Finally he looked at the great deal Angie's List gave and complained about it. I am glad for the coupon but do I always have to put up with constant hard selling for a "B" rated company? Description of Work: Diagnosis fee was a bit expensive and it was a little inconvenient because of the hole they left in the ceiling below the leak. But the problem was really easy to fix because it could be fixed from above... | |The service was very good. I felt like I understood the problem and that it was taken care of competently. We were able to patch the hole left behind afterwards.

Description of Work: Unstopped an obstruction in my condo's complex that had caused my sink to backup. He was on time and let me watch him work and explained things with great detail. He even made sure in the notes on the receipt that it was clearly not my fault (so that my HOA would reimburse me, which they did).

Description of Work: We used a Ben Franklin in San Antonio, not Plano. Is that the home office? They cleaned out the sink drains, and did extra work for no charge while we were waiting for a camera to arrive, to check the stoppage.

Description of Work: I paid the Angies list fee to have them provide an estimate to install a gas line. This was an external 30 foot total length to be connected at the existing heater for the spa which was already stubbed. Run a 30 foot poly gas line and stub it on the other end for a future connection. To make it easier I had already dug the trench to meet city code. The job for Benjamin Franklin was to make one connection, drop in the poly gas line and stub it on end. They quoted me $2600.00 to do this! Not a typo, yes, $2600.00. I hired another Master Plumber from another company who did it for less than $1000.00. I did speak to a supervisor about this crazy price quote and was treated nicely but told this is the cost for gas line work based on insurance and liability. To me, not acceptable for maximum 2-3 hours of work at a cost of $2600.00

Description of Work: My son jammed our disposal. The person they sent out fixed it in about 10 minutes and then asked if there was anything else I needed him to look at. He looked at the other slight problems I had and then suggested alternatives I could do to remedy them.

Description of Work: Flushed 2 hot water heaters. Work was successfull and done satisfactorily.

Description of Work: I bought the option for $200 worth of plumbing work. I had 2 jobs to do. He looked at my leaky toilet, did some work. Then he ran outside to look at my faucet, the other problem I had. He then came to me and said there was another problem with my toilet and it would cost $150 to fix. I told him to never mind about the faucet as that was too expensive to do both. He then said he had already fixed the faucet. The bill ended up being over $200 more than the original $200 special I had bought on Angie's List. I felt the way he did it was disingenuous. I felt the charge was much higher than it should have been.
