently until I figured it out. A plumber with OCD would probably be as tenacious as I am. But don't ask me to do brain surgery. I would be good but I would never get finished with the surgery. You don't want a surgeon like that.
