Description of Work: Other plumbers have been able to put plumber's grade "draino" down the pipes to clear the toilet for $100. Benjamin Franklin said they don't offer that service and I should replace the (3) toilets at $750 each. The lowest price option they gave me was replacing a toilet for $320 each, IF I provided the toilet.

Description of Work: Called for repair of water softner. Needed new motor and chose not to repair. The serviceman was very professional and took time to contact dealer for information and disconnected from water supply. Also I belong to their maintenance club due to previous contacts with this company have been very favorable.

Description of Work: Repaired leak under sink, Didn't connect dishwasher.Said they had to replace all plumbing in the entire area, even though it was all brand new. Just too much $$ for a half hour of work. Their pre-determined prices are excessive and should be explained in advance. Wanted over $400 additional to connect dishwasher (I already had the parts). It took another plumber less than 6 minutes to connect for a price of $85, which was the price to come out. He didn't charge me to make the connection because it was so quick. Ben Franklin's work was great, it's their prices that made it so I wouldn't recommend them!

Description of Work: Replaced garbage disposal that was leaking. Punctual, courteous. There was more piping that needed to be replaced but could not afford to spend over $500.00 today after $200.00 discount.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angies List offer for 89.00 that was worth 200.00 for plumbing services. For a total of 250.00 all I got was an estimate of what needed to be done. And then the price was way out of line and I ended up calling someone else. I feel that this offer was a ripoff and misrepresented by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Would not use them again.

Description of Work: Fixed and internal leak in our toilet tank. Fixed a leak in our bathroom sink. We had a coupon which brought it down to $89.

Description of Work: They explained the home owner and the City responsibility for waste meter leaks. He did some simple testing and stated the leak was on the City did and did not charge a fee.. Very polite and clean uniform.

Description of Work: They unclogged my toilet as needed, provided advice, and cost less than the $300 per hour the last plumber I used charged.

Description of Work: I recently bought a townhouse with a really gross toilet. Don't know why it was so gross, but nothing could get rid of the smell, and the underside of the toilet seat would stain from whatever was wafting up from the pipes below. I get queasy thinking about it. | |So I bought a deal for a new toilet. They bring the toilet, install it, take away the old one. | |Now, no more gross toilet. A painless process. Recommended.
